I've enabled Hotspot Mode in Widget Locker so that I add an app for each button and it worked but now I cannot edit the UCCW Widget. Prior to enabling this mode, when I tap on the widget a screen comes up that gives me the options to edit objects, their sizes, etc. but now when I tap on the widget nothing happens except the apps open up but I want the settings to edit the sizes and such. I assume if I disable Hotspot Mode it will work again but I have no idea how to disable it.
EDIT: Never mind. I was able to turn off Hotspot by adding a UCCW widget, choosing 'New', then tapping the options panel.

Hi Folks,
Have Widget locker and enjoying it.. i have the home button disabled, and can add shortcuts to apps etc to the lock screen - what i want to do though is change the default sliders - one is fine - its slide right to unlock - left to change sound/virbrate/silent.
the bottom slider is right to camera on - (thats grand) but left or press to change brightness options - id like to get rid of the brightness option and maybe add in a shortcut to an Led torch application.. when i open widget locker in Tool mode is says to drag/drop things around.. but it wont let be alter or drop the bottom slider into the 'remove' trash can..
Any help appreciated.
Cheers,
Mick
add a new slider and on the slider chooser screen slide the tab you want to change across and it should give you the choice to change it to whatever you want
got it thanks..
Hi Folks,
One more query - is there anyway to get notifications on the lock screen with Widget locker? messages/calls/application notifications?
Cheers,
Mick
You can get an app called MissedIt! which allows you to add these to Widget Locker.
Having a small but annoying issue here.
I find that if I turn on wifi with widgets or quickpanel in SystemUI, the wifi will take very long, or sometimes never auto connect. However, opening up settings and pressing scan results in instant connection.
Thanks in advance.
I don't have your issue and I use a notification panel created by the Power Toggles. (this was not an advertising message)
Try to create a shortcut to the WI-FI settings by:
- long press on 'desktop'
- select 'Shortcuts'
- scroll to the 'Settings shortcut', click on it;
- scroll to the 'Wi-Fi'
I know this is not so fancy like a widget or another setting app, but should be more quickly to access and I think is a workaround for your issue.
Hi,
I'm looking for a widget that allows me to change multiple setting at one click.
For example, when I touch the widget, it sets brightness to 0%, turns off wi-fi and data.
There are plenty.. One which i like personally is Power Toggles.. It can be used as a notification widget or a normal widget..
So I just set up nova, ive used it for nearly every phone. My question is, how can I get the double tap screen on and off back? The original LGG3 launcher has that and ive grown accustomed to it. Ive looked in activities and tried a couple different things like monitor activity, but that just disabled the monitor to where I needed to pull the battery. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Install an app called "screen off and lock." Then you'll be able to set the double tap gesture to "screen off" in Nova's settings.
I've used that app and it works great. If you already use greenify you can goto gestures in Nova and select doubletap and the choose greenify screen off/hibernate shortcut or use that screen off app.
Thanks guys, the app worked great
If you dont want to install and app you can double tap on the notification bar
I actually ended up deleting the app and using greenify
I haven't tried on Nova yet, but using Google Now Launcher double tab on lock screen still works. Double tab the status bar on the homescreen locks the device.
Try double tapping the status bar?
Basically what the title said, I wanted to add the mobile hotspot widget to the floating bar so I can just toggle it on/off without opening the app. Any one know if/how this can be done?
Doesn't look like it can be done. You can't even add one of the app shortcuts that appears when you long press an app icon on your home screen. I'm still trying to figure out what apps I'd actually throw in there as I already have the icons for my most used apps on my home screen.
