[Q] S-OFF Question - AT&T HTC One (M7)

Hi-
I currently have S-OFF configured on my phone. If I apply any stock RUU does it be reset to S-ON? I don't want that.
Thanks

No it doesn't

You only have to relock it before applying RUU.

No. The bootloader will show "locked" just like it did when the phone was new and unrooted.

Make sure that you're S-Off. Otherwise, that tool will not work for you.

Update Question

My phone's bootloader is locked, flashed stock RUU, unrooted and has stock recovery.
If I were to reroot, install twrp, unlock the bootloader but still keep the stock ruu, will the latest update get pushed to my phone once it arrives?
If the att update app is still in system/app/ then yes but you won't be able to install.

So if I'm with T-Mobile and not with At&t will I get the update?

No. I don't think so. But if the update does come out...custom roms will be made.

Eng hboot..

Can we flash the 1.54 eng hboot that's listed on the firewater site? My device came with 1.58 and I unlocked and used firewater for s-off. If we can flash that hboot, does it matter that I had the 1.58 OTA? I'm currently running Viper Rom.
