Theme and mods are based on SHOstock​​​
The intent of HoloWizS4 is to make TouchWiz to look more like the Holo themes found in GE/CM/AOSP ROM’s. Many subtle changes... some not so subtle
HoloWizS4 Theme Suite Comprises the Base HoloWiz, several “add-ons”, options and mods.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
MMS, Phone and Contacts are no longer themed as part of the Base HoloWiz (PNG Only) Theme. These are now flashed separately for compatibility purposes.
Do not flash this on top of other themes. Ensure you are “stock” (except for the 3 files above) before you flash anything !
The theme is extensive. It takes up to 3 minutes to Flash. Please be patient.
Suite Contents and Options:
HoloWizS4 Base Theme:
PNG Only changes for the Base Theme. All files were created by the OP and have been optimized. It should be compatible with many ROMs
HoloWizS4 MMS, Phone and Contact Versions:
Stock (white) for MF3 Based ROMs
Inverted (black) for MF3 Based ROMs (from SHOStock)
Inverted (black) for International Based ROMs (from MI1)
HoloWizS4 specifically for SHOstock
... Everything included
Theme add-ons/mods:
“XML/Res add-on”, for a more complete theme, incorporates numerous "XML" and “resource" file changes. Limited compatibility… likely only compatible with MF3 Based ROMs. This add-on modifies 3 files: ClockPackage, SMemo2, and SystemUI.
Launcher in a 4x4 home & 4x5 app (stock) layout (pre-themed from MI1)... Likely works on most ROMs.
Fully themed Calendar and Widget. Widget in semi-transparent white or black
Fully themed SMemo with Post-it note backgrounds
Everything is Recovery Zip'd for your flashing pleasure.

WOW... OVER 150 downloads and just a few "replies". Hopefully that means all is well.
I've updated the OP to version 1.5... The theme has been updated for a few things to make it even more complete. It may be minor stuff to some, but I'm a perfectionist.
Version 1.5 Changes:
... The versions for "PNG Only" and "Full SHOstock" were updated
... SystemUI was revised for several notification bar files to add subtle holo-blue accents.
... framework-res was tweaked for the holo "press" and editing was done to the "settings switch" for a more Holo look and less TW
... a few subtle "holo" tweaks were made to ClockPackage, Email_J, MusicPlayerWT, SecPhone, SecContacts, and SecNoteMyFiles

Thank you... and maybe. XML and resourse.arsc mods can be touchy.
I'd recommend the backing up these apk's: ClockPackage, SMemo2, and SystemUI.
Then try the "HoloWizS4 (XML/Res add-on)". You would then essentially have the full SHOstock version without the risk. If that works and you really want the full SHOstock version, go for it!

My contacts, mms and phone are still light. Will flashing the inverted phone /mms/contacts be all that is needed to make them dark? Your first note says it is required, so flashing that should be the first step, right?

Yes sir... correct. Flash the inverted phone /mms/contacts first, then the theme. You don't need to reboot between flashing them.

I have ShoStock 2.2 installed without any errors. I then flash Holowiz and it boots fine, but as soon as I do a restart, it wont load past the samsung logo. ugh, I cannot figure out why. Any help would be awesome. On another note, when flashing, the version still says 1.0. Not a big deal but I thought I'd point it out.

First time I've heard of anyone having an issue. I forgot to change the script version... thanks. Which file did you flash? How long did you give it? It may take a couple of minutes to boot up the first time (similar to the timeline after flashing a ROM). I'm running ShoStock 2.2 as well. No issues. I'd recommend clearing dalvik and cache after flashing.

Well my issue started last night. I had ShoStock 2.2 and Holowiz 1.0 running just fine for the last week or so. I downloaded a font package and it bricked my phone. Stupidly I hadn't done a nandroid so I had to wipe and reflash everything. I've had trouble ever since. I am currently booted into ShoStock without holowiz and try to narrow down if it is a holowiz or shostock problem.
I flashed the

Bummer on not having the backup... betcha won't do that again. It's a lesson we've all learned the hard way at some point. Make sure you are completely stable on 2.2 and give it a couple days. Once you are sure all is stable and good, then try again.

I flached the inverted MMS/Phone/Contacts (without wiping Dalvik+cache) and had issues. Slow boot, com.android.phone stopped working, many apps wouldn't open. Phone did open for a moment before FC, but it was dark (inverted). ThenI had a hard time getting recovery to start. Finally restored a backup from this morn.
Should a Dalvik+cache wipe fix my issue?

You could try. It might fix it. Sounds like they may not be compatible with your ROM. The inverted files are from SHOstock 2.2 - MF3.

I'm on stock rooted MDL. Just might have to find a whole new ROM. I've tried a few but some are overdone with themed mods. And some come with more bloat than carriers install!

MDL? That's the issue. MDL is not compatible with most of these newer ROM bases. I think its time of upgrade. My recmedation for a good solid ROM is SHOstock.
