can you give me the link to flash Stockrom for egypt and which odin version please

Please check and confirm if you have the I9100G (look under battery). If you have a simple bootloop, a factory reset should solve that softbrick. If not, go to SamMobile and download the appropriate firmware for your device. Then flash it via Odin (any version will do).

You could flash a kernel that can be flashed in stock recovery and includes CWM, then flash the Siyah kernel.

1)using mobile odin is safe.
2)no it does not give yellow triangle nor increase ur binary count.
3)u can install the .tar file of siyah kernel v4.1.5 directly from mobile Odin.
4)u can recieve OTA updates as long as ur on Stock Rom pertained to ur region.
5)Siyah kernel will not brick ur Phone for sure.

there are no conditions of any sort for u, either u have to use PC ODIN or Mobile Odin to flash the .tar file of Siyah kernel v4.1.5 ma8, and the same (siyah kernel) will install the CWM app for u automatically

main advantage of Siyah kernel is that it brings the latest CWM recovery for u so that u can flash any Custom Rom compatible with siyah on ur phone, which u cant do on stock kernel.
Also u can Dual boot Two roms of ur choice using siyah kernel, which u cant with a stock kernel

[Q] Trouble Flashing XXLSJ 4.2.1 from CM 10.1 nightly

I want to flash the leaked android 4.2.1 XXLSJ via Odin but I get these errors:
I've tried it with the latest Odin as well but still getting the same error. Any suggestions?
which kernel in cm10.1?
i think you have to download rom again... file must be corrupted.
---------- Post added at 08:47 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:24 PM ----------
ok change the file extension tar.md5 to .tar and flash again
I don't think there would be any problem with the downloaded file... But I will download it again.
Maybe I should have turned my anti virus off while extracting my downloaded file?????!!!
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
Just to inform you, you are not flashing the leaked xxlsj as that is 4.1.2 and Samsung your flashing 4.2
Sorry, your right. Yes. I want to install the 4.2

Yes it will be very different as the leak has allot of bugs. The public release will also need to re-partition your device to give an extra 1GB to system.

Will the fw be fine to flash as when I started the download it said it was for turkey. Lol
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
Yes you can flash for any country so long as the model is correct. MD3 isn't even the latest anymore. ME2 is (which you can download for Netherlands or Norway).
You'll lose root when you flash Via Odin.
Any particular reason you won't go for something like Wanam Lite ROM, flash through recovery?
Still a sort of noobie...not really had the guts to flash any rom yet

As a rule of thumb,
"Galaxy SIII Android Development" contains:
Samsung TouchWiz based custom ROMs
Unofficial CM, AOKP builds
"Galaxy SIII original Android Development" contains:
Samsung Kernels
Official CM, AOKP (AOSP) builds
AOSP Kernels
