Hello!
I finally made it back the firmware on my Huawei to install G510-0100. I have (for G510-0010) with the "update via SD" installed a wrong before. I have no longer the originals on the Update function to install, I had to disassemble the Update.app file with TWRP and flash (Guide). However, this did not dirket of the Huawei site, since the only have the firmware for the G510-0200. Have now taken from here after a long search.
But now, unfortunately, my sim card is not detected. IMEI is still there, but the Baseband version is off in the settings. (Normal the version is shown i think). It does not check for the pin and without pin is not also. In other phones, the sim works.
I've tried that with many custom roms, but Sim card is not detected with different custom Roms. But with every Rom (ex.: click ) that really mean to the Chinese model is G510-0010 (Dual-Sim), everything goes online. Only I do not really have a Chinese Rom on it (almost all Chinese, no market place, ..).
I hope you can help me. This is my first phone with Android (2 weeks old), so I know not very much and i havn't made a backup
Sorry for my bad englisch (Google translate)

What you need is the oem hack. This way you can backup your current oem partition, flash the hacked one, flash the g510-0200 rom, restore original oem partition.
This will restore your radio.
Check this topic, but use the g510-0200 rom instead of the one in the topic:

Hi, I have the same problem here too, I installed CM 10.2 on my G510-0010, and now there is no sim card recognition on both sim slots.
I tried the manual you posted, but I can't get passed step 2 ("1-imei-backup-windows.bat"), it can't find root access though I gave root permissions to adb and apps.
I also checked root via root checker app and it is rooted.
any ideas ?

In my case, it didn't found any device, but then i tried with another "adb-windows" program and it found it. So I replaced the programm (it is in the folder called "files", and then it worked.
So just replace the "adb-windows" with the following.

It seems that I got my phone bricked. As stated in this post, I was having wifi problems. So I decided to revert to Android 1.6 to test wifi and be able to see if it was a software or hardware problem. I flashed back to 1.6 as described here. Then when trying to boot up the phone, it will just rumble at first and then get stuck at that point with the screen switched on but no logo or anything.
I reflashed again thinking something had gone bad in the first flash, no luck. I then decided to flash to 2.1 global generic, but again the same simptoms. I got scaried so I tried to repair using seus. All the process went well but again when trying to boot it gets stuck.
Please help me if you know what could I do, if not I would have to send it to repair service and go without my x10i for a month
You've posted this in the wrong section I'm afraid, but to answer your question...
I had a similar issue with my 2.1 upgrade.
Downgraded to 1.6 and bricked my phone.
I repaired it as described here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=9206194&postcount=11
I don't know what you've done wrong guys, i just did the "downgrade" thing to my X10 and it worked fine... I did it to add my carrier firmware (Claro Guatemala) since they haven't release the 2.1 update yet...
I used this tool:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/15148882/Para Claro 1.6.rar
In the folder named "1_firmware" place all the files of the firmware you want to flash... Only those like "system.bin" etc DON'T REPLACE ANYTHING IN THERE....
Put your DeviceID in the .txt file and save it....
Then run the RootX10a_v2.cmd (Credits to developers, i just tweeked it a litle)... Select the only available option (1)... Follow the instructions and you'll be set....
You'll have to wait until the process finishes, you'll see in the CMD something like "Press any key to continue" after you do this the CMD will close itself...
The phone will took near to 5 minutes to start, don't be afraid mine took like 7 minutes but it worked fine... I was able to return to Android 1.6.... After that i reflashed againg to Global Generic 2.1 without issues....
You should give it a try...
Regards,
Jim

Man you've saved me!! Thank you, and god bless you with a lovely girl and a cold beer
I still don't know if it is something to do with missing files from the firmware or simply a trial and error thing until you get it done, but it has worked. Now going to test the wifi under 1.6 and if it all goes well I'll flash to AOSP 2.1.

Don't mention it.
I'm glad it worked for you as well.
I've done some testing and I was able to connect using wifi in Android 1.6 but not in 2.1, so I still have problems with that. I've flashed some different 2.1 firms without luck.
What makes no sense is that it looks like a hardware problem, or at least something related to the kernel and the wifi module, but it works in 1.6
Do someone know what are the system programs that run wifi under Android 1.6? Maybe I could try to get those from 1.6 and incept in 2.1.

Well your first issue was you had not done any research before doing anything. Had you, you would know you can't take ota with a custom recovery. It has to be stock. Your only options are to flash a stock rom if one was ever released for the device. If not then you might be out of luck.
How do flash back?

I have moved to the latest 2.05 firmware. Rooted, installed GAPPS, programs, etc. Everything was fine. Until I resetted the device (couldnot find what caused battery leakage recently). After a number of problems (the phone actually became a brick) I managed to get back to 1.26 firmware. BUT on the way I lost IMEI and radio is not working at the moment.
I have a directory Nubia Backup, which contains 3 zip files. I guess they were created by Nubia Updater during several firmware flashes. Can this help some how to restore IMEI? Any ideas, folks? I have flashed maybe 20 units up to now and have never had such problem before.

Hola.
Claro que puedes!!
Solo tienes que conectar tu telefono y abrir nubia updater.
Con el boron secundario del mouse, abres opcion Restorer Y presionas star.
Tu relefono recuperara los IMEI.
Saludos
Raul.
Thank a lot! I've spent so many hours, tried so many programs and nobody could give me this very simple but effective advice! In my case Nubia Updater can only update phone firmware, but I looked into Nubia Updater directory and found there a separate file called Restorer, which did the job!

Of course you do know that it's impossible for an Android to get a virus right?
hlw any one tell me how to root my LG K350 phone
You cannot root Android 6 devices with one click method. Trying those methods will not work
I have an lgk8 and its running 7.0 i cant root it for my life is there eny ways? I tryed kingroot. Kingoroot. Rootmaster. And more lmk plz
There are many of the LG K8 variants which cannot be rooted -- at least at this time. I'll use my own LG K8 (LG VS500pp) for example. First, carrying on with its long-standing tradition, LG has implemented a locked bootloader, with no known exploit or user-end procedure for unlocking it. While a locked bootloader certainly does not prevent a device from being rooted, it does on this particular phone. The locked bootloader prevents the possibility of systemless root -- whereas the SU daemon and corresponding root binaries are installed by way of unpacking, patching, repacking & flashing the modified boot image. So since this possibility is cut short, what about the old system-mode method -- injecting root directly into the Android OS by way of the /system partition? Unfortunately, my LG K8, running Android 6.0.1, has a secured boot image, with AVB 2.0 and dm-verity (Android Verified Boot and device mapping verity). With these features, the boot image performs a checksum on the /system partition for ANY modifications -- even checking whether /system has ever been mounted r/w. If any type of modifications or alteration is found (which would be the case with a system-mode root process), the kernel puts the device into perpetual boot loop, and will not allow the Android OS to boot.
In summary, due to (1) locked bootloader; (2) AVB 2.0; and (3) dm-verity, both systemless and system-mode root methods are eradicated.

This is silly. Really silly. When something is good, dev teams, no matter what company, always have to screw something up.
Yesterday I decided to give a shot from B180 to B390 via OTA and thia is what I got:
Impact effect on camera was really good effect, artistic type. Now it is gone and replaced with sweet or vintage. Both are ugly.
So if anyone is on B180, can you pullout from root - folder etc\camera\filter a filter.xml file and mixlm.dat file and upload it?
Thanks.
Also, I noticed that shortcuts are no more scrollable. Even in edit mode shortcuts that are in "not displayed" cannot be activatd unless moved into "active" part, then activated.
Really stupid, incredible stupid.

Just rollback to b180 if you like it better...

I think I fuked up rollback. Accidentally I did rollback to B180, but some "french" version. Now my baseband (mobile data) is different. Instead of 4G/3G/2G, 3G/2G nad 2 G only options I have some weird ****.
How to fix that?
Wooow, something is really wrong here. Internal memory is 4GB instead of 16????
What kind of firmware I installed???? Heeeellllppppp!!!!

Did you use the rollback firmware and then the b180 firmware?
You can change your baseband directly from a file, but I think you should install again b180..
You may provide a screenshot of what you're talking about and an other from about phone.

Damn. Fixed it during night. Ilt was so frustrating.
So the method was:
Installed rollback file.
Installed B180 after rollback.
And then everything went berserk.
I even tried manually to push img files after Huawei extraction.
Tried other versions of firmwares.
Tried with Huawei Tool from XDA.
Downloaded from UK site version of B180.
Tried again Huawei Tool.
What happened is that I got those weird baseband selection for this area. WCDMA and some weird sh*t. Even vol up+power, instead of giving me factory reset, it gave me option to go to eRecovery.
I just didn't know what else to do. I eventually tried to factory reset from within OS (fimware) and that fixed it.
Don't know how, but it reverted back as it should.
Weird thing is, that in the process of "working, my DCIM/Camera folder disappeared from my SD card. I could recover some photos, luckly there weren't that many since last copy to my PC.
This is the lesson. Never will I move to B3xx firmware. Stupid it is.
