Please try to recover you phone using LG Mobile Support tool. You can download latest version from LG website. It took about 2 hours to download and flash. Put your phone in s/w update mode before run it.

I have a few questions for you.
1. Are you trying to unbrick your phone?
2. Do you have the AT&T E970 variant.

Well if your phone isn't bricked (meaning you can boot it up to the home screen), you may flash the entire JB zip located here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2067871
This is safer then using the LGNPST which is mainly if your phone is bricked.
But you did not mention that your phone is bricked, meaning you cannot turn it on past the boot logo.

[Q] Update LG G Watch after custom ROM

I got an OTA update on my G Watch after I returned it to stock after having installed a custom ROM. It's build number KMV78Y and i tried to install it. Every time I try, it boots once, then reboots and the screen just starts flashing. Any help or a system image for KMV78Y?

I ran into the same issue, I fixed it by flashing the original image via fastboot (I flashed all the partition images):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=54479160&postcount=4
You can also try using the tot file and the flashtool if you have access to a windows (which I don't, hence the fastboot approach).

HELP! Lg L5 always on "Download in progress. Do not disconnect cable."

Hello guys, my LG L5 always stay in download mode. I tried to restore stock JB rom, because not working been with cm11. What should I do? It's possible to working again with my phone? :\
I think U should use KDZ Updater or LG Flash tool, and an KDZ image of desired firmware. This is almost complete guide "how-to" flash phone. KDZ file is somewhere here.

If you see Emergency Mode on yellow background your phone is fully recoverable. I recommend installing Windows 7 and use the Flashtool Tutorial my friend just pointed you.

Fingerprint and Security tab force closes and uninstalling an app reboots the phone

Hi friends
This is my first thread created because i see alot of people get into trouble after flashing latest stock os on lg v10 specially Labled as V10 H901
I bought it few weeks ago just flashed latest os 6.0
Every thing gone ok until phone reboots
But in settings as this thread says got into trouble
Searched alot but no solution except replacing motherboard
I disassemble the phone and looked at it
IT WAS V10 VS990 AKA V10 Verizon
Then I downloaded latest vs990 stock firmware and boom every thing is working fine now....
Thanks

Thanks for your help bro.
But how can we edit build.prop? The device is in MM already and it can't be rooted.
Only root can access and modify the build.prop file.
Do you have a method to flash the verizon firmware to the refurbished device renamed as H900 AT&T device?
I tried to flash it with LGUP it says KDZ file is invalid. With LG Flash Tool I've also got an error.

Try oldest one as it will ignore all restrictions
i have not tried it myself but here is the method to edit build prop without root.
adb pull /system/build.prop <path to save file>
Now edit the file you just extracted and save it
Push it back to your phone via adb
adb push <path to your file> /system/build.prop
You're not done yet. You need to set permissions too
So open she'll via terminal
adb shell
Now from shell, set the right permissions
chmod 644 /system/build.prop
And you're done

Can you explain to us clearly what flashing tool you used and, if possible, what kdz file you used too(and DLLs if necessary)
Everything on this thread seems to be a bluff...
I could not find any evidence of anyone actually being successful flashing the VS990 rom on to an H900.
Until someone has a well-described process and proof of functionality, I don't think anyone here should believe what is being stated.

Help - Cant Enter Recovery - Bricked?

I think I screwed up and bricked my phone... I had recently updated to 20g and was having some issues with some things (I didnt wipe some data when I did the update). So I then tried to wipe some data (from twrp/recovery) and probably ended up wiping more than I should have. My phone now seems to not want to startup. It just sits with the LG V30ThinQ logo on the screen (I had unlocked my US998 phone and have the latest - 20g .kdz on it). I can get into fastboot mode, but if I run adb devices it will give me a blank list of devices. Though it will act like its connected (computer gives a tone like a device is plugged in). lgup doesnt indicate anything is ever connected either. It seems to let me flash something to recovery, so I tried - Fastboot flash recovery with the latest twrp image and it seemed to work.
Trying the button dance on multiple occasions I cant seem to get into recovery. It will send me to factory data reset. And I have said yes a few times, but it still wont fully boot... and trying to get into recovery doesnt seem to do anything.
I tried reflashing (through fastboot) some of the images (first time system, 2nd time boot) directly out of the 20g kdz file and they seemed to flash even though it never shows any devices... I tried entering recovery and just got back to being able to do a factory data reset (tired again). And it still doesnt get past the LG V30ThinQ logo screen (waited like 10 minutes).
Help?

Thanks for the quick response Chazz. I havent done this before. So I am guessing I use uppercut to flash? Am I good to flash 20G since my bootloader is already unlocked or should I go back to an older version? I can get into download mode and uppercut recognizes the device etc...

Uppercut doesn't work once you're on Oreo. Uninstall it, you'll never use it again.
Use the Dev Patched LGUP attached to post #1 of the US998 KDZ thread.
