So I really liked the CyanogenMod PieControlls, but the color was allways the same.
So I made this mod :
It enables PieControls on devices without Softkeys:
->Enable Softkeys->Goto System Settings and activate the expanded desktop -> select the option to show the statusbar in expanded desktop -> configure PieControls
this is a nice tutorial : -> http://www.geordienorman.com/pie-control-cyanogenmod/
It makes PieControls fully themable:
You can theme every part of PieControlls.
This Mod works on any device with Cm 10.1 or Cm 10.2.
Download it here

Wow, that's awesome:laugh:Thanks a lot:good:

What happens with the menu key? Does it show up in the pie controls if an app requires the menu button (like in the Nexus 4 and the Galaxy Nexus and other phones that use touch-based navigational buttons)?
That's the only reason I don't use pie controls in general (yeah, I know, silly reason )

But on cm 10.2 you can go into expanded desktop and you wont see the softkeys.
On Cm 10.1 you have to disable the softkeys after configuring pie.

Basically, on Android, the menu button is supposed to be within the app itself. If it's not, the Nexus phones (or devices with a navigation button bar) show a menu key (the three vertical dots).
With your module, do we see those three dots if an app requires it, or not?
IIRC, CM10 always showed the three menu buttons so it kinda became a little redundant.

I'm running this on CM 10.2 for the Atrix HD. Everything is working great except for one thing. I have the "Long press to kill app" option enabled for my Back button. Whenever I long press the button, it is turning blue. I don't see an option to to change this color. Am I missing something?

I used to have a Galaxy S on t-mobile and loved it. Recently picked up the razr and the one thing that is really annoying is that the notification bar "swipe down menu" from the top of the screen has no buttons to turn gps on/off, etc.
Is there any way to get these buttons on here?
No idea why in the hell they would omit that feature....

It's actually a TouchWiz (Samsung's Android skin) feature that Cyanogenmod incorporated. Bottom line: not stock Android, and not on Motorola's skin.

Galaxy S has the options in the pulldown by default; most ROMs will incorporate it, though, since it's a nice feature. It's not something in stock Android, though.
Best thing for now is the power control widget till our phones can get bootloader unlocked and development for roms can begin. I too had that previous. I just use thd widget for now

Widgetsoid seems like a great app with a lot of potential and nice customization features, but on the Razr you can't toggle directly from the notification bar with it. Instead clicking on the toggle icon will popup another window to toggle the setting on or off. That and I haven't been able to change the colors of the toggles in the dropdown so that it's readable.
Notification toggle is the closest I've found. Each toggle takes up a line but you can actually turn the item on or off straight from the dropdown.

*** This mod is designed for device / rom that didn't have a onscreen navbar (i.e.: samsung rom) ***
If your rom already have a navbar, you should already have 3dot menu enabled and enabling this mod will only hide your navbar!
This mod will enable 3dot menu button in all application (using a 0 height navbar), enjoy!
Side effects:
Samsung use fixed layout for their apps, and when a navbar is enabled we got unexpected results, can't do nothing about this... (see screenshot)

No, it's a guideline suggested since android 3.0 honeycomb, so the app had to support it.

Softkeys Fade Mod
Fades the softkeys to black after not touching it for some time
(for Xposed Framework)
Note: This doesn't hide the navigation bar at all. This only hides the softkeys/buttons.
What is SoftkeysFadeMod?
SoftkeysFadeMod is a unique found only in Cataclysm ROM by atl4ntis
It was originally posted here as a teaser.
This is slightly different from the one in Cataclysm ROM since it's code is not open sourced.
Why use SoftkeysFadeMod?
As said by the original creator himself here, it is to prevent AMOLED screen burn in's and give your phone a nice minimalist look.

There are several cool features of the new software for stock control.
Is there any way to port this to stock 4.4.2 ROMs on the G2 so that we can replace the Menu button by Recent Apps?
In my humble opinion that navigation bar looks too cluttered and asymmetric.
I think, LG should just update ours G2 KK stock roms with those features we'go 20A, so maybe 20B? I also would glad welcome those dissabling features in notification bar.. go to hell with volume nad brightness sliding controls...

I happen to know of an xposed module for the G2 that will simply replace any "menu" button on the navbar with a recents button. It then causes a long-press on recents to bring up a menu. I'm sure it'll appear once xposed is updated to support the G2's kitkat firmware.

Sorry to be ot but you seem to me to be a good person to ask. I recently ran cloudya flex rom (4.2.2), a port which included the ability to hide the soft keys on apps of the users choice leaving a small touch area to bring them back. Do you happen to know if the code for this is present in the G2 stock rom but hidden or, otherwise, is it something that could easily be ported as a standalone mod? I think this may have been present in some earliar Korean builds.
I asked in the relevant thread but didn't get any joy other than being pointed in the direction of a buggy immersive app and exposed mods.
I would much appreciate your thoughts on this.
uh oh.... im in love... the glittery front bezel reminds me of the backing of the nexus 4. it looks awesome. i want it...
"G2 Xposed" allows you to customize the navbar as well, only one button less. Plus it can adjust the navbar height, and there is "bleed emmersive mode" for some well-designed apps.

Nice module. But I have some ideas for the future:
- hide text (ringer, media, alarm) and replace it by icons from volume panel
- apply width/margin values immediately without restart
- replace width-option by left and right margin (in percent?). Seems more intuitive to me
- add an option for notification volume which will be hidden if linked to ringer mode volume
- maybe an (upwards) extendable "panel" as seen on many roms
Keep up the nice work!
