I have Android 2.3.6 running.
A number of apps support signups/logging in using a google account.
Generally, In any app, after I click "Sign in with Google" button and enter my account details, it takes me to a page where I have to click "ACCEPT" to proceed. This page lists the "This app would like to:" permissions.
Here, I am unable to click the "Accept" button. It is a faded shade of blue and is un-clickable.
I have tried clearing all the data of the system apps. It was of no use.
Does anyone know of a solution?

hi
SO I have this SGSII now and using Lightning ROM on it, which has apparently the stock Calendar App. I can sync my google calendar etc and it works but there is the following nagging small issue.
If I create an event in google calendar and put a valid "google locatable address" in the "location bar" then it does show up in the event details. If I have phone number in the description it also shows up in the event details (in the sammy)
there is a hyperlink for the phone to dial the number also which is great.... HOWEVER, even if the location does show up there is no hyperlink on it, to directly locate the address in the stock "google maps" app!!!
I have to go to "edit event" and then scroll down, to the location box, and then there is the "map button" next to it which if clicked takes me to map... thats rather pain in the A**... Is there a issue-tracker for this app, where I can file an enhancement request ??

I expect you'd report it here: http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/list.
Looking a bit further, seems to be this? http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=17984
Sometimes after installing or updating an app from the Play Store, a popup with the following text appears:
Enjoy your app! If you ever forget your password, we can help you restore access to your Google Play library and purchases. Tap "Continue" to tell us how to contact you.
Click to collapse
How can you disable this pop-up?
note: you'll only get this pop-up if you haven't surrendured your mobile # to them yet
I am having an issue with trying to log into my Office 365 account for my work email using OWA on my new LG G5. I can log in to the web-based version using Chrome. But when I attempt to do it on OWA, it says "Finding your server (this may take a moment)..." for about 15-30 seconds, and then says "Couldn't find your settings" with the options to "Try again" or "Advanced". Clicking on "Advanced" gives me the fields of "Email address:", "Password:", "User name:", "Domain:", "Server:", and a check box for "Server requires encrypted (SSL) connection". I have played around with these but no luck.
Seems to be an LG G5 issue, as it worked/still works fine for me on my Nexus 5.
Help! Really hoping to use OWA to get notifications that I've gotten so used to .
mine seems fine, but I use the MailCal app as it caches all my OWA content a lot better (incl MailCal cache of the address book and optional calendar sync'ing to the phone - even though this is supposed to be blocked for mail apps ).

UPDATE 12-16-16: I found that I can make it work if I go into "Advanced", where I have to use a very long many-character address typed exactly as shown in my desktop Outlook account settings as my "Server" address. Also, I used "https://outlook.office365.com" as my "Domain".
Hope this helps somebody else out there!!!
Hi everyone,
I always get this annoying popup message
"Failed to do geocode lookup, request timed out (TimeoutError) "
I'm not sure whether it's a problem of this Huawei phone or a general Android/app message because I can't figure out which app is showing this message.
It appears in every app including home screen about every 30 minutes for about 2 or 3 seconds.
Can anyone help me?
I am having the same issues as well. Hopefully someone has fixed it!
It looks like an app that needs location access permission to function doesn't have permission. I would go into settings/apps/permissions/location and you will see a list of apps with the location permission toggled on or off. See if there is anything obvious that needs location access like the weather app or Maps.
You can also go into apps, select Google Services and make sure it has has location access permission. The Google app needs location access as well.

Thanks for your answer, I tried this out by giving location access to all my available apps, including system apps, but the message still appeared today
Same here, only on Samsung S9

I have the same issue on a Samsung Galaxy S9. This is a company phone and none of the other owners of the same model have this issue, so it must be an app or a setting.

There is a simple way to find which app shows that message.
Just install the Toast Source (created by MichaĆ Jakubowski) app from Play and enable it as service.
It will send a notification after every toast message so you can get information about the source.
For me it was the digical. It had all permission. After I reinstall it the message disappeared.
I hop it will help you as well.
Hello,
this thread is very specific because it's about a single app from a single bank that operates in Europe (N26).
I hope to find someone who has the same bank who can tell their experience.
So the issue is this: if I tap on any notification coming from this app, the notification disappears and the app does not open. For example if I have to confirm the desktop login through the app, I click on the notification and nothing happens, so I have to manually open the app in order to retrieve the popup message and take some action.
Needless to say, I tried to uninstall and reinstall the app on my S21 with no success, and I tried the same with three other phones in my family (Oppo, Huawei, Honor) and with these other phones there are no issues opening the notifications coming from this app, they correctly redirect to the app showing the required popup.
Anyone who can check if they have the same problem?
Or in general has anyone experienced the same problem with some other app? Any suggestions?
Thank you
Edit: I managed to find someone with that bank account and the same device. He tested for me and confirmed this behaviour. So it must be an S21 series problem
Try clearing the system cache... can't hurt.
