anyone knows how to fix the walkman?
i mean it plays partly of the song then skip to next song or sometimes it have been remix with the other songs on my cp.
experiencing this problem since official ICS rom..
i faced the same prob from when im using jb!
so i decided to use my old lovely app!POWERAMP!
if u need i can share!
Personally, I use Play Music, but the Walkman app is nice too. Does it do this for all songs?

no mate, some of the songs only. specially the ones put in the SD card compared to the internal memory which i download using the phone itself.
You could try to flash some new port of walkman....

Use this thread and download player and install.(this will replace your default music player because makesure you have a backup on your old music player).read thread fully with quotes and install the addisional files if you need.this player works fine with sk17i but didn't tested in x10 so you can test it.

Why dont u first read the thread I linked.yes I am talking about the player which supports lock screen control and nothification bar controls.just try it.if it not works just mension me.I will give u orginal xperia mini pro music player with those supports.this player is more interesting.because I have told u first to try this.

I dont know what u guys talking about.because using my pc it seems there is no any sign of closing thread.ok I have another solution.if u want try this.just upgrade your music player to this thats all.otherwise I think closing this thread will be the best option.

'Thread closed' I believe was a joke as in he thinks doubletwist is the best and only solution to lockscreen music player so there is no point talking about anything else.
Personally I think you will find "Player pro" from the android market WELL worth the $4 price tag. It is leaps and bounds ahead of doubetwist especially for use on the lockscreen, it makes my phone look like a significantly more expensive handset.

the lack of eq is strange for a branded player like that (was expecting a bit more) but the feel is more definitely more in line with ICS than the default player with its corner bubbles and all.
IMO the bubbles thing doesn't work with ICS at all - the sony software sticks out really bad and just decided I'm gonna go make a thread about it...

PS- i suggest trying open source vanilla music player. It also works with the new lockscreen and has widgets that work in other launchers too. I'm having some trouble with album artwork with it though so would be happy for other peoples opinons on it...

I'm pretty sure this thing is my fault, but please excuse me, I'm really new to this custom rom things. And I'm new here too, so only allowed to post here. I tried to solve by myself, but didn't find anything. So my problem is, I used this Icecream purness V3 rom, than I updated it to V4. But in this rom I cannot find the widget for the music player. So the first question is that, where is it? Can I download it from somewhere? And in the thread of that rom, in the second or third comment, there are some pictures about optional themes, and there are a different music player. Where can I get that player too (as you can see on these images, there are widget for these too)? I think this player was in the V3, and I miss it.

Unfortunately Apollo doesn't feature on the Play Store, so it's a very tricky app to integrate. Hopefully we can add it in the future though :victory:

Looks like a neat app, I'll probably check it out once I manage to un-break my phone (tried updating rom, broken radio on new version, S-On making my life a living hell to revert and the dev of the rom constantly releasing new things makes me want to try them, so torn). Is Themer a sort of Launcher in itself?

Yep dude...... it's a launcher!
After a while from trying poweramp I find it to be a lot better that Apollo music player

well my stock rom lag. i wanna flash a new custom rom. which rom is smooth for our star? jelly kat developed by insomaniacdev or T3 Rom 2? the first one i try to install is jelly kat but the fix.zip link is dead and i am not sure to take a risk..if there is a one who can give me this fix.zip. i will sure move to this rom. well, i think aclec rom is good, but the link is closed? whoa, which custom rom will i use, i need help.
btw one of the reason i wanna use a custom rom is that when i play mp3 music it lag a lot, even i try a different player....i need to fix this....

then ill try to convert the cwm backup into a flashble zip:laugh::laugh::laugh:
and make it a rom
but first i need to make the experience exactly like kitkat

by the way you don't need the whole cwm backup to make a rom..
just adb pull the system.. add backup scripts to /system/bin.. take META-INF folder from other compatible rom... modify update-script.. zip the system and META-INF.. cwm flashable rom created..

soory for late reply; my account is temporary lock for a little while..now i use t3romv2. this rom is so good but complicated. no camera app include, hmmm...many other apps dont work, gapps always forced close... also my music laging problem still exist... but battery comsuming is so much better. im so excited to test cm 10 for our star... anyway thanks to all of you

music lag is app prob
get other app like poweramp and it will be gone
update google play services and gapps problem will be gone

thanks for the kind reply from you.. i really need to get rid of my music problem. if the music problem is solved, i dont care about the other problem... i am a music lover..
ps. we dont need two dialer, please remove one dialer and contact in the future update...is it save to uninstall the stock dialer? well accoreding to keyboard, if you use xperia keyboard it will be better.. anyway i like your rom...

i had already update google play service but still happen.
the music issue i said is not app prob, i had tried many music player like playerpro, poweramp, google play music, musixmatch, zplayer, etc, etc.. but the music is still lag. sometimes i thought it ia a hardware prob...

U cant remove stock dialer it is the main screen when u call somebody
If i remove stock contacts then u will not be able to make new contacts.
U can freeze those apps and see
Anyway Like me u can just hide those apps in nova launcher and be happy
Okay ill add xperia keyboard in the zip
Im just a lazy guy otherwise i wud hv made the zip long time ago
Today i will definitely upload

thank you for clarifying my problem, i believe it is the hardware problem now. a few minutes ago i play my mp3 using mx player it plays so good without lagging. but when i click lock button, the music starts to lag. i think its the background running problem but not the player problem
..well i need to download all my music in video...

No, It can't be done. Miui apps are interconnected to each other, so its is difficult to separate a single app from other apps. Even if you do successfully separate the music app from other apps it still won't work without em.
