Hello I remember that some months ago, it was said that the RAZR had native :
1080p - 30fps
720p - 60fps
480p - 120fps
Video recording.
You could even enable it in the build.prop. However, nothing happened. Only a slow mo feature appeared on the camera, which didn't record at slowmo.
Now that we have KEXEC, the ability to have custom kernel, can we enable these camera features?

Quick question. Z2 superior auto is recording at 30fps 1080p or 60fps 1080p. Want to know that because if records 30fps 1080p I should better go to manual mode and record 60fps 1080p or?
i don't think it matters in normal use however id record in [email protected] fps just so i can have some space if i need to edit

I recorded in superior auto mode, yes it is 30fps 1080p but video looks better because it chooses scene automatic when I move camera (moving and recording) and it consumes less MB, also I can watch it in slow motion on video edit and not need to edit anything else. On manual 60fps 1080p I cant't choose scene or anything else.
one of the phones i own is a DOOGEE BL7000 camera is decent and phone is phone should be able to film 30fps no problem in 1080p but no matter if i use stock camera app of one from the app store where i can change the fps it still only records at 10fps in 1080p and 30fps Variable stays around 12fps to 27fps in 720p what can i do? to get constant 30fps? at 1080p
just found this video that was rec with this phone and its doing 1080p 30fps
also i can only seem to use the top camera lens on the back and have no idea how to switch to the bottom one looked all over the camera app can't see any way to change camera
bump
Is there any mod to enable it force it. Or does xiaomi have any plans bringing it via updates?
you can use open camera to get 4k in front camera , always you can active EIS 4k in back camera

Eis is not working at the back whether you switch it on or not @4k

you can compare open camera when you switch on/off EIS in 4K , i think EIS in 4K work but not too smooth. you can handle your phone to stabilitation with EIS ON in 4K to take a video. goodluck ^_^
4K in front camera with OPEN CAMERA ,its perfect you must set fps 25/30, and framerate :200 mb, EIS off, and don't shot in lowlight thats very noisy
if you have root and use camera API ,you got 4K with EIS ,it look better than before. but crash to front camera..
im sorry for my english
I've got another question. Is there a way to make gcam able to record 4k video?
gcam only focus on photos , not video .. but you can get 4k by gcam oldes apk its have default setting and you can adjust by yourself
I just got my Galaxy S10 Lite, and i tried 4k 60fps video recording, it seems stutter a lot or fps drop when i'm pointing to the dark areas, same thing with 1080p 60fps, but when i tried 60 fps recording with front camera there's no stutter. In mean time i will stick with 30fps recording until it fix.
Anyone experience this? I hope samsung fix this in the next patch.
Hi, with my Pixel 6, camera UI is so laggy when I open the Camera app. For quick video record mode (hold shutter button), the output video is just unacceptable.
For Video 60fps, no matter it is Full HD or 4K, if you move the phone horizontally, laggy happens on both UI and Video recorded. 60fps videos recorded by Pixel 6 cannot even be compared to Iphone 11's one
Does anyone experience the same?
Here is Quick record video
