I am currently running a 4.2.2 Google edition ROM and was just wondering if the is a stable 4.3? I don't mind if it has some little bugs in it.

There have been serious issues porting GE 4.3, so instead Dubbsy, Treken and hlxanthus are making their own 4.3 AOSP build. There's an early version up at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2399972 - plain Android, not even gapps, but it's 4.3.

Really recommend PACMAN ROM. Its Google UI and also 4.3. I've been running it for a while now and I love it! Its a nightly though so everyday they update and fix new things. Good thing is to install the newer nightlies there's no need to factory reset. Give it a try mate maybe you'll like it as much as me \^_^/

I know I'm looking far ahead, but could the Rez theoretically get 5.0 before the fall? Unofficially of course

Just saw that article, thanks.. I guess it will be much easier for the rez to upgrade from 4.2 to 4.3
Yeah but any version of JB ob our phone is still AOSP. Once we truly get JB as an ota, then we could hope for anything more. My $.05, we won't even get it.

I was just wondering what is the difference they look very similar. I am currently running a TW clean ROM with all the bload ware removed and wanted to try something else. I'm sorry if this is posted in the wrong section!

GE 4.2.2 still has most of the TW framework in it natively. Where as any TW stuff in CM was added.
CM also has more user changeable options. GE is pretty much how it is

It's cool. I'm on slim right now. Lol. When I can't work on my own priests for whatever reason I try to mix it up a bit. :good:

I've tried about all of the current ROM's on my S4. I personally like CM the best. It is the closest thing to a 100% stock Google ROM there is.

I personally would disagree with that. CM has way too many customizations to be anywhere near pure aosp. I'm not saying they aren't welcomed customizations but they are indeed customizations. I personally am not a huge fan of pure aosp because of the lack of customizations baked into the settings.

You really can't go wrong with CyanogenMod. :good:
I'd also recommend ChameleonOS by @Treken as it is sower solid and with personal conversations with trek he has shown to be very knowledgeable and under the same mindset that IMO all Linux/android Devs should be under. That is ask each other questions, share knowledge you gained by doing a task that caused troubles, and in general do not withhold info or ignore other Dev questions. :good:
And for another plug of an aosp ROM id also suggest SlimRom just because it is wicked light and plenty capable.
ChaOS and Slim are the only AOSP ROMs I've ran in over a month on the gs4. My nexus 7 just runs PACman.

I am rooted and have Jellybeans Rom, but not to the latest version so far. How would I be able to update to Android Jellybeans 4.3? Do I have to get another ROM or?

Look in the Original Android Dev section. I think there might be a few 4.3 roms, but keep in mind htey won't have TW functions.

I'm using paranoid Android and it works well aside from some graphical glitches. It is 4.3 and the halo app is really nice.

Have been on beans and cm10.1 for last few months. Love it. Can't stand low volume issues.. Wouldn't mind giving that halo thing another opportunity but don't know whats stable that has it. Any tips ?
Sent from my SCH-I605 using xda app-developers app
low volume is an issue for aosp in general, heard it's better in 4.3 but they're not stable yet. If you like Halo try a floating Windows tw rom, it's like Halo on steroids.

This one guy, he kinda creeps around the note 2 threads , put together a list of pretty much every rom, kernel, and recovery on xda. You should check it out, it's pretty awesome.

Halo has like changed how I use my phone. I can't live without it since i first flashed paranoid android on my gnex. I have been daily driving paranoid android 4.3 for near a month now and it's amazing. If you like aosp Roms that's the way to go IMO. Pacman is another good option. For tw id recommend jelly beans or the new Jedi x. If I were you I'd just flash around like I did until you find something that fits your needs. For me its paranoid android with devil kernel
Hope this helped

lol you knuckleheads...... On paranoid 4.3 . Enjoying halo big time. Thinking about switching to an older version so I can enjoy something that's more complete. It's brilliant though. Guys are really doing a great job. At times the PIE hidden nav bar gets in the way of my launcher buttons, but i made it smaller and it seemed to help a big.. still in the way at times... I love the PIE full screen mode...
Anyone know of a 4.3 based Google Edition rom, I love the feel of Google Edition, but hate missing out on 4.3

OctOS is one I found the other day and it's 4.3. Give it a try!
The 4.3 ROM for the GS4 international leaked this week. Not sure if it is stable... and I think the internaional GS4 has diff radios, so youd have to have someone build a rom... but the leak might help as a starting point

That doesn't mean you shouldn't try it, it does mean make a good backup and don't be disappointed if it doesn't work for you, the developer would like your input, I'm sure!
