Yeah its not that hard - just open up SystemUI.apk with 7-zip file manager search around for the background and replice it with the same but edited in photoshop to have alpha channel
I tried this. Edited status_bar_bg_tile.png in res/HDPI folder. Gave it 20% opacity. But its not working..
Also tried to do some smali edits, but couldnt get it working
Original Razr M home-screen launcher works well on any ICS/JB devices...
I have tested in my Neo v (fw 587) Working great.. the clock widget displays cool notifications of missed calls and sms :good:.. THIS IS NOT MY WORK AND I WILL NEVER BE CAPABLE OF DOING such a nice stuff :silly:

Ok do it as i did.. MAKE SURE DEVICE IS ROOTED..
1 .install any launcher from playstore..
2. delete this apks from system/app (Home.apk, DefaultThemes.apk, HomeAdds.apk, HomePreference.apk, WeatherWidget.apk)( using rootexlporer) tap r/w in system/app and you can copy and keep backup of your original apks somewhere in sd card.. and you can push it same way if you want it back
2. copy downloaded apks..
3. paste it in sytem/app (and make sure not filling rom memory less then 40 mb or 50mb, just to keep some space:silly:, see top for memory info).
4. change permissions to (of those apks which pasted.. see thumbnail for changing permissions )
finally Reboot.. there you are.. enjoy...now you can Uninstall the launcher which you have downloaded from playstore
May be you know how to push apps to system using RootExplorer..
just little info who are new and for those who are struggling to install this apps...
And sorry My English is not so good..
do you how to put on a status bar to operator logo ?? is it available or not. Or have anyone to do it.Please give information about this. Thanks alot.

Background is defined by framework and themes so modding app is pointless. I sugest installing Octane pack or part of that (find it in that part of forum) and you get normal background

You can use Xperia GX phonebook.apk instead of Xperia T phonebook
it is not transparent
But it has the "find contacts candidates" option like x-t????

Hey!
YES, it's supposed to say "rooted Xperia Z"
I'm looking for transparent status/softkeys bar! (About 80% maybe?)
I don't have ROM just ROOT, and I use XZR to install mods!
Remember, Sony Xperia Z!
Thanks alot!
You should find one HERE
I have tried, belive me :/

Just bear in mind that most sections have more than one page, so if you've not been through all 11, you're doing it wrong. I know there's one there as I went through every page the other day.
I do, and I have tried 2 different now...No luck, the bars just disappear :/

Try this:
Get a modded systemui.apk, and your original systemui.apk.
Open both files using 7-zip or Winrar (I only tested this using 7-zip, but I think winrar also will work).
Drag all the files from the modded apk to the original one, EXCEPT the file AndroidManifest.xml
Flash this new combined apk, and reboot.
Tried, wont work :/ Seems like I have to wait for a good solution! The best would be a zip to flash
