Help flashing GNex to ntelos - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I recently acquired a refurbished galaxy nexus, which I am attempting to flash from sprint service to ntelos. I have been able to find several guides explains the basics of what needs to be done, and I have gotten voice and text working, but I can't find anything about the details of what the network settings need to be to get data working.
So, if someone could point me in the direction of ntelos data settings, I would be greatly appreciative.

Flashing Metro PCS to my HTC Droid Eris?

I have a rooted HTC Eris Driod that was perviously on the verizon network but is currently not in service.... so far I have been using it around the house to serf the web with my wifi.
I am running GB 2.3 I would like to flash this phone to Metro PCS and start using it again... would this be possible if I currently dont have a plan?
not too sure if the old phone number assigned to it is even valid or if someone else is using it since i turned off service years ago?
Any recomendations or what are my options?
Thanks...
Droid Newbie.
You didn't clarify do you want to have service with MPCS?
I had mine done 2 weeks ago, so far so good. It was from vzw, cm7 2.8.3. i don't see why yours cannot be done. as for the number, it's proly back in circulation/pool and in use. i would call it first. otherwise you can get a new number at the mpcs store.
Note that they officially flash talk and text only. Some dudes do full flash for some extra $$, just ask. I ported my number from Tmobile and I am the 25$ plan (promo ended last december). I have been reading around to find how i can enable the web/data.
So far i have not found a link to get this done. so at the moment i can only use wifi.
If anybody can would you point us to some helpful links. Thanks. I hope that helps.

[Q] Have 2 questions.

I have purchased and activated a Samsung Galaxy s3 from Straight Talk model number SCH-S960L. My first question is am I able to flash from Straight Talk Sprint to Straight Talk Verizon. Second question is, since I have activated the phone will I be able to flash it at all. I have searched and searched the forums everywhere for an answer to these questions. If anyone could give me some assistance it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanx
Ghost
Interesting questions I would also like to know. I'm fairly new to this, but my two cents on this topic is this: from what I know the sch-s960l uses sprints network so if u flashed to verizon I'm not sure 4g would work because they are on different frequencies. Otherwise I wld also like to do this cuz sprint sucks in my area so no 4g for me anyway. But I believe you can still flash after activating I don't think that matters. We need a rom that will not brick our phones or hinder any features while also getting the new s4 features (hint hint). I've said b4 will say again...I WILL DONATE to anyone who can help with our sch-s960l issues

[Q] Flashing a samsung note 2 to straight talk verizon.

I am trying to get my samsung note 2 onto the straight talk network that uses the verizon towers. My phone is a global phone so I can use the at&t or t-mobile services through straight talk but I would prefer to run off verizon towers as I would have better service. I have recently contacted Straight talk and they do still use verizon towers but they will not allow a 4g phone onto this network. Just as Verizon Prepaid plans will not allow a 4g phone I assume. They do allow 4g phones for att and tmobile however. I know you can flash a 4g phone to work with verizon's prepaid however I am not sure if I can do the same for straight talk. Will I even need to flash? Please help!
Android Version: 4.1.2
I hope this is the right section for this post. Thanks!
Just look for a good ROM 4.2.2 and below. I have had many issues with no service at all running 4.3 ROMs. All you have to do is Google the best APN settings for straight talk. I'm on net10 so I cant help with that, but yeah. I'm running avatar rom if that helps you with a rom to use :3

Yes, that does help. Now I know where to start. I will find a good ROM and try to find the APN settings. If I do find the correct APN settings will I need a verizon straight talk sim card for my phone or will I just have to go on their site or call them to activate without the sim? Any information on how I can activate my Note 2 to the verizon straight talk network would be helpful. Or would I just have to get the Verizon straight talk sim and just enter the correct apn settings and just plug in and use the phone?
I would not be opposed to using net 10 however. I am just looking for a semi affordable pre paid service that runs off verizon's towers. Considering I pay $130 a month for my service with verizon, it wouldn't take much to beat what I am paying now.
There is no verizon straight talk sim cards. This will probably only be possible with a donor phone.

Is there a tutorial somewhere on using a donor phone to get on the Verizon side? That is what I did with my fascinate and want to do the same with a note 2
To the OP, how's the new service working?

[Q] MOBILE DATA NOT WORKING (Possible Reward for Working Solution)

I have a Samsung Galaxy S II (SCH-R760) with Ntelos and have a major problem. I can send/receive texts and calls but my mobile data network will not connect. I have checked all settings, troubleshooted with Samsung and Ntelos and nobody can help me. I don't care what ROM or Kernel there is out there but I will try anything if anyone can help. I rooted my phone once before but after reverting back to Jelly Bean 4.1.2 this problem has been occuring. I cant even modify the APN settings. I believe this is going to have to be one for the developers or anyone who knows what the answer is. If someone can provide a solution that works, a $50 money order may be a reward. Thats how desperate I am. You can contact me here or at [email protected]. ANY help would be greatly appreciated. BTW, I used the Samsung Simple Upgrade Tool to revert back to original OS if that helps.

[Q] Nuked my SIM with *228, need advice

Hi!
After not being able to figure out my wonky data issues for a while now (no LTE when in LTE/CDMA, LTE in LTE only etc) I've read it's because *228 will mess with Verizon's SIM. Well, I traded SIMs with a friend with an S3 and that's definitely the problem. I was able to get 4G on his sim and he wasn't able to with mine.
A couple questions:
1) Will Verizon let me get a new one for free? Even if I am not the account owner? How will I explain this to them?
2) I'm on Hyperdrive currently on MDK baseband, do I need to ODIN back to stock? Can someone assist in finding the correct file to flash? I've searched all over and can't seem to find the correct one.
Thanks for your help.
