Hi to all community, I am having a pretty serious problem with my device (xperia mini pro 17i, Locked bootloader, Rooted, upgraded to Ics and later to Zelly bean pro 2.0, O2 uk carrier) and I have searched everywhere without finding any solution.
Since I bought the phone I am having a lot of sd card reading issues up to the point that I had to remove the battery\card and reinsert them 3-4 times per day (8gb class 4) .
I thought the problem was in my corrupted sd card which I replaced with a Sandisk 32gb class10 but I still had the same issues. The worst of all is that once or two times per month almost all my folders apart from the system and app folders are being wiped out. I tried to recover them but with no luck.
Things went much better when I replaced ICS with zelly bean , I had almost zero issues with my sd card (maybe only once per day), but today and after a couple of restarts all my folders where gone again (almost 20gb of pictures and music).
Have you ever had any issue like this ?
Xperia mini pro
Rooted
Zelly Bean 2.0

Hey,
It is a strange issue and I didn't face such an issue before but if I were u, I will do the following..
1- Backup data on SD card.
2- Format SD card.
3- Install CWM through X-Parts or wherever you want.
4- Wipe all data "Even Dalv. Cache".
5- Connect phone to PC Companian and start "Repair Phone".. It will install the official software from the begining without any root premissions.
6- Root the phone again.
7- Download Titanium Backup from Play Store to fix permissions of root.. Nothing else.
8- Backup the offiicial ROM with CWM... Cause it is the best from my point of view.
9- Install your favoriate ROM.
10- Restore your data on your SD card and plug it again in your device.
I wish it will help you man.. Good luck
That's exactly what i didand I hope i will not have any further issues, wiped everything and formatted the sd card, installed official gb rom, rooted then upgraded to ics and flashed the zc rom with all the other updates , if that fails too then I am afraid that it is a hardware issue.
I have an p690 and i've tried some roms like (gingerblurb (stable), miui, joy os (iphone style rom), xperia rom, aokp cyan 2,3,7(stable)) and the problem is with ICS (cyan mod 9 znofficial) rom keeps showing me a messages like "sd car unexpectedly removed" or "sd card damaged" and i get the same message for JellyShame. Can anyone help me with this?
The problem seems to be solved! [the problem its my sd card not the rom (im running an 2 gb sd card :| )]

After I update to Jelly Bean, the sdcard scanning is very slow even after the first scan. It was great in ICS. Can anyone suggest solution other than buying a new card?
I have not this problem on lg. Try an hard reset..
after jb update i had it too.it was taking 20 minutes nearly. i backed up my extsdcard then formatted from phone, now it's faster but not like on ics.
Hi,
I am keep trying the JB ROMs for XPeria Sola, but all of them having issue with external SD Card. But only Stock GB (184) ROM is the only one having no issue with the external SD card. Even Stock ICS (.54) having the same issue. I have tried all governor/IO Scheduler combination but nothing is worked. I have tried the same G/IOS combination from GB in JB ROM but that also not worked :crying:.
Then i compared the apps running and noticed the crash monitor app is not running in JB ROMs even though it is present in system/app
Is there anybody having JB ROM noticed this? Or is it only for me? Or will Crash monitor solve my SD card reboot issue? If so how can i make it running in my JB ROMS???
Hey there,
I'm using Galaxy S2 (GT-I9100) on Android 4.1.2 (not rooted).
Last few weeks my phone continually tells me that I'm running low on internal memory. So I deleted some apps until it was fine, and stopped the auto update for all apps. And yet today I got this annoying alert again. So I was assuming that there is something growing there under the hood...
Could somebody help me to fix this problem?
Thanks
