Hello,
Looking ICS for LWW (yes, I know about the section with ROM's, but there is so much that I can not decide [user saqib Nazm are several]). LWW is not mine, but my sister, so I can not test the ROM's. That must be the only one. JB is not an option (Orange brand - do not want to pay for unlocking BL).
I have a few requirements with respect to this ROM:
no major errors
stable
operating the radio ...
ROM may look like AOSP or with the overlay Xperia.
I also have a question about installing custom ICS - in instrkucji it says "Make sure you are on ICS Build .587", I mean. I have to first install the a clean ICS from SE, and only then custom ROM?
- sorry for my bad english
Just check which rom is available on a locked bootloader and choose the one you like (design, features, etc)
Because asking for the best rom is not allowed

Hello & First of all 'HI' to all the members of XDA-Forum!!
I have been visiting this forum recently since i got my XU.
I want your help in flashing the JellyBAM ROM on my XU coz am still a newbie in flashing stuffs. I have certain queries which when answered will result whether I should flash it or stay with my Stock ROM.
So first of all, details about my XU:
Model - ST25i
Firmware - Stock ICS with some minor customizations & CWM v 5 installed.
Bootloader Status - Locked
Now questions,
1) Will JellyBAM require unlocked Bootloader?
2) If yes for above question, then which data will actually get wiped during the Bootloader unlocking process? My User & System apps + Data have been backedup using Titanium Backup and are in the Internal 4GB memory. Will they also get deleted?
3) What else should be taken care of?
4) And lastly, Instructions to flash JellyBAM.
Plz do answer the questions, you need not write long detailed explanations as I have enough knowledge related to these stuffs.
Thank you very much!!
Thers no JB for xperia U.
As of right now, JellyBAM rom is not working. The original developer based it on a CM10 base but unfortuntately, he didnt notice that the branch was not booting. So till CM10 gets fixed by FXP, I dont see any likelihood of Jellybam working
Jellybean doesn't work yet on xperia u.
Don't try jellybam because it won't boot.

Its just some Sony files slapped on top of CM10 official bro. By no means is it working as of right now. The original Dev didnt have the device so he didnt check.
Install CM9.

I don't have any experience in Development of ROM's so I really don't know but I know one thing i.e. it takes hard work to compile 3 ROM's (AOKP + Paranoid + CM) into one and make a powerful ROM.
I know that and by no means am I disrespecting the developer. His rom is by all means a really good one but I am talking about the Xperia U version. He copied over his modified files onto a non-working CM10 base. Thats the issue here.
I understand that my previous post does seem disrespectful of the original Dev but it wasnt intended. I assumed that you didnt understand my previous reply so I simplified it as simple as I could although I admit I ought to have phrased differently
Sorry if it seemed disrespectful to you or the Dev. No disrespect was intended.

Hi, I'm new of the forum. I recently installed the Jelly Vanilla 5.1, but there are some bugs that I would like to subscribe to, and if possible, remedy: the LED for notifications does not work, there isn't the Bravia Engine 2, does not sync contacts with Facebook, and finally, I have a problem with the music player, infact you can not modify the information of a song and the throw does not work. Also the lock screen when the music player is running and the screen is lock, became dark (see photos).
Jelly Vanilla v5.1 is based on Extended CM10 and it's not a mature ROM. I intalled v5 a week ago but it was heavy and laggy so I went back to a more stable ICS ROM (now I'm using jjHybrid ROM). If you are in need of a ROM for daily use, I suggest that you must choose an ICS based one. By the way, Jelly Vanilla v5.1 supports Bravia Engine but not v2.
Thanks, but for me is the best and beautiful rom I've ever tried I hope in future updates

There is a fix for the lockscreen with music player(see photos)?
jelly vanilla v5.1 wifi not working
in my xperia mini (st15i) wifi is not working in the new jelly vanilla 5x dtz the only bug in this new rom
When you go to flash the kernel, then install the module for the wifi?
I also noticed that the phone will reboot a couple of times a day, and that often crashed and stops even if you have to open the address book. The music player is then incredibilmento slow to switch from one track to another.

P.S: I am really a newbie but not a noob at all, ok now lewt's get into your problem, zellycream is made for hdpi device with a pixel density higher than 220ppi and with larger display resolution ( like xperia ray, xperia neo v, arc s, arc etc...), so it is impossible to fit you well on mdpi device like lww, however i suggest you to use xperia ray's one, it is not guaranteed that it will fit you well but may be a bit better, I need some infos however: how did you installed it, are you rooted with locked bootloader or with an unlocked one?? and is it smooth really?? and is it working well on lww with no bugs?? Thanks ( if my reply helped you please do not hesitate to hit the thanks button)

Nobody reported if it boots. But I think so, and everything working, is stock based so no hardware bugs.

Okay I changed test status to stable. It's working perfectly, just the advanced volume bug(first time you turn up or down the volume on each boot i will give fc)

bro thanks for the rom, it s going really good, but on first boot if u increase volume or decrease volume, it s fc, even in settings, movies, one time android.phone has stopped, immediatelly it gets ok, now every thing is working, u have mentioned in op samsung sounds, but it is only for touch sounds, i search in ring tones, all r from sony only, any how all r working fine here, keep up the good work, will wait for further updates, particularly looks r awesome in phone book, popups , thank u very much.:good:
