Hi guys,
This is my first Sony smartphone and really like its big screen !!!
However, I have got a lot of issues when connect to my bluetooth headset(either Jawbone era or Jabra supreme)
I can only manage to talk only 5-6 minutes and then i really can't hear the other sides. this problem always occur no matter what i did factory reset.
My current version of firmware is 14.1.B.0.475, still haven't upgrade to latest firmware yet since there still not available in my country.
I am heavily user for making or pick up call, so conversation via bluetooth is a must for me.
Has anyone face this bluetooth issue? and for you guys who update to the latest firmware, is this problem still exist?
Thanks in advance for you guy kindness answer

Hi together i've flashed my phone it's FW few weeks ago to KH3, and it's working awesome, I really enjoy it, so far!
Sadly, my bluetooth headset is not working.
My galaxy2 just can't see/find it.
Thus far, I updated the FW of my headset to the latest version.. But it didn't help.
There is something wrong with the FW on the phone, cause my earlier phone (galaxy 1) worked perfectly with it.
Thanks in advance for for any help in this case, else I have to wait for the next update.

Same Problem on My GS2 with CM7 Nightly
My headset is MW600
it's so annoying, i got one step closer, but it's still not working!
tried several FW's in meantime, even all the exynos rom (by the way it's awesome, if it works ;-))
anyway in meantime I lost the hope that this issue gets solved with 2.3.5!
annoying is that my old galaxy with FW 2.3.3 got absolutely no problems with my headest!
the most depressing thing is, i can see the headset, but when i try to connect to it, it brings back the error that the password is incorrect.. (WTF!!)
(i mean something is **** anyway in this fw! if you turn on the bluetooth and off again, you can't turn it on without reboot! such stupid developers..
i would really be happy if SOE can help me out of here please!
is it possible to get the bluetooth settings from the old environment
I've sent an email to the vendor let's see what happens.

finaly bluetooth and wlan module were broken on my mobile..
Have had my SG2S for about a month now. Everything works great except for the bluetooth.
In my wifes car ('09 BMW 3 series) and in my truck ('11 Ford F150) the phone connects perfectly when I get into the vehicles. The problem is during phone calls. In both vehicles, I get dropped at random from the vehicle during calls. I'm talking on the phone and poof, I'm kicked off. Sometimes I can pick up the phone to continue the call, sometimes there's nothing anywhere?!?
I've reset the phone, I've even changed the phone. The 'store' tells me that they have moved 'LOTS' of these phones and nobody has come back with this complaint. I've also read about manually reseting the bluetooth application in 'running services' in applications... no change there either.
PLEASE for my sanity... can somebody tell me what I'm missing!?!?
I've always had Blackberry's before and have NEVER had this issue.
Any help would be appreciated!!
Thx.
Anybody? Anybody??
Nobody else has had this issue?!?
Bluetooth on the SGS2 has "issues" in some cases.
If your phone is rooted you can try editing /etc/bluetooth/audio.conf and changing the "Master=False" line to "Master=True" then reboot which can help with dropouts.
You could also try just updating your firmware to the newest version you can, but Bluetooth support in Android 2.3 (and earlier obviously) is not very good.

Thanks for the info. My phone, unfortunately isn't rooted. I guess I should looking into that. I have Android Android 2.3.3 according to the phone. Is there another version available?
Please, I would like a help, my SGSII lost the bluetooth comunication, with my Parrot Minikit hands free, when the person call me, finish the call. I need to turn off the SGSII bluetooth, and turn on again for connect.
The problem is random, whem I finish the call in the Parrot, some times don't have problem.
I tried several ROM's (Custon, CM7, CM9), and all had this kind of bug. When I use the same hands free, with my HTC HD Mini work perfect.
Actually I'm using a custon ROM, Android 4.03 (I9100UHLPF I9100VJLP7 I9100ZTOLP4), and I actualized the Parrot Minikit, for the last firmware revision 1.05C, but I have been the issue.
Another day, I tested the SGSII with a Samsung bluetooth phone, model HM1000, and had the same kind of bug.
Thanks, for any idea.
My car stereo bluetooth has also been working very badly since upgrading to ics (disconnections, title of the song isn't displayed anymore, etc). I wish samsung would fix it, was working np under gb...
Conclusion
Well, I conclued the Bluetooth are not compatible, because the specification are diferent, SGSII is 3.0, the Parrot Minikit is 1.2, and the HM1000 is 2.1.

Hi All,
I have an issue with bluetooth connectivity on my new Galaxy s3 and my car. I have been on the Jaguar forums and members have told me they have had no issues and one has suggested...
''Perhaps the stock ROM is the problem? The xda developers Web site has plenty of information on the S3 and custom ROMs; it may be worth a look.''
Basically the issue is that on occasions I get in the car start up drive off and phone connects fine with all phone book/last dialled numbers etc Other times it connects but will not download phone book or last dialled functions...other times it will not even connect and I have to manually go through the touch screen on my car to reconnect...which guess what...sometimes works and sometimes is unsuccesful!
I would dare say I am the least technical person on these boards so wondering if anyone has any advise/instructions on what I can do, or if anyone has encountered similar issues
Hi everyone,
Probably a longshot but here goes.
I have a Plantronics Voyager Legend bluetooth ear-piece. It pairs well and the sound is awesome. Some while ago I started having some problems though that the piece disconnects/drops when I receive or dial out. It's fixed by pushing the 'headset' button again to connect but it's quite irritating that I have to do this everytime. I have tried a lot of roms and kernels without avail. Most of them just made the bluetoothproblem worse or made the bluetooth fail totally. I am now running ArchiDroid V1.7.18 with boeflla kernel and it's the same problem as I had with original Stock.
Anyone else had this problem? Haven't had the opportunity to try with any other bluetooth device in case it's the plantronics that's the problem. Is there an app that can keep the connection alive even when I get calls?
I am suspecting that this might be a hardware problem but hope is the last thing that leaves us
Seems to be a lot of bluetooth-problems for the S3 if you look at the search-results but my particular problem don't seem to be mentioned what I've seen.
Thanks in advance.
