[Q] How do I get stock 4.1.2 back on my S3 using OSX?

HI all!
I am at a loss here. I have searched and searched for a solution to my problem but to no avail!
Basically I have flashed CM10 on my S3 and also have Clockwork Mod recovery, I would like to go back to the stock rom with touchwiz ui on top. I have found guides online on how to flash stock roms using odin but I have a Mac and do not have access to a PC. I really need some guidance with this as cm10 is annoying me at this point and I would just prefer to go back to stock/out of the box rom. P.S. I did not back up my phone when flashing cm10.
Many thanks,
Dave
Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-i9300 international version bought from vodafone ireland if that is relevant

[Q] Install ROM for Samsung Galaxy GT-I9000

Hi everyone.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S GT-I9000 phone with Gingerbread 2.3.3 version installed by default.
I tried to install Jelly Bean ROM 4.1.2 version but could not succeed.
I have tried out the below steps-
1) Phone was unrooted, so rooted it and checked using Root Checker app. :good:
2) Downloaded zip file for Jelly Bean ROM and tried installing it, but getting some error as "No space left on the device"
Can anyone out here please help me out with providing steps to get my phone with the latest upgrade?
Thanks in advance...

I would recommend to flash cyanogenmod 7, then cyanogenmod 9 and then you can flash whatever you want.

Hi. My country and region is India/Pune
Kindly me out getting my phone upgraded...
Thanks.
Hi.
Can anyone give me suggestions or step by step process to install Jelly Bean on my phone Samsung Galaxy S GT-I9000 having Gingerbread 2.3.3 installed.
Thanks.

Im in quite the pickle.

So basically I updated my galaxy s2 t989 to jellybean so I would get the upgraded radio so I could install custom roms. After upgrading through Samsung kies I tried again and got stuck in a collaterals recovery boot loop. I restored to a previous backup before I upgraded but the problem is I am back on 4.0.4 but It kept the 4.1.2 radio. So now kies says my firmware is not compatible to upgrade. Is this common or am I totally screwed?

Although I do not personally own an S2 the common method is finding a radio version at 4.0.4 and flashing that. Finding it will be the difficult part. Ask around and see if one of your buddies (XDA is your buddy ) has a copy that they can lend you.

So would I just flash it through Odin?

Also do you know if that is why my phone isn't getting recognized by Kies?

As I said. I don't own any Samsung devices so I can't help you there. Basic andoiud help is finding a raido and flashing it through a recovery, CWM or otherwise.

If you have SGH-I747 as your signature indicates, then you are in the wrong forum. If so, disregard the advice above, and go to the correct forum for your phone.
