hi good ppl of Xda... im wondering if this caller can be fullscreen caller image.. its just half image, half black pic thigy... can i make it fullscreen image the ppl who call... im sorry if bad eng... i hope u all understand and can give solution... currently in Carbon Rom v1.8 Dorimax latest...
can change the phone.apk or...... thx in advanced... and i dont want to use 3rd party apps, if possible... please help...

there are some apps you can use, like full caller id, which shows fulls screen photo, widgetlocker, which changes the entire locker screen, and you can use Milocker and use some of the MIUIs locker screens without having the rom
not working .. its change the Lock screen only ... i want to change the answer slide with other slides styles

Hi all,
I installed MIUI 2.4.28, wow it is grate as of now. i can see everything has been changed. but the default caller id (when u make a call, default SE black screen) is alone black. It is not match with the ROM !!!.
Can i able to change that default style of caller ID on MIUI ROM ???

Im sorry for not having some introdution as a newbie but actually i have a big problem need u guys to help me. Im using samsung galaxy mini with Gingerbeard 2.3.4 rooted. Then i used a Metamorph to change the theme and the dialpad of Contact list also Notification bar. But when i did that, i didn't back up the system Contact.apk also NotificationBar.apk whatever it is. And then, the theme that i've tried to change hasnt been changed but i can't see the contacts list and the notification bar. I've tried every way i can but i really need you guys now. Please tell me how to make these apk so as i can continue using it ( otherwise it just simply a brick i guess ). And can you guys tell me how to change the dialing pad, contact list and notification bar like this one : http://forum.xda-developers.com/archive/index.php/t-1508953.html . I was Looking for the Phone app with full screen caller picture for Cm7. I found the different way of modding phone apk's.
Replaced the two files call_card.xml and call_card_person_info.xml which makes the full screen caller picture.
and it looks Gr8 , the call screen.
I have not done anything on My own. All credit Goes to the Original Devs
I Just wanted to Share with others who dont know about these gr8 Mod. :highfive:
And I need a little help. Please Guys Help on a few things.
1. Remove the Blue bar under the Caller Name & number.
2. Align the Caller name & number to the left side instead of right.
3. Reduce the Font size of Caller Name and Number.
4. Can those tabs around the add call, end call, etc be made transparent.

I am not a dev So dont really know what values to edit in xml to makes these changes .
Please can someone help ..

I'm not a dev, too, so I'm not sure if I will be of some help - but this comes with a very good timing as I've just tried out one of those fullscreen apps and I'm finding it's just too heavy for our little Willy...
I've also thought about tweaking the original files but I'm a bit too short on time only to have a look at it...
But good to know someone started workin on it

Yeah. I know our buzz not able to handle those apps. I tried that too. Call screen and dialer was the only reason which forces me to use the sense roms. Now with this modded phone app . I am using cm7 and its working gr8 without any errors. But little few more tweaks will make it gr8 . Hope some one gonna help us.
Feel free to use the apk I hv attached its working flawlessly without any problem. :thumbup:

thx, unfortunately my current ROM (LeWa) has a different phone.apk - probably I will have a look what you changed (is it all in the XML file?)
--- EDIT --- is this the modded apk of the 7.2 stable?
I didn't changed anything . I just picked those two xmls and replaced the original ones in phone/res/layout .
I just replaced the xml files in phone.apk . Yes It is only for cm7.2 m not sure though. I hv used it with cm7.2 stable build and now using it with nightly built.

No you can't do that(assuming your phone is not rooted). Even with the root, I don't think there's an easy way to change the size of just one icon. There's the LCD Density Modder app in the PlayStore to change the density of the entire screen, but it requires root!
As said above you cannot resize the icon (without going deep in apk modding) because android will resize the icons no matter what is the resolution it will resize it to the basic resolution (default).
