Hi to everyone, this is my first little mod. It was born for personal use, but I want to share with you what I've done.
I like GB on my Xperia U, but GB Ui is ugly, so I've made something to make it better (following my personal tastes).
BlackTheme.apk: I've changed background in settings, phone, message, mail etc to Deep Black.
INSTALLATION:
make a nandroid backup, in order to came back in every case.
copy BlackTheme.apk to /system/vendor/overlay/framework
give right permissions to the file (rw-r--r--)
Reboot and select black theme in display setting

I tried to install it, but all I have in themes are Silk, Turquoise, Emerald, Sapphire, Gold Ruby and Amethyst...but ia can see thet in this folder is some BlackTheme.apk already...any help?

You're right, I don't use landscape...so I changed only portrait.In few hours I'll update it

UPDATE: This is an on-going project! By me!
A lot more is done in a more recent fix i have completed.
I'm also not responsible if you brick your phone, or mess it up in anyway, if you don't know how to replace system apk's and the framwork.apk don't you shouldn't be attempting to install this, i'm not going to tell you how as there is plenty of topics/threads on this.
This is for STOCK rom only.
Version: 4.0.2.A.0.42
What I have done/included:
. Replaced the SE icons with that from ICS,
. Status bar is partially themed to resemble ICS.
. Settings has had some icons replaced.
. Camera looks a bit more ICS style.
. Theres a zip containing the ICS/ Galaxy Nexus ringtones/notifications/alarms/UI sounds.
. Theres a folder with 2 ICS wallpapers and the ICS icons and some icons resembling the folders icon in ICS
.Toast notifications are now ICS style.
.Some notification icons are now ICS style (messages, gmail)
.Tick boxes and scrolle along the right hand side is now ICS style
.ICS overscroll glow.
.Headers are now ICS style
.Contact boarders are now ICS.
.Clock & Date is now ICS coloured.
. NOtifications title and description is now White (readable) some 3rd party apps may still have difficult to read text on the black background, that is down to the app itself not my theme.

Launcher is launcher pro with ICS icon theme, although it is no longer needed now that i replaced system icons with ICS icons.
The google widget is desktop visualizer with the ICS google search bar icon.
Simi folder widget with the folder widget icon included.

Total noob here, but why can't Neo use Theme Chooser? Coming from X8, changing themes is a no-brainer...

Great work! I have a question though. What do I need to do if I only want these new blue icons+ blue clock and nothing else? I want everything to stay stock except for these icons.
I downloaded your theme and thought about just taking the SystemUI and Framework.apk and putting them on my phone... but I guess I'm gonna get a whole lot of other changes too, if I just replace the stock SystemUI.apk and the framework.apk with the ones you've modified?

Not bad,using second one but could you make GingerBread theme.

First boot could take a couple of minutes. Wait.
After phone boots, it could be a little laggy. Bluetooth and screenshot could work not fine. Just wait . When all be fine, make one more reboot

In your case font will be original one and not that shown in pictures
Downloaded again and everything went fine,anyway it looks that file was corrupted.

Yeah. Just download all 4 parts of file, join it using winRAR, install it, then install the hotfix.

oh this is normal:
I'm afraid this is the most semblable Xperia S theme you ever seen
bit to much own dunk man, then we call all our own threads:
its amazing etc but thats my meaning, and yes i know that, mine is to for GB,
dont get me wrong but my theme is update it to by Emann, with icons etc and 5x4 homelauncher with rotation
can you advise how you changed the lockscreen clock font smaller?

FAQ:
-Just click the brightness icon at the statusbar if you cant see the toggles at the 2nd layout
-To make your home screen like on my screenshot you need to download
galaxy+theme.mtz and put it on sdcard/MIUI/Theme/here then choose the theme at launcher themes menu
-you need to be careful in choosing lock screen on mihomelauncher because some of the lock screen themes are not for ldpi devices.

There is a problem with superuser
SU binary is outdated and when try to update it .....it fails
what to do op???

just download or replace it with superSU i've done with it

make sure that u have internet connection to update it

obviously i know.....but there is a problem
anyways downloaded supersu and now its working
there is a problem in superuser app

i have dowloaded this theme n i am facing a prob since then,when ever i move my hand over the sensor mobile gets locked automatically is there any way to fix this bug ?

you can disable it in settings..just explore
