Here's the thread I've been using but you may want to wait for help from someone more experienced considering I may have just bricked my phone...
Ctrl-F "Network" and you will see that the Stock firmware for 3 UK is indeed XXLE8
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1671969
3 UK firmware is posted in that link under branded /carriers post .
Stock roms will not brick the phone .

I'm lost, I9100p or I900p?
If it's I900p, what phone is that?
If it's I9100p flash any I9100 ROM / kernel.
If you don't wanna lose NFC, there's a couple of threads with a NFC enabler laying around here somewhere.
i guess it's about a i9100p
don't think a i900p exist....he wouldn't be posting here
and yes - any kernel would do the job (as gastonw says)

This is the jelly bean ERA, gingerbread is long gone.
Unzip that and you'll get a single file containing Code, CSC & modem.

actually, for installing custom roms you really dont need to bother about your firmware details only your device make and model
unless you need to flash stock roms
if you are not rooted then search for siyah kernel(safest way to start) and flash it via odin
you can find the details in the forum
then flash the custom rom via recovery
