Have you tried 3G and Wifi?
Despite otherwise claims by Skype/Microsoft, the protocol is quite easy to detect and block in case your carrier doesn't like Voip.
On another note, Skype doesn't work reliably for me on either mobile phones or desktops: keeps loosing connection or not seeing online contacts.
Yes. I have tried wifi, 3g. Still no connecting.
I have read thet people have problems with galaxy 9300 and skyoe. But cyanogen solved problems for them. For me not
I have even tried chanogen jelly bean. Still not connecting.
Internet is ok. Strong and good signal. Strange.
Maybe someone has anh ideas?

As above. There's an option in more settings beneath bluetooth to provide wifi hotspot using your phone's network connection. Set that up, and connect your pc to the hotspot.
It would only give you the speed you can get on your phone though. No broadband connection but usable.

No mobile internet connection after some wifi-time

Hey guys,
I have a problem with my internet connection. After staying in a wifi-area and being connected for a few hours, my phone won't automatically connect to the mobile internet. When this happens I have to turn on Airplan-Mode and turn it off again in order to make it work.
It's kind of annoying. Can anyone help me? =)
Thanks

AW: No mobile internet connection after some wifi-time
I had the same problem with different devices. I think this is a o2 Germany problem. I use a S3 (4.1.2), a S2 (4.1.2) and a Galaxy Tab 8.9 (4.0.4), all this devices doesn't connect to the mobile network after wifi connection.

Might be the problem... but I never had this problem with my old Nexus S (4.1.2) on the o2 Germany network. I'm confused
I solved the problem using WifiFixer Free app in the play store .
Now everything is fine

[Q] Mobile Network Setting

I've just upgraded my GT-P7510 to Android 4.04
I want to install a USB Internet Dongle, but this version of Android doesn't have 'Mobile Networks' available in the Wireless and Networks Settings, so I can't install the Dongle
How do I enable 'Mobile Networks' so that I can get my USB Internet Dongle working.
Is there a later version of Android 4 for the GT-P7510 with Mobile Network support and where can can I get it from
Many thanks

The issue is not with the version of Android but with the variant of the device. P7510 means WiFi only tablet without 3G capability and therefore no mobile network settings.
Cheers.

Hi John
I found this out yesterday from another member and can't believe that 3G isn't a standard feature.
Is there an application that will give me 3G Networking, I was reading that XDA Senior Member Bhaskar1109 had figured out a way of bypassing this incompatibility, allowing for any 3G broadband dongle to connect to any rooted Android tablet, would this still apply to a non-3G version of the tablet.
Thanks
Regards
Steve
You know there are 2 versions of galaxy tab 10.1 right? The P7510, which is the WiFi ONLY version and the P7500, which is the WiFi + 3g version. You currently have the P7510, which does not have a modem. If you want to use 3g, then you have to get the P7500. AFAIK there is no way to bypass this incompatibility. If there is such a thing, why would people even buy the 3g version then?
