I have I9300 with Omega V8.1, kindly few questions:
1. What is the difference between Omega 8.1 and omega 48.1 in the aspect of stability, speed, battery life etc?
1.1 Is there any benefit of V48.1 in front of V8.1 ?
2. How do I set caller ring, The only option is phone ring ?
3. Sometimes when someone call it rings 1 sec and turn ring off automatically - how to resolve it ?

I have used alot of AOKP based ROMS on my galaxy s2 like D4rom,resurrection ICS,Hydrogen etc.
i have some questions to ask just to confirm whether it happens to only my phone or every one....
1. How can i disable my proximity sensor in AOKP based roms?Call settings dont show the option.
2. Sometimes when i try to call someone the screen goes blank but the call connects..and i mean BLANK..it doesn't turn off i can still see the notification bar.
3. The phone stucks at the Starting logo (with the triangle) a bit longer than usual.
4. The app ROM toolbox doesnot help at all when it comes to customizing the themes.
The most important of all is i just wana know how to turn off the proximity sensor on AOKP based roms.

Samsung has designed the phone to suite their firmwares it...

I can't post in dev forum so I have to post here...
I really love the blue themed omega rom and I only have one problem.
After a week or so after I install and FULL WIPE the phone suddenly changes settings so silent mode doesn't work.
I want my silent mode to be silent and then I mean NO ring and NO vibration.
How is this happening...
It's like this all the time, it is the same in every version of omega...
Is there a solution for this or do I have to abandon omega because of this.
are you talking about Omega AOKP or Official based??
on official based are you not able to check this? settings/sound/silent mode/check the mute. (no ring no vibration)

if you are so lazzy to upgrade to newer version of the same ROM (Omega XWLPD), simply forget such minor bugs...
So you mean that if I use another version the bug is fixed?

I'm on rooted stock I9100 ICS 4.0.4 LPW.
Can someone direct me or send me a modified phone.apk and contacts.apk with:
1. Non increasing ring tone.
2. Call recording.
3. Noise reduction off.
4. Bigger caller contact picture.
5. Unlimited joined contacts.
Also, is there a way to enable CRT off animation?
Please help.
I wouldn't mind changing to custom ROM, however, most of them are buggy or battery draining and I find myself getting back to stock ROM but missing a few simple customization.

Use the ICS version of this ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1569686) the thread and dev are amazing and its stable its just stock with some wonderful additions

I guess he means stock room and haptic feedback vibration problems in 4.1.2 compared to 4.1.1.
I notice this with JZO54K.I9300XXELLA or XXELL4. Many apps with vibration have it always at max intensity no matter the slider settings in Sound...

Kindly your assistance with few issues:
1. What is recommended Kernel for this ROM (ciyah and etc.), the battery is going very fast?
2. Where can I find Call recording MOD for this ROM?
3. Where can I find MOD for setting next/previous mode by volume keys?
4. Is there in FM radio application for this ROM?
5. What is the functionality of NAVIGATION RING - The only ring that I use is in the lock screen (what's the difference?)

What rom what kernel posts not allowed .
Its your choice read the rom thread .
2. Where can I find Call recording MOD for this ROM?
By searching likewise for your other questions .
