And so it begins!
Nicely done, been wanting to try this. For some reason, auto-flash from the app didn't work for me, just rebooted with the old kernel. I have twrp, maybe that's the issue.
The zip worked fine, and I am now experiencing the Franco kernel goodness. Thanks!!!
Can't wait for supercurio's display control.

By the way if someone asks I'm pushing the sources to git, but its going really slow for a while already.

Team EOSJB 4.1.1 GrouperNIGHTLIES
Continuing on from the success of the EOS ICS roms, we present to you EOS3, based on JELLYBEAN!
It is the goal of Team EOS to develop and maintain the highest performing and most stable AOSP based rom for an array of platforms. For the latest news on Team EOS releases make sure you follow @teameos on twitter and on IRC on Freenode in #teameos.

NOTE: Team EOS, it’s members, friends, dogs, cats, and associates are in no way responsible for any loss of data or device functionality. Use this at your own risk!
--
A quick note on Nightlies: NIGHTLIES ARE DEVELOPMENT BUILDS. They are automatically generated every now and then, and represent the compilation of the latest commits to the code repository. While every effort is made ensure that the commits that are accepted are stable and do not have a negative impact to the overall performance and function of the builds it is not possible to test every aspect of a commits impact to the overall repo prior to it’s inclusion in a given build. As a result it is entirely possible that instabilities may be introduced as a result of a given days commits. That is the nature of the nightly system, and the risk that is taken using the latest code changes to the project.
EOS is an AOSP based rom. It is developed and maintained by Team EOS and is the culmination of our own in house development efforts.
Team EOS Nightly builds: http://goo-inside.me/devs/teameos/roms/eos3/nightlies/grouper/
G-Apps Package
Because this is an AOSP based rom Google Apps are not included in the base rom. To install Google Apps please flash the following package after installing the base rom:
Temporary Gapps package gapps

Because these are nightly builds the included features are constantly evolving, we do not provide a change log manually. Instead please see the changes on jenkins for your build.

Kernel:
Kernel Note: This rom is currently using the stock kernel, so you can find the sources from aosp.

Installation Notes:
These builds are designed to be installed from your favorite recovery.
Perform a full wipe (read Factory Reset) prior to installing this over ANY ICS or JB based rom.
BUGS!
If you find strange or otherwise unexplained errors please report them here: https://bugs.teameos.org/ Please include logcats and as thorough a description of the issue and what lead up to the issue as possible. With out this we will be unable to track down these errors.

One thing I seem to be having issues with every once in awhile is auto rotate getting stuck. When I come out of an app in landscape it remains stuck and I have to toggle to get it back to default.

........Cornerstone.....?
Auto rotation doesn't seem to be working.
Update. The rotation sensor isn't functioning at all. Not working in temple run either. Maybe the driver is missing.
Also thanks for including the aosp browser. It's s much better than chrome. I don't know why Google didn't include it in the stock ROM. Its so much smoother and faster.

I was digging chrome, mainly because of the syncing between phone and computer, but lack of full screen was really pissing me off. I don't like opera or dolphin all that much. The stock browser is perfect. I haven't been able to side load it though.

Hey guys, I'm working on porting Liquid Smooth to the N5110 and am gauging interest.
Any volunteer testers?
So far, I've ported a copy based on Note 2 using Sbrissen's CM10.2 as a base.
Here is the link:

You will need to flash this then gapps.
Please flash at your own risk!
This is a test only.
I am currently trying to get one built from source too.
Thanks goes out to Sbrissen for using his CM10.2 n5110 rom as a base. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2391516
Also to the Liquid Smooth team who are helping me to build a source rom (coming soon).

It was meaningless, since it requires root access and I didn't have those. And I noticed that when I go into the active windows list (not sure what it's called) I noticed that the pictures of apps and the *kill all apps from the list* -button was pointing to my left when I was holding the tablet normally (home buttons down). I switched to PAC-ROM but I'm willing to try a new build when it's ready
So I changed the root settings from Developer settings to Only Apps and the root access started working and so did the Performance Control. I guess the problem was at the Apps and ADB -setting, so until now it's working great
New bug: The rom makes the tablet reboot randomly! And I have noticed the battery-life isn't so great but I suppose it's because of there is still cellular network enabled in this rom.
Was there any headway made? I love liquid smooth.

These are my personal builds i have been using and compiling.
Full credit goes to the dev's of these great ROMS.
Not responsible for bricked/soft bricked/ or in some possible way any ACME product blowing up your phone.
Just a note when building these roms sometimes I dont make clean before builds which makes the output zip the same name as whenever the last time i run make clean. The builds themselves are up to date and will try to include a time of repo sync so you know what was merged at time of build.
OK. so what we have here are two builds one being PAC-rom and the other being AOKP. What im doing here is sharing the builds i make for myself. Some of these are bone stock straight synced from either roms source. Others are going to be builds that i have included cherry picked items to include in builds. PLEASE NOTE : if the build has cherrypicks in them which I will list individually and seperately for each rom i will include the link to which i picked it from. These features are not merged into the roms source so it is very possible there are some bugs while i do try and read most of the comments i may miss something from time to time. Both ROMs compiled with CAF kernel.
Yes you can use multirom select cm11 kernel when installating. If you need instructions on how to flash these files they probably aren't for you as some may be highly experimental while trying to bring you previews of what's happening in the future of both of these ROMs.
PAC-rom (3-23): https://www.dropbox.com/s/xd7ilfmtjfgmhap/pac_hammerhead_4.4.Alpha-1_20140323-175840.zip

AOKP: https://www.dropbox.com/s/lj10obnrvrwimxi/aokp_hammerhead_kitkat_unofficial_2014-03-18.zip

AOKP 3-18-14 cherry picks:
All 4 parts of smart call
http://gerrit.aokp.co/#/c/16306/
Please donate to the developers of PAC-rom and AOKP. A lot of work goes into these ROMs so that we can have much better experiences on our phones.
1st ! Download
THX !
AOKP build finally uploaded. Sorry got busy at work. Also if you see anything on gerrit in the "open" section that you would like to try out let me know I will do my best to get it to you. Thinking about cherry picking the option to turn notification light on while screen is on. Going to wait a little bit as it may get merged soon.

EDIT - Well it booted fine, is running fine. I did flash elemental kernel wit it, obviously the cm one, so thanks allot, great job. But for me, I'm a theme guy & I can't believe the theme chooser is still borked. Instead of ranting & raving & taking a pic of my bloody knuckles, I'll just say, I'll keep an eye out. Thanks. I haven't noticed any open commits about theme chooser yet and I don't have the knowledge to fix myself.
For everyone else will have new build sometime tomorrow. Lack of time led to mistyping in code I was going to include build failed of course and I'm at work now and its to hard to edit the code through my phone to my PC. I usually run the builds from my phone but getting into editing code takes like 5 minutes to do something that could be done in 1 if I'm sitting in front of P.C.

ChangeLog
build 4/12/16
Initial device bring up
removed some fm radio files from cm
removed stock lwp
removed cm reporting
removed cm ota
introduced latest ubertc
removed inline kernel and apps below (some people didnt want )
future features XD (when i have time :
enable disable navbar from settings--->buttons
status bar network meter
The apps I like to use /mods i do to stock are as follows:
Busybox : https://play.google.com/store/apps/d....busybox&hl=en
Adaway: http://adaway.org
Kernel auditor: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ladiutor&hl=en
LMT (pie launcher) :http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1330150
liveboot (verbose boot):https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...liveboot&hl=en
People keep asking me how to get my custom pie launcher and what my theme is
I simply just disabled my nav bar by adding "qemu.hw.mainkeys=1 "
to my build.prop you can use this app
im using this theme for black and red and matched the colors in the settings of LMT and positioned pie to launch from the bottom
any questions just let me know and please try to provide a logcat! Thanks for testing :highfive:

Do we need to flash elite kernel or can we use a different custom kernel?

The elite kernel team pre-configures their kernel
cool feature of it tho is you can enable grey-scale mode in kernel auditor and it makes your battery life insane (because your screen is only black and white) kinda like the Samsung super battery saver on the galaxy series i just set a tasker profile that changes kernel auditor and some system settings
@Dreamlogix
I've cleaned installed it and my SIM can't be detected :/
Hmm I'll have to take a look when I'm home anyone else having same issue?

True! I was asking because I find it kind of odd that you have a linaro kernel on a uber build ROM. About to flash now & check it out?

I've had this happen on several different ROMs lately. Normally, it will get detected after a few minutes.
Otherwise, popping the SIM out and putting it back in has solved it for me.
