CM 10.2 P765 Stuck on bootscreen - LG Optimus L9 P760, P765, P768, P769

Hi, i flashed cm 10.2 rom for p760 on my p765 and everything went well for the first boot. Im experiencing some.problems like-
Usb tethering not working
But, the main problem is when i reboot the phone. The phone gets stuck at the LG logo screen. If i pull the battery, enter recovery and do a factory reset, then the rom loads till the cyanogenmod bootanimation. But it's stuck there.
I think i have experienced the same with the PAC rom.
Is there anything i could do to get rid of this problem? I was really looking forward to using cm10.2
UPDATE:
If I try removing the battery first and then rebooting, the rom boots up sometimes, but I'm present with a whole lot
of "Tyler messed up" errors. Everything force closes. I'm linking two logcats, maybe someone can take a look at this
and find what's wrong.
Logcat for first boot when everything works - http://pastebin.com/nK0zyKAj
Logcat for the boot when everything force closes - http://pastebin.com/nVimwGyk
Thanks.

Did you changed anything to build.prop if not
Try to wipe everything from recovery otherwise or reinstall cm10.2 and see whats happening or go back tobyour previous rom and wait a cm10.2 for your model
Sent from my LG-P880 using Tapatalk 2

I didn't change anything in build.prop
I had wiped everything except the external sd card before flashing
UPDATE:
Whenever i try to turn usb tethering on, the adb connection to the phone gets reset. I have no idea why.
Thanks

Updated First post with logcats

Is it possible you've flashed incorrect version of GApps?

Nop. I flashed the gapps mentioned in the rom thread.
Sent from my LG-P765 using xda app-developers app

I also tried without installing gapps bit still no luck.
It's weird since the rom seema to be working for everyone else

Dont panic its revertable.
Did you make all the necessary wipes?
Try booting in CWM and wipe your system, then install .zip again.
Also, flash twice the first time. or you might need the .3.1 beta from the fixes thread first.

Try This!
try flashing the newest version from jokersax.com. I take no credit for this and all goes to Jokersax the developer. I also love the miui rom which is what i use now.
Can anybody say detailed steps about cm9 installation which you already did.....? Pls

The way joker has it laid out in the op always works for me.
Root, unlock, flash cwm. (I use twrp)
Flash beta 0.3.1 from fixes thread
boot phone, check for signal
All good reboot recovery and flash latest with joker gapps 9 then 12.
Profit from the mad genius that is joker

WIPE DATA,CACHE,SYSTEM. DO IT TWICE IF NECESSARY. FLASH ROM. FLASH GAPPS. DO IT TWICE IF NECESSARY. GET FORCE CLOSE ON BOOT? FLASH 0.3.1. BOOT UP. THEN GO BACK AND FLASH THE NEWEST WITH GAPPS. DO NOT WIPE ANYTHING!
DONE.
if this does not work. there's some sort of user error. remember wipe wipe wipe.

Vibrant won't reboot to recovery after CM10+

So, I've been on 10.1 for a while, and ever since, I can not Reboot to Recovery using normal options.
The only way I can get in to recovery is to open Rom Manager, flash recovery, then reboot recovery from INSIDE rom manager.
No other way works.
It's kind of annoying. I decided today to flash back to stock using ODIN and start fresh again.
From stock, I install CM7. I can reboot to recovery using CM7 no problem.
From CM7, I install CM10.1 nightly (the latest), and after the phone finally gets in to 10.1, I can no longer reboot to recovery from the reboot menu.
I have to install Rom Manager, then flash recovery from it, then reboot from it.
I have to do this process EVERY time I want to reboot recovery.
Any other way I try, it just reboots normally and not in to recovery.
What gives? Anyone else with this problem?
Thanks.
I just tried to use Terminal Emulator and that fails as well.
su
reboot recovery
It just reboots normal.
Have you tried using any other 4.2.1 ROMs?
Sent from my SGH-T959 using xda app-developers app
No, i haven't.
Well then try like hellybean

You should expect to run into problems when using a "nightly" build ROM. Its practically beta stages, find a ROM that is complete like the poster above mentioned. Cant really recommend any 4.2.ROMS , I stick with froyo ROMS for better performance.

The reason why I recommended that is because he was on a 4.2 ROM that he was having problems with. Sometimes its painful to go to a lower ROM as far as looks and speed goes therefore I recommended a 4.2 that he could try

Still having this problem. Using multiple roms. Now I'm on Baked 4.2.2.
Still can't boot to recovery.
This is annoying as hell.

Jellyverse - Unfortunately, the UI has stopped working.

Hey guys, I am quite new to this flashing roms, kernals, etc.. I am not a novice when it comes to general programming, just to the mobile devices. Well, I installed Jellyverse 3.0, and at the OS startup (where you would normally enter google account information for sync) It had told me the UI had stopped working. I did this twice to test.. The pull down status bar wouldnt work, no animations, and no 3g on the first run. I decided {MAYBE} and I say that with an extreme giggly voice, I had done something wrong. So, I followed the process again and of course, same problem. The third time I installed, when I got the UI stopped working error (before I made the first selection after install even) I decided to just Reboot the device. Thus rebooted and continued on without any error. My question is what did I miss on the install leading to this problem? I notice I don't have anykind of themed screen transition, is this because of the error? Any response and feed back if aprriciated, Thanks!

Thank you, for your response. Yes, I did try wiping ALL data.. Still have the same error. The phone is up and running, flawless (after a reboot of said error..) I'm just wondering if I missed anything and reporting back for future bug fixes. Is there no screen transition animation to this rom?
That rom.is cm10.1 4.2.2?

4.3 roms don't like my phone turning off

Every time my phone dies, or I turn it off or I reboot, no matter what 4.3 rom I'm using, it stays on the boot animation until I either pull battery or hold power to turn off. I've flashed, reflashed, dirty flashed clean flashed (I format the system as well) I've tried CM10.2, PacMan, and Beanstalk and all three have this issue. I haven't read anywhere that someone else is having problems like this. Please advise!:fingers-crossed:

I have the same problem. Can't seem to figure it out either. The only way to fix it is to reflash. At first I thought it was an app or setting but after a clean install and boot I reboot without going through the setup but it still would not reboot.
Same
I'm having the exact same issue and as you have, I've tried everything I can think of.
Ive tried flashing CM 10.2 + GAPPS, just CM10.2, 3 different types of Google Edition Roms and in every case the initial boot is fine... It boots and works perfectly, however on first reboot, it wont boot back up.
It just sits on the SGS4 logo, have left it for 25 minutes.
I would really love to know how to fix this. The only way to get it working after it has been restarted once is to delete cache, dalvik AND data...
Cache and Dalvik don't fix it.
figured a little bit...
Well now that I've flashed it using TWRP instead if CWM touch, it does reboot back up. However with TWRP flashing I'm getting reboots while typing.

If this works can you post a quick overview of what you did...
Because I've tried reinstalling TWRP and it didnt seem to help, but happy to try again if it works for you!
All is good!
Been running it since I installed using the method i mentioned above.
The ROM is running smoothly with no issues or reboots. I did reboot it a couple times to verify that it is booting properly.
Alright...I installed TWRP through Goomanager, when I did this I selected the manual option and booted into CWM and performed a BACK UP first...flashed the TWRP.zip file that goo downloaded for me. Version 2.6.0.1 I think it was? I rebooted into recovery and found it successfully flashed TWRP, I went into the wipe options and chose data cache system and dalvik, backed out and chose install and reinstalled Cm10.2 and GApps. I'm able to reboot and all but I'm still finding reboots here and there....I was able to go 18hrs on battery (awesome for stock settings!) And without a single reboot.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using Tapatalk 4
Yup that's the same for me. Random reboots here and there but overall very solid with great battery life.
Can't wait for more nightlies.

[Rom][JellyBean][4.3][BeanStalk Build 4.3.05][updated 8.19]
I have Flashed it with no issues :fingers-crossed:
hope this will help you
Yeah, I posted in the dev thread, that particular one gives me reboots while typing if the vibrate on key press is on. Other than that it was working fine. I'm still digging the cm 14th nightly.

Yup same with me. Kinda surprised that there have been no more Nightlies for this though, The Note II has one updated to 18th.
I'm sticking with this.

I managed to get it to flash but upon boot, it hung. I tried flashing a KK CM kernel and achieved the same result and restored back to a CM12.1 ROM. I'm going to mess with it a little more tonight.
Thanks for the feedback!

I had to restart once, it hung on first boot. After that it booted fine. I ran it for a few hours but not my kinda rom. The CM kernel will hang it's samsung based
Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
How did you get it to boot?
This ROM boots without issue. No need to change kernels or anything else. That said, after booting I do not have any voice or data services available. I tried restoring the Sprint APN and, although it shows up, I still can't get connected to the Sprint network.
EDIT: Whenever I flash a new ROM, my method is always wipe system, data, dalvik cache, and cache 3 times then reboot to recovery and proceed with flashing as normal. With this ROM, after the first boot it seems to hang. Press and hold power til it reboots then you'll see the MIUI boot animation.
