[Q] Goclever Orion 70 A741 USB Drivers - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have bought a Goglever Orion 70 A741 tablet. Unfortunately Android debugger doesn't recognize the device (that works only as MTP device or USB Mass storage).
Obviosly I have installed Google USB drivers from SDK manager, and have enabled the USB debugging in the device settings.
This is the first time that I cannot debug apps with an Anroid device, so I suppose that there is some specific driver for this tablet that I must install, but in the official Goclever site there is no driver to download.
Any suggestion?

USB driver for Cube K8GT

hi,
i wanted to start android development on a real, but not too expensive device.
So i bought this one: http://www.amazon.de/WiPad-Multitou...=sr_1_2?s=ce-de&ie=UTF8&qid=1337256098&sr=1-2
The manufactorer is CUBE: http://www.cube-tablet.com/cube-k8g...8-1-2ghz-camera-8gb-capacitive-tablet-pc.html
It works fine and i wanted to connect it to my PC, running windows 7.
The problem is: I could not find any usb driver on the (chinese) manufactorer site.
In the device manager the device was listed as "K8GT_W" and marked with "no driver installed".
Can someone please tell me, if there is a driver for this device or how to use some "generic" usb device driver with this device?
I downloaded the google USB driver with the android SDK manager.
The i selected "update driver" from the device maanger + selected the google usb driver download directory.
This shows the message "K8GT_W could not be installed".
The manufacturers is CUBE:http://www.vaful.com/cube-k8gt-delu...roid-40-capacitive-touch-screen-p-100130.html
I also encountered the same problem!

Adb Drivers not working properly

Hey I have a tab that i recently upgraded to Android 4.0. I want to continue developing on Android with a physical device and to manually root it.
In 2.3.3 I was able to connect it to my pc by debugging mode and work with eclipse. Now I have upgraded my tab to Android 4.0 and I set the debugging on. I connect it to the computer and 3 options were displayed:
MTP, PTP and Mass Storage
I have tried the 3 options installing the adb usb drivers from my sdk and Eclipse doesn’t recognize my Android Tab.
Where is my problem, what can I do?

[Q] Using USB Host API - cannot enumerate device

I am quite interested in usage USB host ability on my china no-name tablet based on Allwinner A13 CPU. I'd like to use it as GUI front-end for my embedded project with STM32F4 ARM microcotroller. So far I use laptop as the GUI for this device. STM32F4 is connected via USB as a vendor-specified device. I use WinUSB library on laptop to enumerate connected device and to open endpoints.
I'd like to use tablet instead of PC. So I looked to the USB host API on Android and tried to enumerate devices. However I couldn't enumerate any device - includes mouse or flash drive, which works perfectly in the system, but getDeviceList from UsbManager returns emtpy list.
I installed USB Host Diagnostics application and run a test. All results are yes, only items "Claims support" and "Device detected" in Android API shows no. But there's an item "Device detected" in Rooted API, which is yes.
I'm quite new to Andoroid developing. What is Rooted USB host API? How can I use it? Thank you for your answer.

[Q] MTP has stopped working

I have installed the 10.1.3 Cyanogenmod Rom on my Nook Tablet, and everything was working normally. Specifically, I could connect it to my Winodws XP system via USB and transfer data via MTP. I wanted to repartition the internal storage from the 11 and 1 GB shared. The process required installed ABD, and I didn't understand at first that this processes required ADB access in recovery mode. I was able to repartition the device the way I wanted and reinstall everything, however, afterwards I could no long access this device over USB as an MTP device, or a PTP device, or a USB device. I think this is probably a driver problem, but I don't know what to do to fix it.
I'm using Windows XP SP3, I have Windows Media Player 11.
When I have My Nook set as an MTP device, the system looks like it is installing an MTP drive, but does not complete. The Entry in device manager only describes is as an "MTP Device" but that there is no driver installed, and keeps prompting in the system tray that it is installing an "MTP Device" driver over and over again.
If PTP is selected, is shows as a USB still camera, but I cannot access any thing on it, and in USB mode I just have a USB device in device manager with an "!" on it.
Any suggestion on how I can get the correct drivers reinstalled?
Thank
For me Unfortunately, MTP application has stopped problem is solved !!!

Mediatek MT6735 phone,USB 038d:2002, reports as "Linux File-CD Gadget USB Device"
Hi....i have a homtom ht6 phone, MT6735 processor.
...**correction: its USB 0e8d:2002 ***
its screens is broken and i try to backup my data.(so i cant see..!..and touch)
usb debugging is turned on (adb),used before , but i have then set USB port to "charge only"...hmm...cant change that..
i have installed the SP Flash Tool along with its usb drivers being installed on win7. (total 4 drivers i guess)
i understand that newer phones (this android 5.1) do not support standard usb flash drive when connected, but the MTP protocoll....when connected to pc via usb.
When the phone is on, it reports on linux, lsusb, as mediatek Inc. 0e8d:2002, not being detected by linux filemanager....its a EFI file system.!
On Win7, it reports as "Linux File-CD Gadget USB device", a drive letter is assigned but size on win7 show 0 , zero.
googling that gadget driver i found it is a a two way driver, serial and flash drive.
no more info found.
Question 1: does anybody know details about this driver and how to use it?
Question 2: is indeed usb 0e8d:2002 the MTP port?...then howto change drivers in win7.
Question 3: as being USB on "chargeOnly", can ADB bein gused in recovery? (maybe someone can check that out)
many many thanks
