I used my phone for i while HTC HD2 and suddenly after i goed from Android 3.5 to Windows mobile 6.5 touch wont work.
All keys working display working perfectly no crashes on screen but touch wont work ? ?
Anybody can help me my dad will kill me . Please help ?
Assume the very common digitizer issue, try pressing screen near edges around end button & see if get some screen response.
Also try a hard reset or original wm6.5 inc spl & radio to help eliminate software glitch .

What ROM are you using? Changing the SPL won't help. Try the PC.Pro v22 from PDACorner, Abusalza. It does sound like you may have a faulty front camera though.
Hi,
I have XDA Neo G4, i did HardSPL and i am using WM 6.1.
I have problems that my screen is dead after some time, I press power button and nothing reacts, also when somebody calls me it rings and i can answer the call but screen is dead doesnt display nothing.
After 1-2 hours then screen works again without reseting phone or something !!!
I have try Hard Reset, change 2-3 different roms but still same problem.
Please help me if somebody knows is it any issue of WM 6.1 rooms or it is hardware problem in my Prophet ?

the problem is that my phone's keypad fate alone, and sometimes make calls alone!
what should I do?! I have to flash ! but by what flash!
Go to start>settings>system>Key lock>Lock all buttons but power button.
This should stop it activating if the buttons other than the power button on the side are pressed...

but my HTC done it alone, I do not touch it! and not even in my pocket! when the phone keypad sort, sometimes gives me a message with "3g not available, click on ok if you want to leave a voice message"!
and call the last number in my call history!
and sometimes the two buttons for call "Green & Red", not works!
is a possible problem with the ROM!
but I installed the official ROM HTC TYTN and I still have that problem!
and I had not this problem before. just lately!
that's going on with my HTC not!

have you thought that maybe its the circuitboard thats at fault and not the rom? maybe the call button is broken and that is what is making it dial your last number?
If you press the call button the dial pad appears , which is probably why the 3g signal message appears because the video call button was pressed, also why the last number is being dialled which is what happens when you press call twice. If you constantly delete your call history, it wont be able to call. But i know that isnt really a soloution to the problem.
The simplest way of finding out if it is the call button that is causing the problem is to lock the keys as ultramag69 has said, then the software part of your phone cannot activate the buttons. If the problem persists then you have a fault with the motherboard connections.
Thats my view on it anyway, i had a similar problem years ago with a wallaby and the call switch on the motherboard was the problem

is that all the buttons in the front does not work, just the buttons of directions and ok works.
I always have same problem of keyboard of Call !
yes it is possible that I have problem with motherboard! or I did a bad flash!
Now I want to know how to downgrade please, to get back to original rom / radio / spl and bootloader possible!

I think it sounds like more of a hardware problem...
After flashing with a few different ROMs, the problem should have fixed itself by now if it was software.
You may need to open Her up and poke around, use the "HTC service manual hermes" to do a search to find on the wiki for good instructions to open.

Hello there,
I have a qeustion:
My HD2 with the software in my sig, sometimes wont respond when i try to unluck it, or sometimes i cant press the W on the onscreen keyboard, could it be that the place where the W is on the onscreen keyboard, is broken?
Or could it be something with the ROM/Radio?
It also happends that the screen doesnt function at all, also the sensor doesnt flip my screen, i have this witl almost all HD2 ROMS, just pick one WM or Android and it does this frequently.
But sometimes there is nothing wrong, i can easy unlock and also press the W again.
Any tips?

Ill be flashing stock SPL and ROM and return it to the store.
I think it is the screen it self, the little part where the W key is doesnt register touch anymore. (if someone says this could not happen for example, that would help, cause i dont kow if only a "part" of a touchscreen can be broken).
apparently is definitely hardware issue.
Sent in to HTC yesterday. waiting to hear back. conveinient tracking system, too bad inconveinient manufacture
Hi guys i found strange today in my device that touch screen worked in reverse, ie: when i touched the right side of the screen left is working, and vice versa, whats going on in my device, help me out.
even after upadting to my stock firmware still touch works in reverse.. any solutions for this........
