[Q] v20f CWM - LG Optimus L9 P760, P765, P768, P769

I've flashed v20f with the edited bin file, I had to edit it myself to root. With the Hex Editor program.
I went to install CWM 2ndinit LG Prada. Got a security error, and I cant install Artas's recovery for some reason, and why do I always have to use LGpwn after the flashing process? Its the only way I can get SU permission to work with the Recovery installers. I did use cmd to RootLelus>RootL9 specific for v20f.
Help?

Here check if your phone has spritebud or not, then install and run LGPwn.apk and install busybox and SuperSU from Google Play.

I have spritebud and ive done all of that but when I tap supersu it says
there is no SUbinary installed and SuperSU cannot install it.This is a problem!
Have you tried to see if you have root permissions?

[Q] PLEASE HELP!!Su binary not installed and SuperSu cannot install it.

I have Xperia U awhich i had rooted with Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v18 withouth unlocking the bootloader.
Recently my phone failed to start at the screen got stucked on the Xperia logo so i had to repair the installation by updating the phone with ICS from update service.
After that my phone seems to be half rooted, it installs the root apps like SuperSu , busybox but it has lost the su binary files.
The SuperSu gives the error 'Su binary not installed and SuperSu cannot install it'. I know this is a common problem i searched a lot on it and the best solution i fiund was to flash the SuperSu zip file from Clockwork Mod recovery.
But i dont have CWM as i didnt unlock my bootloader while rooting and i tried to install it but it didnt get installed as there was no su binary.
I cant un-root my phone i cant re-root it. I have tried everything but nothing works.
Is there no way i can have root access again?

Please help!!

you will stuck at the boot image cause u need to unlock boot loader, for the root, you need to aware that the ICS 4.0.1.a.0.283 easier to root but 4.0.1.b.0.112 and above most root software cant do the root, u better install those rom to root, and after you root, just install x-part and u will install the CWM easily through the apps, hope is help for you

Sorry i cant understand what you are trying to say. My problem is i am already rooted and i can install SuperSu but it gives error that su binary is not installed. I tried to unroot and re-root from 'Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v18' but the process gets stuck midway and nothing changes.
The only possible solution i found to install su binary was from CWM but i dont have cwm and there is no way to install cwm without supersu permission.
Is there any other way to install su binary?
Or is there any other way to install cwm without it needing su binary?

It gets stuck at the reboot stage. It doesn't reboot the phone when i restore the Root Me file.
When i rebooted it manually after waiting for a long time, it corrupted my phone with icons turning black and phone slowing down. So i had to repair the insatllation again with update service.
If i re-root it with some other method or maybe with 'Bin4ry v31', do you think it will work?
.
Please help! Anyone?

[Q] Partially failed root?

Can someone explain why this is happening:
After unlocking, I started with flashing stock-17.1.1.A.0.402-sirius-repack.img from http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/sirius and was able to get to the new recovery ok. I then proceeded to flashing superuser. After flash and reboot I tried installing busybox but the install failed (, I got the superuser prompt as expected but install still failed. Xposed framework also failed to install with error about not being able to write to system. AdAway also couldn't write to hosts file.
Then I flashed Doom's CWM-Based Recovery 6.0.4.7 from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2702001 and everything started working.. busybox/xposed/adaway installed fine etc.
Why couldn't I install the above when running TRWP?

I've experienced the same and found that the official TWRP Kernel doesn´t have enabled write permissions for the device.
Just take DooMloards unofficial build for .402:

I hope this helps you.
Cheers, yeah, I figured it was something like that..
I'm having a similar issue with adaway not writing the hosts file and Root Exporter can't change to R/W. I'm on 314, used Easy Root and installed Supesu from the play store. Is there any way around this without installing a custom.recovery?
@irishrally I had to remove SuperSU then flash ClockworkMod SuperUser to get AdAway to work right, with SuperSU it always failed to copy the hosts file, with CWM SuperUser it copies & applies it with no issues.

Rooting device ..not rooted

Hi guys,
I have a little issue : after unlock the boot loader,
loaded the TRWP 2.5.0
I tried to load update-superSU2.02.zip to get root privileges by recovery mode
I was done, but when I open the superSU app it told me it hasn't program
in effect su miss from system/xbin nor from system/bin.
Analisyng the superSU installation script I saw It use system/xbin/daemonsu but I can't find it into my directory
Daes Anyone know who install that program?
many thanks
[Solved]
I solved the problem:
the TWRP 2.5.0 provided with WinDroid Universal HTC Toolkit v1.2 doesn't work well, this recovery wasn't able to load cache partition (I don't know why) anyway with a version of trwp 2.5 loaded by promnpt
Code:
fastboot flash recovery c:\recovery.img
It worked
