Louder speaker? - LG Optimus L9 P760, P765, P768, P769

Is there any way we could use a different kernel to support voodoo sound? The speaker doesn't play loud on my l9

If you can't flash Cyanogenmod, I'd recommend trying ViPER4Android. I've had it installed on my P769 for ages now, and there really is a noticeable difference in sound quality and volume in both headphones & loudspeaker. It's honestly one of the best things I've ever installed on my phone.
You can find it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=39156703

I was also going to suggest Viper.

Alright thanks you guys also could someone give me a link for cwm? Seems to me that's the p769 Is least compatible out of the different versions of our phone

new voodoo app control

has anyone tried it? I haven't bought it yet but I know that you can't go wrong with this app.

It works well. Allows some Voodoo Sound stuff without a Sound-enabled kernel, I think.

You mean even with 2.1??

I am waiting for supercurio to do a write up of the features for VC+. Other than not needing a custom kernel, I am curious of the differences. The pic showing a check box for tune speaker for music is intriguing, but I do not know I would ever use the interal speaker for music.
So does this give any other benefits for voodoo kernel users?

Here is an update on the app:

I immediately bought the app, too. Voodoo sound is the best. Seems good so far. I'll know fire sure tomorrow when I blast music at work through it.

Galaxy Note Volume

So I'm running FJ's UCLF6 + FJmod, and the volume seems much lower than the stock ROM and XLA2 did. The problem is, this is the first time in months I've listened to anything via my headphones, so I can't say what or when things went wrong.
Has anyone had this issue? I'm using Beyond pod.

I would suggest try the Volume+ app from Play Store. Free one doesn't work but paid one works well.
Volume+ (Volume Boost) works for me also. worth the $ to buy it on the PlayStore.

Some people do. I don't feel its low personally.

Stock based Roms sound low?

Hey I've been running either cm or aokp variants (ics and jb) and the volume from the speaker is perfect! It's loud enough to use as an alarm and to hear text messages from my pocket...i switched to a few stock based roms to get back to the Samsung roots and the volume is insanely quiet coming from the speaker...my question is, can i use an app or inject dsp manager ask i can either boost volume, or raise all the cats in the eq to get "more"sound out of my speakers?

There are plenty of kernel that have audio settings and a DSP mod somewhere. Search

Thanks. I did search, but came up with nothing. Xda search is terrible, and Google site search came up with nothing as well.

No incall sounds?

Hey guys, I for some reason I can't hear any sound when in a call its just completely silent. Im using the stock rom rooted with the bat file that was found in the guide and unlocked with FreeGee. Any ideas?
I forgot to add. I can hear when it's on speaker just fine though.

Alright guys I've seemed to have fixed it by flashing the stock Rom again, must have happened by an app I tried to remove.
