I have tried doing a search but nothing comes up for the vibrant. I tried putting the movie cop out on my phone because i got the digital version with my blu ray. i dragged it to my phone and tried to play it and it dont work. To put the digital version on your computer you only get 2 options either the itunes or windows media player and i have tried both. it is in m4v format. does the vibrant not work with m4v??
Try use rockplayer. It work on everything for me

clicking? like a mouse click? which rom are you running? did you overclock? did you full wipe / clean flash?
its called the ultimate Droid mod/rom by cyanogen. Overclocking, not by much. It is kind of like a mouse click. It almost sounds like a CD skipping click. But they have never done it before and when i pull my SD card and plug it into my computer it works fine
ahh yes... leave it to the newb to go play with stuff and mess with something dumb to mess it up. Hahaha i got it fixed thanks though bro!

is there any music player that doesn't automatically scan all the sd card?
i listen to audiobooks on my phone too and currently using winamp but it lists all the audiobook files as well as the my music tracks which is a bit annoying. tried stock player which has the same behaviour.

why don't you set folder view in winamp...you can select sibgle folder to play
Power Amp. You can select the folder for your mp3 and it will scan only them.

There are other options too.
MIXZING for example it has both the functions that you need.scan a particular folder as well as play by folder.
U can give it a try but nothing beats power amp.using it from a long time.if you can afford it just go for it.
Edit: mixzing is free

unfortunately i can't afford poweramp but I'll give mixzing a try, thanks

well mixzing seemed perfect, love the interface but it doesn't play flac!!! such a pity because it seems a great player apart from that.

i emailed the clean music player dev about it not being able to play flac files received a reply within a day informing me that he is working on it. huge respect to that, looks like it won't be long til clean music player will be my player of choice.

Great
I have the 3.6 player and I have downloaded multiple CDs on my player. Unfortunately, they all show the same album cover. When I ripped these I checked to ensure that each cover came over. How do I correct this in the player?

I know this is for macs but it should give you an idea on what to do. http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=357676 or try this http://androidforums.com/android-media/465674-google-music-duplicates-albums.html just read through the threads. I know this happens to me not only on the Player but on PS3, PC, and my older mp3 player. I think it has something to do with the Album tags.

Music works fine over here...for the most part. The only issues in terms of music after flashing ROMs was that my songs doubled and if I played the doubled version I'd get an error message. I also noticed my music library contains notification sounds and audio from my videos I've taken, a little odd but im still able to listen to music with out any real issues. What are your issues?

I had the same problems, so I would just go back and flash cm9
I founded out when you flash a new ROM and music seems to not play or find. You want to get a file explorer and go on your storage and look for a file that says "No music" and delete it. I did that and now my music play's perfectly
Hope that helped!
