I am using this thread to ask if someone could compile an apk to make fish eye pictures. I know there are some apps which provide this, but the results are terrible and I have seen this before in an iphone.
Would it be possible? Could anybody do this? A big part of the community would thank a lot something like this.
Thank you

Yes there are a lot but the result is awful. It makes a fish eyed zoomed pic... The only way I managed to make good fish eye pictures was with photosphere. If u make 9 pictures (3x3 pics) the result is wonderful but its only for long distances

You could try the port from the lenovo phone
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2427015
It has a Fish eye effect
If you want a true fisheye effect you can always buy a lens that can fit your phone.

Red lens for me, thanks for the link =)

I personally think this should be stickied in Defy Android Development, as it is an app, yes, but it relates to Development as it helps the noobs work out which lens they have.
Nice application, should i've
been found it before, cz i realise i got red lens when my camera could record in HD :banghead:

Yea wrong section but I actually have the same question. I'm trying to turn my touchpad into a photobooth and need front camera working.
When it comes to cameras created on devices NOT in the android family (playbook, TP), android OS has a very tough time accessing it due to the way the software interfaces with the hdw. Searching around will show it's not been done yet on the TP but there's been a recent burst of activity with it. The questions should be asked in the Q/A forums.

I think this wasn't only the wrong section, but the wrong forum, lol. Every single rom that has a working camera app(so I guess not CM9 at the moment), has a working FFC.
Just wondering what people would recommend to use as a gallery, the stock jb one is pretty basic and dated looking and in need of replacement.
Cheers guys

Hello guys,
below an alternative to the boring stock chargmon charging animation when phone is off.
- Simple replace the stock images in system/semc/chargmon/data with the ones in the zip file
UPDATE 14-05-2013
- Changed design and resolution to fit Xperia P

Just tested and so far looking good only one thing I could say though is possibly making the battery icon a bit bigger so it make it look more like it was designed for the xp instead of the xu not sure about the text yet haven't had chance to get it to that bit but other then that keep up the good work

Ugly phone and ugly specs! I hope that's not true...or then I would definitely buy a huawei mediapad x1 or zte nubia x6...and I'm tired of waiting for KK update even note 2 and s3 will get earlier update and our mega is newer device, they need to look at the release date and not the popularity of the phone or its powers, and our mega is enough powerfull too with good roms or firmware past easy 20000 points in antutu...
We are waiting for kk update.. Your powerful point is very good..
