It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

op updated with the new kernel, all apps from market work now. Thanks Maxwen
Installed ROM.
When I try to enter Contacts, get an error "Se ha detenido el proceso android.process.acore." English "android.process.acore has stopped" or something like that.
Wifis can be seen, but doesn't connect.
Reboot... And "Se ha detenido la aplicación Contactos" -> "contacts aplication has stopped"

works fine here, did you full wipe coming from whichever rom you came from....Wifi works perfectly, i use this rom myself. Did you use the boot.img i linked in the op?? as that's the ONLY ONE for this rom
I had the same problem when I switched from AOKP 4.2.1 to CM10.1. I think it had somoething to do with the version of the contacts database. AOKP had 1 version higher and in the logcat there were errors that it couldn't convert it to the lower version that cm10.1 uses.
neither of you are giving me a logcat and i cannot replicate it
Uninstalled CM10.1 and Installed AOKP 4.2.1
Read Lloir comments here (Im sure I used Boot image here, and all wipes except Storage)
Uninstalled AOKP 4.2.1 and Installed CM10.1
Now Contacts are fine. No "android.process.acore" error.
In the first startup, saw Wifis but didnt connect
Reboot. Now Wifi connects ok.
So, now is fine. The same smooth Nexus4 was (I had it 3 weeks)
I dont know how to get a logcat.
I will learn it, to try to help.
Thanks. This Room is smooooooth... Nexus 4 smooth in Hox+ hardware

the easiest way it to download 'alogcat' from the market.
It's actually very easy to use.
I could reproduce wifi bug:
When power on with wifi active, Wifi cant connect.
Switch Off wifi, Switch On wifi again, and then it works.
Im going to download alogcat, thanks.
cleaned.
Questions about other devices do not belong here.
Finally 10.1 ('monitoring' situation each day on bbq/gerrit), great work LLOIR
I wonder if there's a chance to get camera working in this ROM, it works on AOKP (Android 4.2.1 version) so just sayin'...
I 'lived my life' with HTC One S and all its cyan knees were worn out with either partially working camera (which got to usable state too late in the process) or not working at all (hard to fix on current 10.1 HTC One S branch due to big jump in kernel by HTC and new memory mapping of Android - the guys are trying though). So having one that can at least take the picture (don't need video much) from the start of my HTC One X+ usage would be great...time to use those 64GB init?
i know full well camera works on AOKP it's a complete different source tree, i'm not going to frankenrom CM just so a few things work.

If we stumble onto an issue, you want us to send the report?
Update: Been using it for a little under 3 hours, with a mix of Wi-Fi and can confirm that Data works in San Antonio Texas, it's been amazing. After everything settled in and downloaded all my apps, I installed TricksterMod to use the Interactive Governor, it runs very smooth. In addition, will confirm that both SMS & MMS Text messaging works, and Wi-Fi Tethering works. Thank you SO Much LLoir and everyone who is working on this. It really is amazing. I can't say that enough. Okay, just got done trying my Bluetooth headset, audio on games works as for music as well, but alas sadly not for calls, however, I am going to try a wired headset to see if that works.

yes please ALL bugs, please make sure you have the xda 2013 theme on (bottom left corner on the site) so you can see the bug report tab. Also you will be able to see the Q&A section CM10.2 ATT thread, where you can ask questions
all questions should go to that section please
thanks
Data/WiFi working great (no lte here so can't test), messaging too, and whole ROM seems to be running very smoothly. Almost faster than stock I'd say and the phone seems to run at about the same temperature - though not as hot as usual when using a lot of data. Didn't encounter any unmentioned bugs and not had any crashes in my day of use, seems pretty stable. Nice job Lloir, honestly the only thing keeping me from using this is the call/audio issue. You've got an awesome start here, thanks for all the hard work!
guys please use the Q&A section or even the review tab (you need the XDA 2013 theme on)

Old builds: http://goo.im/devs/Alberto96/Wave/nightly/
Slim Google Apps: http://d-h.st/users/ZordanKV/?fld_id=28623#files (Remember that GAPPS makes phone slower )
Installation
- First time flashing CM11 to your Wave? Bada 2.0 is required
Enter Bada Settings->General->Memory and make sure you have at least:
430MB of free "System" memory
160MB of free "User" memory
650MB of free "Applications" memory
Extract zImage from zip and copy it to the Bada's User partition (the one about 390MB big) or to your MicroSD.
Copy the ROM zip to your MicroSD (sdcard0) or to the Bada's User partition (sdcard1)
Flash BOOTFILES, armlinux_boot for your device using Multiloader:
for S8500:
https://github.com/Alberto96/androi...andard/prebuilt/FBOOT_S8500_b2x.fota?raw=true
for S8530:
https://github.com/Alberto96/androi...andard/prebuilt/FBOOT_S8530_b2x.fota?raw=true
(please pay attention if it's S8500 or S8530 BOOTFILES and FOTA you're choosing!):
Reboot the phone holding Power and Call key
FOTA set of red messages should appear, after about 15seconds Badadroid logo shows up
Be patient, first bootup will keep unresponsible on Badadroid logo for up to 5 minutes
When CWM Recovery starts, pick:
"install zip"
"choose zip from /storage/sdcard1" (if your ROM's zip is on the Bada's User partition)
or
"choose zip from /storage/sdcard0" (if your ROM's zip is on the MicroSD)
"cm-11--UNOFFICIAL-wave.zip"
"Yes - Install cm....."
Optionally install the Google Addon using the same method (step 8)
Reboot holding the Power/End Call key
- Upgrading from another build of CM11?
Do a Nandroid Backup!
Note: CWM Flashing does overwrite zImage. So you don't need to replace zImage every time you upgrade
Install the ROM from sdcard using ClockworkMod Recovery (first procedure, step 8)
Notes
Do not remove zImage file.
Normal bootup is available using Power+Call keys
CWM Recovery mode is available using Power+Call+Volume Up keys
Known Issues
Please do not report bugs if it is already listen in the list of known issues
Network registration don't work with some SIM cards
Conference Calls not supported yet
Some problems with audio codec settings, but generally it should work correctly
Impossible to shut down phone in Android, only restart
Wave 2 Display Driver is a bit buggy (do not ask for a fix in this thread!)
Reporting Bugs
You are allowed to report bugs only in this thread. Before reporting a bug, please make sure you are running as stock as possible. This means no custom kernel, no custom framework modification, etc. If you are using any of the above modifications, please flash the rom again to get rid of the modifications before reporting.
REPORT BUGS IN THIS THREAD ONLY
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. The following is a useful format to follow. Note: If you can provide the latest night/build that the bug didn't exist, it would greatly help in tracking down what caused it.

Where are "Performance" and "Developer Options" categories?
To activate Performance and Developer Options categories in Settings you need to tap 7 times on Build number located into Settings->About Phone.

Why is there no transparent status bar/lockscreen widget/"OK Google"?
Those features have been disabled by Google for low RAM device in order to save RAM. You can try enabling it by removing "ro.config.low_ram=true" from /system/build.prop, however, it is not an officially supported setup.
Does this ROM support FM radio?
I've checked and the new FM API in CM is not really compatible with our device without heavy modification. Applications using the new API expect to be able to read the FM input as it if were another stream, but FM on our device only does pass-through from FM receiver to speaker/headset, which causes certain functionalities to not work such as volume control. Maybe one can modify the audio routing table in the kernel to have it behave like the API expected, but I'm not really interested in investing time to do that.
TL;DR: No built-in FM radio except if someone else does it and submits a patch.
Use Spirit FM Radio (remember to run "insmod /system/lib/radio-si4709-i2c.ko" in terminal/adb shell) at your own risk!
Changelog

New kernel (zImage) for CM11 in attachments (remove the ".img" extension). Boot time reduced a lot
My father gave me his Wave and now i'm working on it (i was the GearKernel developer for Galaxy S I9000).
See my github for changes: https://github.com/Alberto96/android_kernel_samsung_wave
You need to replace manually the Wi-Fi Module (bcmdhd.ko) in /system/lib/modules to make it working (since i changed many things in the kernel)
Module is in attachments (remove the ".img" extension). Then chmod it (777 / rwrwrwx)

The boot time is reduced but the WiFi is not turning ON.
I manually replaced the zImage and the bcmdhd.ko and rebooted. Now the WiFi doesn't even switch on.

Hi Alberto96,
It's good to see many developers are joining in BadaDroid project.
It will be good if you put additional features to your kernal which are not present in Volk's ROM(Such as double tap to wake) or optimize the ROM more.
Then we will have 2 ROMs..one is standard CM ROM developed by Volk's(always best) and your multi features rom.(Just a suggestion )
Anyways,Thanks and keep it up.
Regards,
Waveguru

Your first optimization but super optimization.
Volk's rom is super but very bad performance too laggy.
But your optimization is better
Thanks :victory:
@Fragerr maybe it's just your english, but please let us be careful with the comments that could sound rude to the developer.
Never forget guys who do you owe your respect and love for porting Android to Bada phone and show it please....

@Fragerr, Alberto96's work is surely appreciated but that doesn't mean you can make snide remarks on other developers. Not cool.
IF some changes does not remove any fonctionality or decrease stability, why not merging it with main badadroid project ? It would be better for all users...
If it does, yes, better create a new thread
And maybe Volk and Rebell have an opinion on the question

I can't test Mobile Data since my secondary SIM Card isn't anymore working (expired -_-).
Wait for new kernel release
EDIT: http://goo.im/devs/Alberto96/Wave/kernels/20140224//zImage (let me know if all works as should)

Alberto96, i saw your commit on github, wi-fi worked before, because we have loading of bcmdhd.ko in init, i loaded tun.ko via adb and mobile data was working, so i pointed on it. I think now should work.
I am not sure that i want to see all your changes in my ROM, but i think it will be better to create separate thread with ROM and kernel, anyway i am glad to see new developers here. i will take needed changes when will have some free time to test. I am not sure that it is OK to disable SELinux and etc...
Regards
Nikolay
Just wiped /system and tested whole rom :
Data OK
GPS OK
Wifi OK

Thank you for taking the time to make this ROM! Does it include the latest LX and CM changes? I'm asking because I had problems with VIber on the latest LX build, but they seem to be fixed on the build that hasn't been released yet?
EDIT: when I click on the download I get only the coconut version? Do you have builds for other MDPI phones?
Well it's a little bit not actual as LX (I haven't got gerrit merge access to device tree), but the most of bugs was solved.

Unfortunately nightlies aren't enabled yet although I have tried to contact omni devs a lot of times since July. Last answer was that they were going to be enabled soon but still nothing.
I'm sorry but I give up on this, L is so close and I don't have the time to work on these devices anymore, they probably can't handle L properly anyway.

I'm not sure I understood you correctly, you are stopping CM development for MDPI devices? Or you won't be developing android L for MDPI?
Well, if L will have higher minimum hw requirements then probably we will stop developing roms for xperia 2011 until google/CM/omni will end support for android KitKat.

Both. I have no free time to maintain & build for 11 devices, there are known bugs that can't/won't be solved so there is no point in continuing this.
There is almost no external development help, understandable because they are 3 year old devices now and all the known devs have moved to new phones.
Latest builds can be considered as 'stable'. I will continue supporting LX until cm11 development is stopped. At the moment I am left with no testing device, so no new builds.
I'm not even thinking about L on these devices. Let's wait a few months to see how heavy it is compared to kitkat and then we can re-examine.
@mikeioannina
Well, I still have neo v for main phone

I'm using 20142810 build,I have to flash supersu.zip to have root access, other than that, this rom is very smooth.
Thanks dev.
Using the 1028 nightly.
some graphical glitches on instagram
offline charging not working correctly.I think this commit can help somehow https://gerrit.omnirom.org/#/c/9923/
Also tried OTA updating to 1029 nightly and it seems to work correctly(except the known kernel updating problem)
On build 1029 coconut backlight button always ON even if the screen is off, and can't find options to add quickpanel toggle, only enable - disabled there.

About backlight button, setting>advance. I'm on 1028 build and the setting>advance let me turn off the backlight button.
I DO NOT OWN THE ROM.
The developer of this rom is kumajaya on MIUI forum and thanks to him for his work.
MISSION:
Embarrass Xiaomi because refuse to release Redmi 2 kernel source
BUG:
Before you install this ROM, check your device magnetic sensor. Currently YAS537 not supported!
Still under development, built from sources, no hidden sources, not a binary dirty hack ROM
The following will not be supported in this thread:
- Custom Kernels
- Mods, including CPU management mod or any strawberry mod
- Modified system files
- Xposed
If you reuse even a part of my work here, a proper credit is a must, keep it open source also a must

Don't create any mirror without a permission!
Cyanogen recovery above just like a standard AOSP recovery without a lot of features compared to TWRP, but you can temporary boot it using "fastboot boot cyanogen-recovery-wt88047.img" command to check if CyanogenMod 12.1 ROM possibly working on your device variant.
Don't even try this ROM on Redmi 2A variant!

Current status:
Boot to Android, this is my first ROM that really boot on the first try
Touchscreen works, all hardware button mapped correctly
No screen flicker, fluid graphics
Voice call and SMS works, data over WiFi and GSM works (radio config in build.prop fix previous GSM issue)
Vibration and screen rotation works
All sensors seem works including GPS and compass but light sensor still need a fine tuning
Both camera working, the author found a super clean solution
No boot animation (fixed, kernel issue) Disable splash screen break Android boot animation but if I enable it, Cyanogen recovery covered by Tux the penguin logo in the center. The workaround solution, move Tux to the top right of the screen
No sound (fixed, kernel and user space issue) This also fix slow boot because of logcat flooding. BUG: Speaker output ignore headset jack insertion, sound out from both speaker and headset
Bluetooth file transfer fail (~42MB zip, failed at 17%) WiFi file transfer way faster
FM radio works
WiFi hotspot works
YouTube and local video 720p works
LED driver working great, multi color and blink
Remember, no contribution from Xiaomi yet. That's the reason why I try to avoid "Xiaomi" string in my source as possible but Wingtech.
I use CyanogenMod resources as much as possible, including common MSM8916 device tree and kernel. Maintain device source tree and leave common part to CyanogenMod community. I'll strictly follow CyanogenMod coding style and source structure. This is about source code quality.
AGAIN, I DO NOT OWN THE ROM.
Will try it soon. And I hope Xiaomi will release the kernel like Redmi 1s.
kumajaya and zwliew are the most stable CM12.1 roms for our phone. I hope they reach 100% full working version in near future.
Thank you both!
Can you upload the changelog for the latest [30/09/15] build. Also is the YAS537 supported
How about some screenshots?
What is the point of this thread when the original poster already has one on XDA?
