my keyboard disappeared all of a sudden yesterday. now i have to input everything by drawing. when i go into settings for keyboard, there is no place to uncheck the 'handwriting' option. how do i get it back? thanks

Hi, I can't get scandanavian keyboard working. It is installed and on 'Settings' I have selected it, but when I go to write a sms or an email it doesn't come up. Anyone got it working?
Long-press on any input field, go to Input Method, select your KB.

So I rooted my Atrix the other day and it's now running version 1.57. Everything is running smoothly expect for 2 things. First, the text messaging. When I receive a text, I'll be notified, but I'll go to the default app and it'll just be an orange circle rotating like it's trying to load. I figured it might just be the app so I installed Handcent and GO SMS Pro...same thing...my notifications will pop up, but when I go to my inbox or to a list of my previous texts I received, NOTHING IS THERE. How in the world do I fix this? I tried looking for a "Default Application" setting thinking that maybe I can clear the default one that came with the phone, maybe that's the issue, but I have no idea where or how to change that setting. The customization I once had on the Android OS seems to be gone.
Also, when I installed the ADW Launcher, I noticed it gave me a completely new keyboard, which is fine and all, but the default keyboard that came with the Atrix would actually rotate with the screen and become bigger if you turned the Atrix sideways...I'm trying to figure out how to get it back or change this setting as well.

For some reason, my Samsung Keyboard is not working properly. When I swype, I see the lines moving across the letters but no text pops on the screen. Also when typing, I'm not getting the predictive text and spell checking is not working. The top area says predictive text area, but nothing shows up there.
I've tried resetting settings, clearing data on "Samsung Keyboard".
I know I can install a different keyboard, but I want to get this working.
More recently I have:
Rooted, CWM
reverted to a Nandroid backup.
Frozen some things in TiBu but nothing related to keyboard, samsung...
Any ideas?
Seems like its been fixed after reflashing the lastest tar in the Dev forum...the one with Root that doens't trip counter.
I want to use another keyboard, however when I go into settings the stock keyboard and swipe are grayed out (I cannot deselect them). I can check the new keyboard, but if I reboot it becomes unchecked and the keyboard reverts to the stock keyboard or the swipe keyboard.
Does anyone have a solution to this?
I'm not having that error. Mine has the stock keyboard and ICS grayed out as well, but my other keyboard stays checked as default upon reboots.

i installed go keyboard and now ive uninstalled it again and when i open my default keyboard without typing anything i have a blank bar just above it where the menu for go keyboard use to be. ive tried to restart but that didnt help. can anyone help its driving me crazy
