I just picked up my third evo3d because of this exact thing. If they threaten to send it in threaten to return it and they will give you a new one. Its that simple.
So, yes. you can get another one.
I took my first one back for really bad light leakage I get this one back and there's a dead pixel right smack in the middle. I couldn't really see with all the light outside but I just noticed it. FML

Just as loose.....I swear my luck is terrible. Now I have a loose slider and a dead pixel. Ehh I guess that's life. I'm not driving back to exchange again eff it. I'll accept my punishment and move on. At least crazy light leakage is gone but at the cost of a dead pixel....

You have the right to return it in the first 30 days. Dont take the employees crap.
Seriously. You have the right to take it back as much as you want till you get a good one as long as you do it in the first 30 days. Just go back and dont take no, if they say it Return the phone and go to a different store.
My friend threw her phone and now it forever says no service even though it has service is showings bars and an active 3g connection. She already bought a new phone so I wanna fix this and get a free back up. Any ideas?

Hmm from it being dropped? Its so odd it'll sit there at two bars and say no service but I can use 3g fine. Seems like something dumb happened.

Try this. Take the back cover off and then very gently pull the little golden tabs up a little. Also try pulling the sim card out and putting it back in.

Yea that did seem to help a bit. I got it to send a text but now once it has less than two bars it says no service even though its clearly in service with working data. Eh seems like its not worth the hassel of fixing and keeping.

there's a fix in the general section that addresses this issue. Apparently it's a hardware issue where the tabs in your phone don't seem to make the connection to the antenna. the fix points out which connectors to adjust but requires you opening your phone. I've been experiencing this issue as well. I find massaging the top back right (when looking at the phone) seems to help but it's only a temp fix. I'm debating if I want to send the phone in for an RMA for that and a weird sim issue I've been experiencing.

Opening it isn't that difficult. Just follow the instructions and be gentle on the prongs when you pull them up.

I bought a husky multi tip "jewlers" screwdriver from Home Depot, best $10 I spent. Got the philips/standard one and the torques one. I use those to tear everything down. 2 sec GPS lock and no more sim issues plus 3 month warranty extended onto my phone. I'm fairly content, couldn't get anyone to give me any sorts of discounts on a Note 2 but I still love this phone.
Had this same problem - flashed a GB radio - everything is now working perfectly.

Take a look at my girlfriends note 2, she was at work and plugged it in to charge and a few minutes later smelled burning and her phone was off. She opened the back cover and found the wireless charging pins had overheated and was burning through the back cover. What do you think could have caused this? Phone still works except calls can only be heard on speakerphone. Crazy...

Verizon note2? Wireless charging pins aren't exposed, elaborate?
If another model I'd guess some residue on the inside of the backing grounded the 2 pins? If you ever picked up an oily car battery you might know how little it takes.. >_>

I'd march right into the Verizon store and show them. I could almost guarantee you they'd order you a new replacement for sure.

Are you for real? Find a consumer-grade tablet anywhere that'll get run over by a car and survive before you continue spouting your useless bile. But that's par for the course with you on this forum, isn't it.
OP: I'm impressed it turns on at all after that. Did you reverse off the tablet as soon as you hit it or something?

Probably not; although I am still wondering how a Nexus 10 could be left on the ground, and then ran over
Well. After work I walked to my car and this little old lady was trying to carry pizza and her purse next to where I work. I set the tablet on my trunk and helped her to her car. I drove home and realized where I left my tablet... Drove back and looked in the parking lot and it wasn't there. I drove home again and thought it may be in the street if It stayed on for a bit. So I went back and sure enough it was on the speed bump ran over. I think I ran over it on my first trip to look for it.
