With root you can move an app to the system (/system/app) and it won't be removed after a hard reset.

App usage counter? An app that will tell me what app has been used and how many times?
Is there an app that will tell me what has been used and how many times recently? Preferably something that I can reset the counter on
My friend borrows my phone and I want to make sure he isn't accessing my private apps

I have no idea on an app that does that. But why not use an app such as app lock. That way you can lock your private apps with a pin or pattern to stop him or anybody using them? Hope that helps

Hey everytime I reset my phone it completely resets my app defaults. Not just apps saved on SD but stock internal apps. Its getting very frustrating and I want to know if this is a android 4.2.2 problem or manufacturer?
