no probs man just like to see support

Just flashed this and after one battery cycle I can say that this ROM is on par with stock on battery and about 1 more hours of standby time compared to cm7.2 fxp150. Overall performance is satisfactory on 1.2ghz (LuPuS GB) asphalt 7 runs well with only slight lag while 2D games like angry birds run very well. Subway surfers is also very Smith and is up to par with my galaxy note

This Rom can't restore my .vcf file which contains all my contacts and i don't know how to restore it, what do you suggest??
Edit: There are minor bugs like this that i can't restore .vcf file or the battery when charging, but the rom is very stable and smooth. Awesome work

Looks very nice. And great name

Nice and smooth rom but i see a huge battery drain when screen on, and force closes. On running apps i see 280Mb free and 34 used, what setting allow to have such high free ram? Is the minfree or swap on sd enabled or something?
Thanks

What rom and kernel?
Sent from my ST15i using xda premium
I use Gingerbread ROM as it is faster, less resource hungry, more stable and more batt efficient then ICS.
Xkernel has THE best battery consumption in my experience for GB
I also underclock to 768MHz, and undervolt all freq by 50mV.
2days heavy usage. So with light usage it can go 4days easy. I think I really can't get much more batt life then this

Ok clean fast and smooth jellybean good idea
I have an important question:
how can choose between performance of roms ?
benchmarks ?
here is my experience
on your sperience rom antutu gave me 3200+ score while 3d was about 960 and etc...
on hyperbeam cream it gaves me 3400+
that mean ICS is better even 3d on ics was 1100
but the performance of gaming was worst !!!!
so how can we expect a bout jelly bean ?
is it better than ICS (on this way)or such kind of the same ?
actually everyone needs performance beside of visual not reverse
can you explain.
thank you

Your theorie is bad.jelly bean has parts that make it 40 - 60 % faster then ics.there is a high possibility that jelly bean, and the sonys jelly bean, will be significatly faster then ics.
EDIT:i had 4400 on antutu without any tweaks,only oc to 1.6 ghz.STOCK ICS 587

Like shadik already said jb is now even smoother and faster than ics but its not fully stable yet, about gaming, its the panic kernel that gives you a great benchmark score, and gaming forme was smooth but sometimes it lags for a little time,gb was designed for our devices it gives us the best performance till now,but i think jb could be better if it gets stable

and I think comparing by benchmarks is good for the version of rom not all of versions.

and for example when I scroll on menu in GB it is smoother than ICS.
I know that the frame of ICS is better but it is a bit lags and I think it is because of processor.

I installed cm10
it lagged a little
I downloaded ram manager free from playstore
then i set to BALANCE
lag reduced a bit
Then i went to bottom
and saw SWAP button
I pressed it
selected 256 mb
and phone became lagles.if swap dont work, then blow me down...
!!!!!!!!BUT LETS GO BACK TO THE TOPIC!!!!!!!!
When it will release this ?
I want it LOL
And then can you make the contact , phone and messaging look like cm10( like nexus) ?
Not the official SONY one, because I think cm10's is better and cool
Or it is other ways to install those 3 as apk in your future rom?

[Sola]I will Not Install ICS On my my xperia Sola!

Today i flashed ICS 6.1.10 global rom in my sony xperia sola. After installing it i was in big trouble. When Charger or headPhone is Connected touch works ****. Aweful Performance. Everything was laggy. I was really disappointed. So now I have came back to GB 2.3.7. My xperia Runs like a Charm now. No single issue. some people complaining about battery but i have not noticed any fast battery drainage.
One thing that bothers me is that my friend Has a chinese brand mobile 1ghz processor, 512 mb ram. Even that has ICS and it works good. Then Why Sola lags on ICS?
I will come to ICS when All bugs will be fixed. I can not compromise performance.
I will wait till good reviews by users about ICS.
I hope that I have posted this topic in right forum.
Hi, I totally agree with what you said. You should however try the latest ICS, there is a new one after .10 it ends with .54. It is much faster. I would at least try it. There are uploads of that ROM here if you're interested.
CM 9.1 is for you, must give a try.

If you are stock lover, then try this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1922029
These two are the fastest and the best for our Sola.

Poor you.. Lol kidding. Totally disagree. Man, get the newer firmware. That is old one. I have some tips for you. In settings go to development options and checklist force gpu rendering and set background process limit to at most 3 processes. It even better than GB! You will not say that thing if you know how to customize your Android phone.
Sent from my ST25i using xda app-developers app
Mine Chinese phone with 512 MB RAM also is working better than Sony. The thing is that sola manages RAM poorly. However on fxp cm9 150 with zRam set to 26 % I no longer have issues with lags or freeze.
BTW. To the above post. Forcing gpu rendering will cause system to use more RAM, so it's the other way round.

Are you sure? :/. Haha but that's not problem to me cause I set background processes at most 3.Force gpu rendering will makes your phone faster. Also i have more tips that will make your touch sensitive phone more responsive and make scrolling faster. But whatever I tell to this thread will not make OP move to ICS

after limiting background processes to 3? what you meant by that? bro Android is for multitasking. Mostly what we do "Using internet, listening songs, testing and sometime playing games". On GB i am running browser, play store, facebook and sometime messages without disturbing other processes. anyway i will try .54.
On ICS screen colors look aweful. On GB colors are very bright and shining. Seeing angles much more than decent. and on ics everything is ****. Lets try .54..
Which one Should I try? Global or central europe or indian?

Hi bro, nice to see you again. Yes android is for multitasking. But with set at most 3 processes doesn't mean you can't multitasking. You still can use your phone for browsing, listening to music, update status on facebook.. Don't worry about that. It will just makes more free ram especially when you gaming. You also can use Android Assistant from play store to kill some process if you want to gaming by pressing quick boost button(I just use it if I want to play a game). You can set built in task killer using auto memory manager (must be rooted). It's ICS, which takes more RAM than GB.
I agree with that screen colors

Xperia U Real Racing 3

Fellow xda users,
I am not a massive fan of gaming on my android phone but since Real Racing 3 was released I can't get enough of it!
My problem is that when running on my Xperia U it is extremely laggy sometimes and also FC's alot.
Can anyone recommend a gaming optimized rom maybe that can actually handle the games needs or is there any tweaks I can do to get it running better?
I am running the latest cyanogenmod 9, rooted with unlocked boot loader.
I just don't understand how an iPhone 3GS with a 600mhz CPU can run this better than a dual core 1ghz CPU?
Any help is much appreciated!

HEY buddy
- Try to edit file at folder SDCARD/Android/Data/com.ea.games.r3_row/.depot/eds
- in folder have a file:
1. AndroidHigh.plist
2. AndroidMid.plist
3. AndroidLow.plist
4. AndroidXtraHigh.plist
- just copy another one you wanna use, example you use AndroidLow.plist and paste
- rename to AndroidMid.plist and AndroidHigh.plist (in Xperia U use between 2 both that file but i dont know maybe cant)
- and just try playing you felt fullspeed, no lags

i think i may have a solution to your problem. if you install chainfire 3d (requires root(link at bottom of post)) you can decrease texture quality and/or texture size which will reduce quality nof all apps until disabled but does help lag and memory usage which is probably why you are getting fc because you have run out of memory or it is starting to overheat.

[ROM][PORT] Miui v5 rev 3.9.20

Hi all,
Once again, I didn't develop this, I simply ported the miuiandroid N4 port.
NOT WORKING:
NFC?
WORKING:
Everything else, as far as I have seen.
qemu.hw.mainkeys is set to 0 on purpose. Capacitive button backlight is not functional. Until this is fixed, enjoy nexus 4 screen keys. HW keys are working, so if this bothers you, its a simple fix. I will change this when I get the backlight working.

Used the gapps from miuiandroid:

Awesome thanks for the port been missing miui

Nice! It runs surprisingly well. I don't use key backlighting anyways so yay!
It's very good rom.I like MIUI. I have battery drain and call bug like other 4.2.2 roms.Is there any way to disable virtual buttons.Backlight problem is no matter for me.
Best Regards.
nice rom,
i used the navbar app in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2213733 that thread
to disable the navbar, works great!
battery life was a real deal breaker, and might need to use the Volume fix as the volume keys are opposite, for the Call bug try using a different radio than JB's , only if battery drain is fixed then this ROM will be uber cool !
After installing this rom the mobile became too hot..

Seems to run smooth overall. I did notice that I cannot download anything from play store or online. Even the miui themes. I also cannot receive pictures. Just my .02 I can't wait for a update. I been waiting for a stable miui ROM for dayyyssss now. Keep up the good work. Were so close!
