If debugging is on you can push an apk, otherwise need to restore a nandroid or flash a new ROM or return to stock

Assuming you have configured your google account in your phone, go to the Play Store (in your PC), log in, and search for any launcher. Clic on Install, and that's it (press Home on your phone when the installation finish, and select the fresh installed launcher).

Blank screen from uninstall Go Launcher - FIXED!!!!
Here's an easier solution to resolving the go launcher uninstall blank screen.
Make sure your phone is on, log into google however you do.
Go to this link: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gau.go.launcherex&hl=en
Click install and select your phone. The app should be pushed to your phone and installs automatically. Open app after install.
DONE!
Atrix rooted ,have a titanium back up .
After a factory reset no home screen and no access to Menu & settings
I am looking for a way to put the USB port in debug mode without access to the settings.
After that reload the APK's (with Android Injector)and do a restore with Titanium
Regards
Gus
Anyone????
I have root privilige ,access to fastboot menu, this is a Linux OS .
Is there a way to enter a command line to enable the USB port in debug mode??
Or any other way to install APK's with black home screen and no access to Menu

Did you remove or freeze any system apps with TiBu at any point before doing the factory reset? Are you running a different launcher?
I was using launcher pro ,anyways all the problems appeared after the factory reset ,I can go to the google play APP store and I can see my download history
but cannot install APK's (Astro, Launcher ,etc) This is the message I get from Google play
“You haven’t accessed the Google Play Store app (the white shopping bag app icon) on your device with this email account
Any way to get in console mode and type a command line to enable the USB port
in debug mode
Thank you

Gus

it almost sounds like you never even went through the blur setup process after the reset. have you tried launching the accounts app and making sure your blur and google accounts are added?
Blur account set up ,wireless working I can access google via voice command by pressing the search button.Again I have no way to reinstall the lancher Astro, and TiBu that is why I am trying to get the USB port in debug mode.
Anyone with a better plan ???

Hi guys! This if my first post about a strange situation with account and apps.
I have 2 phones:
A galaxy Nexus and an Xperia Ray.
2 differents gmail accounts with sync and automatic backup on.
When I change rom in my nexus, at the first startup I just put my username and password and automatically all my apps are downloaded and installed.
In my Xperia I'll do the same, but I've to open Play Store, click on "installed apps" and manual install my apps one by one.
Is normal that? I'm using the same settings for backup and syncronization for the 2 phones....and this happen for every rom that I've installed in my ray.
Thanks for your help!
Valerio
On nexus devices at the setup wizard there's the option to restore them, I guess this option doesn't exist in our setup wizard
But there should be a way to download all the apps automatically

You can use Titanium Backup from play store to backup and restore your applications.
AW: [Q] Automatic installation of apps after rom change
i think it only works with jb. on any ics roms i had installed on my ray, there was a checkbox for backup and restore phone through the google account. but it worked never for apps. then i installed super jelly bean and checked this option in setup wizard and all apps where automatically downloaded.
Hi .. I recently upgraded my phone xperia mini pro SK17i 's software from GB to ICS 4.0.4 and rooted my phone.
After rooting i installed Titanium backup and remove a few what i thought were unnecessary apps from my phone .
I think i also deleted the google.download.manager.apk i'm not sure but i cannot see this service in my "ALL APPS" (APP Manager) Its not at the bottom or disabled its just not there.
Since then i keep getting gapps stopped working and Google play stopped working .
i have tried
1. Rebooting (multiple times)
2. Clearing cache/clearing data for Play
3. un-installing /Re Install play
4. Download goomanager and downloading latest gapps packed and flashed the zip
5. Delete gmail account and restart and add account again.
Also i don't think there is prob in Google sync...
and checked out all the sites and forums for solution ... i still haven't gotten any solution to this.
i saw in a few places about QtADB and new ROM..but i have abs no clue about what it is or how to go about it
I jst want the Google download manager back and Google Play to work...
I have downloaded a new download manager for now. But was wondering if i can get back Google download manager without have to to do a factory reset.
First: You can ask these questions (for more response) in your phone section which can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=2054
Second: Wipe /system and flash ROM and GAPPS reboot phone and set it up then reboot again.. Should work now.
Hello everyone,
I have a Lenono A806. The device was rooted and I downloaded an root uninstaller from the Play store to uninstall some apps that I couldn't otherwise.
In the process, among other apps, I deleted the only launcher I had on the phone (Lenovo Launcher) and I might have deleted the APK (not sure about the APK). The result was a black screen without any apps.
When turn on the phone I can see the home screen (same one you see before you unlock keyboard) and I also have some of the functionalities (eg messages, can make calls etc). However if I open one of these functionalities and I click on the "back" button, the screen goes completely black and the phone goes unresponsive. I tried to reset factory settings by holding the Volume Up + Down + On/Off button which opened the "Lenovo Recovery" screen and I choosing the "wipe user data (both fuse format and fuse wipe data). I also tried he install update package option and I rebooted the phone. Nothing of those worked.
Could anyone direct me towards the right way?
Thanks in advance,
Ilias
Sideload a 3rd party launcher via adb.
Try install any launcher using pc or using recovery.

if ...
you can access your file manager then I would suggest obtaining a launcher apk, putting it on your sdcad and then installing it from there via file manager. I like ADW very much - it can be had from here:
