[Q] [Help] Louder volume through Bluetooth Headphone. - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've Searched much about it before thinking open a thread, but I got nothing wich could help me.
Is there a way to boost music volume when using BT Headphones ? I'm on android 4.3 ProBam v4.4.2. tried few kernel ( like boeffla to adjust the sound volume but it doesn't seems to affect BT Sound)
Tried also alot of others version and roms 4.2.2 and 4.1.2 still no good.
the mod wich actually boost a little the volume was Viper4Android. but I got just a "little up" from the level I was.
My question is... is there anything I could do to boost the volume up using BT Headphones ?

There is little you can do about bluetooth volume. Unlike Speaker, Wired headphones etc, these are not limited to the kernel. It is limited by the bluetooth module and it is controlled independently. Whetever you have now, is what you're stuck with pretty much.
in DSP manager on AOSP roms, it's possible with a few tweaks to the EQ, you may be able to simulate a louder volume. People advised me to try things with modified DSP managers. Such as MegaBeats. It increased bass, but didnt give more volume.

Yeah, i was kinda exprectin that.
but yet, thank you guys for your help

[Q] Low volume in headset

hello.
i'm on latest wolfbreak v6 with doomlord's kernel v5 unlocked.
My problem is that i have low volume in headset. Is there any way to make it sound louder without running background apps like volume+ which i also feel that looses the quality as i set it at a higher volume?
before this x10 i had an iphone which had a very high volume in headset.
No one?
DSPManager isn't even working.
if i remember well on galaxy i9000 there was an app/driver for audio..voodoo.....which was much better for amplifying sound which was implemented on kernel or something like that.

Low volume on headset compared to iPhone 4

Was listening to spotify on my brand new S3 and i though the volume was a bit low and the sound was not always 100% clean. I previously had the iphone 4 and the sound of that one is punching compared... Is there something wrong with my S3 or do i need to do something?

Try to see if the equalizer of the GS3 is set to normal or else change it back to normal.
Also, if you want, there are plenty of kernels that offers improvements to sound and boost of volume.
See more of "Siyah kernel" "Francesco Kernel" and "N.E.A.K".
You need to root to flash the kernel.
i haven't had/heard any audio problem in mine S3 compared to the pc sound with headset. (Mac).

[Q] Low in-call volume with wired headset

This problem has been talked about some time, but I'm not able to find a real solution:
I'm using CM9 with Siyah-kernel. When I use a wired headset, the in-call volume is extremly low. Even at max I cannot understand the other party when I'm outside.
Now, some solutions have been proposed:
* Use STweaks to boost headset volume. That works but also increases the music volume. If I boost it enough so that in-call volume is good, music volume gets hard to control.
* Use the service menu. On my phone I cannot access the audio menu. As I understand, I could flash a different modem (e.g. XXKI3). Can anyone tell me where to download it? All links I found were dead. And anyhow, as I understand these settings are reset on boot. So it's not really a permanent solution.
Is there anything else someone could think of?
I'd really appreciate any ideas.
Best regards
Ole

[Q] Help, is this impossible?

I'm trying to raise the volume of my bluetooth phone unsuccessful..
This is what i tryed:
First I root my Nexus 4 with stock rom 4.3
I tryed Viper's 4 Android (newest version) with all configurations and modes (including install like user and like system app), nothing works...
I tryed Volume+, same, didnt work. In fact is lowering the volume. I can hear a fast loud volume (less the 1 second when I activate the boost) then back to limited volume :/
Then I install Franco.Kernel last version too. With headphones and speaker, the Franco boost works...
The I tryed everything again, V4A, Volume+ and NOTHING. The bluetooth phone still almost inaudible.
So, i was almost trying this FauxSound and then I read something what looks really bad in his description at play store:
"NOTE: DOES NOT BOOST/CONTROL BLUETOOTH... BLUETOOTH is 100% DIGITAL... THIS APP WILL NOT CHANGE BLUETOOTH VOLUMES OR GAINS!"
What this means? There is NO WAY to boost Bluetooth volume anymore???
I dont know what to do... Is anyway to do this? A really working way to boost the bluetoth phone volume? Or this is not possible?!
Anyone trying the same? Anyone has an Nexus 4 with 4.3 with this working?
Please help-me!
TNX A LOT!

In Call Volume Boost w/ Root

Now that we have root for our Z3v's... I've been playing around with trying to find/edit the files that control our phones speaker volumes (both in call earpiece volume and speaker phone volume). I don't necessarily need to increase the speaker volume for playing music because most of the time I'm using bluetooth, but I'm sure a lot of people would be interested in that as well.
I'd like to be able to just modify the phones system files rather than use some sort of booster app.
From what I'm been able to find, the file located in /system/etc/ called mixer_paths.xml is what our device uses to control volume parameters. I've seen where other devices have had these types of files modified in order to boost max volumes.
Is this something we can do with our phones? The in call volume, both earpiece and speaker phone are just TOOOO quite for me.
This is about as far as I can comfortably go as I'm not a developer/programmer.
Anyone out there comfortable helping out with this idea? Is it possible.

I also would like to know how to increase the volumes
I think it's almost comical how low the audio levels out of the headphone jack are. I don't know if this can be fixed or what but even playing at full volume it seems too low.

I've been using the Sound Mod from Z3 Development version 3.3 with Dolby Digital Plus (I think it has beast audio) & the volume on the headphones is so loud at the second click up. They even have a way to go back to stock.

I'm using the beast audio mod as well. Good stuff.

Sorry to dredge up an old thread.... You say you're using the sound mod. Did you flash that in recovery?
Checking this out first, just got root today and don't want a shiny new paperweight anytime soon

I did flash the sound mod through recovery but it only boosted speaker volumes, not in call volumes. I used the one without Dolby.

Wow so we can flash .zip files in recovery now? Again just making sure, just rooted and there isn't a ton of info out there for our device atm. Thanks in advance
I flashed it in the dual recovery as well. Just make a backup first because the zip they have to take it back to stock isn't for our phone. In other words if you ever want to go back you should wipe & reload the backup. And make sure you don't install the lollipop version.

Does this mod increase speaker volume in general? Like listening to music?
