Ok... im back again, for the some reason, Sense5, but ever since then i been trying to find ways on how to port a sense5 rom for rezound. I really need help on this, and what i tried didnt work. But i not gonna giving upon this. So can anyone, who is good at porting manufacturer rom to any phone, or know how to porting a rom to any phone, that can help me out on porting a rom. Given our devs who have ports other versions of Sense over to the Rezound haven't gotten Sense 5 working fully yet, I don't think anyone is going to be able to show you how.
Check the Dev section, talk to those guys, see what's happened so far and see what pointers they can give you.
Thats going to be hard to do since porting an ion kernel for a non-ion device has been hard on the devs. I dont know how SebastianFM ported the kernel for the sensation but that must have took a hell of a lot of work. He did stuff from scratch. I think they would have to put me in a crazy home after that.

Hey guys, I've never cooked a ROM before but I want to give it a try. Now someone on the Desire HD forums used a Desire S 2.3 ROM and ported it for the DHD.
I want to do the same thing, but I have a whole new plan on what to add to the ROM. I just need to know how I can get the Desire S ROM to work on the DHD like he did.
Are they cross-flashable? Meaning can I just flash the Desire S ROM onto the DHD and it will work normally?
If not, could someone please explain to me how I would port this ROM over so that I can use it with the DHD?

I don't know which one I'm going to chose yet, but I can figure that out later once I learn how to port it over to the DHD.

i was really like this phone and look forward there will have a customer Rom for it. but i was disppointed...
It's still a new phone, and there isn't much developer interest in it yet. I'd say that we'll have a fully working working custom ROM for it in a few months.

Last week my phone died, so i was forced to buy a new one. I wanted to get a cheap phone with a dual core processor. With that in mind i bought myself the Alcatel One Touch X'Pop 5035D. Now don't get my wrong, i am fairly happy with the phone but i was used to phone that were rooted and had some community behind it to make that happen. Now i realise this is a fairly new phone that is a mid-end smartphone but i really hope someone could look in to this phone.
The only thread that i found about this phone was pretty much dead and i was hoping a new topic would put some new light on this phone.
I myself ain't someone that can develop anything for this phone since i just don't have the required skills to start a project like this. Now the only thing i can do is ask the following questions:
1) Is anyone able to Root this device?
2) Would it be a possibility for someone to make a ROM for this phone?
I would be able to test any upcoming ROM's or Roots, so thats no issue.
I really hope to get some responses since this phone has the hardware to run jellybean.
Oh and Alcatel released the sources on their phones on sourceforge, that might be helpfull:

I have this phone LG Optimus L4 II (E-440g), I don't seem to find ANYTHING for it. Not a recovery or a custom ROM. Can anyone help me a little? I don't wanna brick it, but can I get some help to get the recovery or what can I do? Do I make a copy of my current ROM and start modding it? It's sure it will work? Besides, I need the recovery anyways, right? to flash it? Damn, it's hard to even begin when there's not much about this phone.
