Hey guys I really want a clean aosp version of honeycomb but all I can find it jellybean and ICS I know I know jelly bean is better but I love the look of honey comb I'm running cm 10.2 unofficial build
Any help would be great thanks guys
There's no AOSP ROM for HC since HC is closed sourced, unlike other version, which is open sourced. That would explain why there is cm 7 for gingerbread and cm 9 for ICS but no cm 8 for HC.

Hi there,
I tried the dragon miui and really didn't like it, currently running the official miui version 4. few bugs but very nice at the min

Miui V4 (all flavours) buggy as hell @ the moment. Wait a few weeks/stick to GB for now.
I wouldn't recommend v4 at all. Miui special edition 12 by dragon is the best.

nah v4 is ok, yes there's a few bugs but it hardly impairs the rom. I've been quite liking it for now.....

Will there be android 4.1 jelly bean for the x10?
No official jellybean for x10 its too old there are some 'jellybean' roms around that's as close as you'll get

Then why x8 have jellybean CM? I thought it has much lower ram than x10?

CM = cyanogenmod its a base rom of stock that's been modified to look like jellybean same as ones for x10 they are just themed roms not actual jellybean may say android version 4.1 in settings but its just changed to make it look like its android 4.1

ofcourse not.
It has real cm10 built from source but it is in beta stage.
FXP has officially said they will not make cm10 for X10. Someone else might do it but as for now there's no JB here.
Sadly I would say that Cm10 would be not good for x10 ,I tested it long back ago it has many bugs and runs at 2 fps.
Edit:- Cm9 is buggy with many minor bugs then wats the point of having cm10 with same bugs.

+1
we need to fix cm9 first rather than unstable cm10
Not even single breakthrough..tried testing making jb work in x10...but unfortunately 6fps...after that..kaboom!!! Besides, if x10 camera and fps uncap, related hardware acceleration not fully working in ics, and not passing CTS test...whats the point and meaning of making jb rom...but we shd be grateful that our old x10 managed to go ics even with lower hardtech..i'm happy at least haha

What's some differences in cm10...I've not flashed a cm10 rom yet and I was just curious? Is there any difference in how the UI functions?

No difference in the UI.. just the performance of jelly bean is better
Sent from my LG-P500 using xda app-developers app
CM9: Based on Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.4
CM10: Based on Jelly Bean 4.1 - 4..2
Apart from the difference in upgraded Android OS versions, Jelly bean holds a smooth UI with improved notification support and performance. It also adds some cool framework features like the notification dropdown which has been improved significantly. To sum up, if you are willing for stability go for CM9 which can be used as a daily driver but If you want drastic improvements with some bugs to compromise with, choose CM10. On this note, I would also state that bugs are being solved at a speed and so will you get a bugless CM10 soon. Thanks to Rashed, adfad666 & Bytecode.
I tried Rashed's and adfad666 CM10 ROMS and the only difference I found aside of the notification bar was the version number and the countless bugs. ._. !
All jb roms have terrible battery life atm. If you use WiFi a lot that alone is a no go.

What in the world is ICS 2? Are you referring to Jellybean? Yes I know it works on that but unfortunately the 4.0 does not have a JB ROM yet.

he means
"chrome works on ics too"
Haha Chrome porting to GB not possible in 100 years
The reason on why the Chrome app is only on Ice Cream and Jelly Bean is because it requires hardware acceleration. Gingerbread does not support it. Here on XDA, your fellow members (considered developers or "devs"), port, or design their own improvements to be released and flashed. Therefore, requesting to port Chrome is incorrect, but to find ROM'S that do support it, would be your answer.
This isn't Chrome but its close to it. Look for the xScope Browser. If you look on the store you'll only find the Pro version which is 4.X+. The older v6.5 runs on GB and works well.
Hello there,
Can a custom ROM with Google's ICS or Jellybean version be available?
Though there are lot of mods available, though trying each of them didn't give me the complete feeling of Google version of my phone.
I like Touchwiz but the AOSP version is what I love the most.

Ok. I found that cm 11 is available for it but it is preety unstable as they said.
Also it is the KitKat version. I am thinking to have the older i.e. jb or ics versions cos of their simplicity in UI.
