Hellybean is my favorite ROM on 3 devices I have used now. I compile it unofficially for my herc and Skyrocket atm. I do not have a quincyatt but I compiled from source. The rom creator is DerTeufel1980. So needless to say this is an unofficial build and if is ok with him it will show up in your Dev area. You can click the links in my sig for info on the ROM screenshots etc, and github to see whats what. Also I have compiled a few ROM's look threw my goo, So don't be scared Hellybean-20130917-quincyatt.zip is bad ass fast and smooth. It has all the transparent goodies Quicktiles, Trebuchet's app drawer, Custom lock screens, slim pie, pa halo, appbar, TRDS and so much more. It is synced with CM as of today also. If your on CM10.2 and stock kernel, you can most likely dirty flash and be ok. Most likely lol Enjoy, and please give some feedback

I may be in the mood for a test drive. if it bricks, maybe it will be a good reason for early upgrade

well here is the deal so far..............
halfway through initial boot, it rebooted or seemed to. then it came up.
first time I have seen the CM account screen. no biggie. let it sit about 15 and rebooted. came back up and showed "CM has stopped". ok'd it and went through CM intro screen. no problem.
enabled developers option with build taps.
gmail started loading apps and got a reboot after a handful of apps. it came back up and is continuing.
gonna try and not fiddle too much until it finishes setting up, but that the story so far
fingers crossed, stay tuned for updates
tinkering and toiling for about an hour and half now, and in 1 word, I will say..................................HELLYYEAH!!!
adjusting things like the interface gives you even some more adjustments giving you more freedom to fine tune. example, I changed DPI to 240 (has many presets to choose plus custom) cause I like that, but I have old eyes and changing font size, you adjust % not norm, lg or xl. pretty kewl.
I don't use camera much, but focal seems to work fine. first pic didn't go to gallery, but all others did. whether its part of focal or not (I don't know) but whether in camera or gallery, it toggles back and forth nicely.
I am also liking the toggles / notification abilities to modify and I have them melded together. have notifications and small toggles, with still the option trigger for big toggles in corner.
2 things so far..........in contacts with dark hellybean, names are dark. not black, but gray on black. its doable. and I am not sure whats going on with XPOSED. getting a "xposed has not been tested", " can try if feel adventurous" ???
oops......reboot
no power button wake problems yet
haven't hit everything yet, but so far, nice. stock settings
Thanks Your Dudeness, gonna give this a spin as soon as my nandroid gets done! :good:
Hmm...
Downloading .. Will check out soon...I'm doing complete wipe ...be back

I think we need to update xposed still, I never play with per app dpi myself. The only thing not working in this build should be in settings under device the more button will cause a fc, and we got a logcat for it today so next build that should be working correctly. Do you think this ROM would be a nice addition to the Developer area for this device? Could you post a few screen shots. One from about phone showing Kernel would be really cool. Oh use tricksterMod to mess with Kernel settings other apps may cause issues or not work with all the features. The Kernel is @Cl3Kener's baby he has spent alot of time on it.

I think you will be pleasantly surprised at the speed and smoothness and amount of customization Halo Pie Appbar all the goodies.
Running real good for a little while now. Very smooth, no FC's or RR's, other than what you pointed out in the settings menu. Regular and Focal camera and video camera no problems there. Definitely a keeper and would be a great addition to the development area. I give it two thumbs up! :good::good:

I think this would make a fine addition and would have many happy customers. I have the Trickster Mod, but I believe in letting this settle real good. too many adjustments too fast and you lose track as to what could be causing issues. it seems to be settling nicely as I believe it is getting a bit snappier and still very smooth.
you may find some people here a not quite as patient as myself. they could very well become rather anxious as to an alternate kernel compatible with this. just a heads up. I am sure you ran into similar folks over on S2 thread. there are some really good people here, but you cant have good without evil.
4.3 here is still breaking some new ground, but I really think you are in the mix with this one. my Antutu benchmark was like 10280, which is the highest I have had with any rom

And I screwed up on the build too lol. I should have removed mpdecision and thermald from system/bin. I fixed it on my git , so I wont forget again. Also DerTeufel fixed the fc on devices more button, So that will be fixed next build and unlock the advanced settings I believe. Its compiling for my Herc right now so I will know more soon.

Stock CM kernel would work as a replacement. I am sticking with Diablo as its what I build for my Herc and skyrocket, and quincy's share same repo's. Would be a pita to switch for each build since all my changes are on github. It also improves the speed and adds alot of features to the ROM over the CM kernel. I usually run Lionheart BFQ @ 1782 on my Herc. With Temperature throttle no worries of a melt down. Highest Antutu for me this rom kernel on herc is 13822
So far so good... Dark keyboard would be cool.......I like the kernel and how things are going so far ... Focal pictures showing up just grey but gonna see if it fixes itself....daily flasher here and that's not a joke ... Add this to development is a great idea in my opinion ...what's a good temp throttle you use I usually just do screen off and on profiles cuz I under clock ...but I want to give some over clocking a chance just for a min .... See ya in development threads ..Good job :beer::beer:

I put the dark keyboard back in and merged DerTeufel's fix for the more button fc. Also forgot to remove a couple files that can conflict with kernel. Merged witth CM last night, so I will post another build in my goo tonight. Goo manager will tell you its there if you use it. I am really hoping to build these Officially for herc, sky, quincyatt, quincytmo and maybe jfltetmo. Still talking to DerTeufel about it and I am in KCMO he is in Germany so we are playing tag

Not sure what the screen on profile is your speaking of? If your using setcpu I wouldn't recommend it
TricksterMod is tried and tested and can enable, change all features of Kernel with it.
But very true every phone and CPU is just a lil different.
here are cpu features
- Kernel version 3.0.95 - Compiled with GCC 4.7
- I/O schedulers CFQ, BFQ, ROW, NOOP, DEADLINE, SIO, VR, and ZEN
- Governors Intellidemand, InteractiveX, Ondemandx, Lazy, Wheatley, Smartass, Badass, Lionheart, Samsung and normal Stock options too.
- CPU OC - 1836 MHz
- GPU OC to 320 MHz for 3D & 266 MHz 2D
- Mpdecision - Showp1984
- Thermal - Showp1984 - Keeps your phone from overheating while Overclocked.
- Fsync Toggle - "Turn it off for better performance but be aware that you may encounter data loss if your phone crashes"
- USB Fast Charge
- Sweep2Wake
- Voltage Control - Car vs Driver
- Frandom Lag Reducer
- Smaller sized kernel due to XZ compression
- IO Boosters
- Frontswap Support
- Fixed Annoying Bluetooth Wakelock
Your device wont like much higer than 1728 most likely
So what are you using to clock your CPU ? Setcpu is working fine for me setting 1242-192powersave screen off ....1242-192wheatley screen on .....profiles ......you using trickster?

This is an undervolt test version of my new StupidFast Kernel v1.2.3. This is a TEST release (NO VOODOO). This kernel aims to be fast, compatible, stable, and have good battery life. It is based on my StupidFast v1.0.36.
Code:
Changes since 1.2.2:
Fix for the 0.5-1.0 second pause/lag opening apps/drawer
Scheduling Tweaks
I/O Tweaks
Changes since 1.1.23:
Stock 1ghz @ 1225mV
Changes since 1.1.14:
Tweaked minfree settings
tweaked io scheduler
more compiler flags for cortex/hummingbird cpu
tweaked wifi scan interval to help with battery life
Changes since 1.0.36:
removed custom boot animation to trim size.
using kernel jhash3 instead of jhash2.
optimized compiler flags for the hummingbird cpu.
changed some kernel scheduling timings.
BLN disabled by default (configurable with [url=http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=823922]this app[/url])
You will see that the custom boot animation was removed. It's okay. If you already have v1.0.36, 1.1.4 or 1.1.23 installed on your phone, the animation will stay. If you're new to my kernels with v1.2.3, your old boot animation will be there.
I'm not seeing any lag on the phone. Gallery opens pretty much instantly. Settings->Applications->Manage opens pretty much instantly. Launcher Pro+ pretty much instantly appears when the phone starts up.
Testers could NOT find any audio problems with this kernel using the media player in JT's Clean ROM. I've tested Youtube and Pandora and have had no audio issues. Also, we couldn't find any issues with USB mount/unmount, settings changes, etc.
As always, if you find a bug or what you think might be a bug, let me know. This is NOT the final stable release of the 1.2 kernel. Stay tuned to #samsung-fascinate on FreeNode or @geeknik on Twitter!

sweet. dowlloading now.
Downloading also.
I like your kernels, but I just noticed I am getting a super weird output in ADB when I try using that. I also have superdark ROM so it could be either one.
Ok, I just rebooted and checked again and all is running fine with 1.2.2 in recovery, but not in running android system, must mean its the rom.
Downloading now.. went with full full wipe with jts clean, and still getting popping, on asop player, double twist, pandora
Besides the battery life which is supposed to be increased, is there any other benefit to UV ???? Longer processor life, runs cooler, etc.
What are the drawbacks, if any ???? Does performance take a big hit, etc.
I'm asking more in general terms. Obviously I will observe first hand with this kernel, which I'm downloading now.

In theory, as I know computer not cell phone, UV will allow it to run cooler, which does mean last longer (but is that really a problem?) and use less juice while still being as fast as before. If it runs stable you will not see a performance hit and it will better with the battery. It will just freeze your phone if its too low and requires more juice, really no harm can be done, overvolting is more dangerous as that burns up cpus, but you overvolt to make the higher frequency stable. Simple overclocking principals apply, you want the lowest voltage for your cpu frequency.

are you upping the CPU to 200mhz to run those? I am doing that and its just fine, although I never had a popping problem at 100mhz either. I just set the min to 200 because that cleans up a little bit of the lag too.
Possibly related, every once and a while my phone will just decide to press a soft key on its own, what is that? (that causes a slight skip in the music when I am playing it)

see if listening to it while hooked to power recreates the problem... i noticed for me atleast its only when plugged in...
I have it up to USB and its not skipping or popping right now, I am also using mixzing
v1.2.2 is the least fastest of all the geeknik kernels for me. There is 1 almost 2 second pause loading and exiting apps unless it was already in memory.
Still faster then everyone elses kernel. And so far battery life looks to be way better on this one but I haven't had it long enough to say for sure.
Nothing has changed on my audio popping issues so I am still using SetCPU at 200min still. I am short 6 hours of battery life like this by my best guestimate... which isn't a big concern for me- just reporting for those who need to make it thru a day without a charger nearby.
Never had any FC's with USB.
Touchwiz/JT's Super Clean ROM
And a thank you to geeknik for all your efforts! love how your pumping these out!
Kernal runs great! No unwanted sounds from the stock music player in jt's rom. USB works just fine. Thanks for your hard work!
are you using setcpu? if so that helped me fix it bumping min to 200... any one else having the problem might try that...
Interestingly enough, this kernel does seem a touch slower than the 1.2.23 regular voltage kernel. Hangs just the slightest bit when firing up and exiting dolphin browser and xda app. Still, appears to be MUCH better with battery life, as the previous geeknik kernels were ravaging my battery.
Definite progress but not quite perfect imho. Still thanks for all your work geeknik, you're killing it with these.
Also fyi, running custom blackhole, with sns and lp

This kernel is running fairly smooth, like the other 2. I can deal with the extra 0.5 second delay when first opening an app, as long as BLN is optional and battery life is extended. Thank you very much for taking the time to come up with these kernels for us. Other kernel providers tend to make their products less accessible for us XDA users, but you take the stress out of the search. Thank you again.

Re-read the first post of this thread, there's a link to how to enable/disable bln
The uv kernel is a winner of course. I test these kernels for geeknik before he throws them up for the masses. Not just running quadrant [although I do that too] but going thru the real phone stuff itself. The manage applications load, replacing new dock shortcuts, gallery, apps and stuff everything we actually want to see improve with.
I for one never had battery issues with previous stupidfast kernels but I know some did, same this music crackling. It seems to me most of you that do are either running blackhold or deodexed rom though and quite humbly I'd look their for your culprit moreso than the kernel. If there was a music skipping issue from the kernel itself it would manifest itself across the boards but it doesnt.
Anyway, battery life is going to be stellar trust me, under light-moderate use Im only using like 2% per hour here swyping 8-10 texts per hour here, very good indeed
Hey Saps- I see ya on all the forums and your contributions have really helped me out...
That being said I keep seeing an overlook of real world usage in these testings. Can you guys test beyond stock apps? I mean checking stock should be the first thing you do obviously but how many people use the stock music player or the stock browser, etc? I am betting most the people that have the knowledge enough to test these kernels and ROMs aren't using stock functionality and apps.
Please test this kernel with the PowerAMP or Music PlayerPro music apps before writing off the issue.
Use Dolphin to check the internet, etc. Use K-9 to check email, etc.. ya know- use the popular apps during testing also if you could?
Audio cracking, FC's with the USB settings, and I even heard mention of live wallpapers having issues. These reports coming from 3 reported different ROMs.
How are you missing this?
I myself have had great success with battery life on the Stupid Fast kernels. Better then stock kernel for sure. But I've been having to run my battery faster by using my workaround to avoid the music crackling.
JT's Super Clean ROM using TouchWiz
Just suggestions so we can all get on the same page and enjoy these badass mods.
P.S. What ROM are you using during testing of this kernel? I'll gladly switch to fix the issues
I had been having alot of issues with battery drain so I just Odined back to 2.1, formatted my internal and external sd cards and rooted my phone. I've been using 2.1 for a couple of weeks and I can't stand how sluggish the stock rom is. So I'm back on the hunt for a custom rom. I'm looking for a Stable rom in which everything works normal. I need it to be speedy and at this point I don't care what version of android the rom is. I found this only to be disappointed that the multiupload link to the rom is down... Any ways im just looking for a normal looking stockish rom that isn't as gaudy any of the team toxic stuff but might have the same feature sets and stableness to go along with it. Sorry if this is to long.
if you like stock, you may want to just apply the Voodoo lagfix to your phone. That should solve your sluggishness.
Well the only thing I like about stock is that everything works and a better battery life lol. Other than that I miss all the features of custom Roms so I wouldn't mind a 2.2 or a 2.3 rom as long as its stable, quick and everything works.
What rom were you on before? I've only tried a few roms since I've gotten a vibrant and have felt that the vibrant cm7 nightlies are pretty stable. I would combine with eugene's vibrant stock kernel for good battery life. Some good combinations you may want to try out:
CM7 + eugene's vibrant kernel
ICS Euphoria + Kiss 8.2
CM9 + Kiss 8.2 / or Subzero kernel
ICS is actually quite stable now. There are a few kinks here and there, but its just as good as 2.3.7. I haven't looked into the 2.2 roms so I don't know. Hope this helps.
The last thing I was using was Euphoria but I had serious battery issues, it would last me maybe 6 hours tops =/
If you're looking for something stable and completely functional you should try a 2.2 custom rom. Personally I prefer Bionix 1.3.2. I'm always coming back to this rom when I need my phone to be perfect.

Check out Fishman's mods. He's modded Bionix and Deranged9. I am testing an RC version of his D9 that should be released soon enough. Stable, fast, everything works and you can use any and all the 2.2 kernels to OC/UV, Voodoo,...
Themes can always be changed, so I'll take performance over gaudiness, tweak it out and then re-theme it later. ICZenwich is my ICs ROM of choice, but you'll have to go to the Rootz site to get that.
well i will recommend you to try miui rom....it is much stable fast and has good battery life....
iam using ics cm9 nightly it is quite stable for me to use it but they are giving updates constantly and day after day almost every day there is a new update
battery life of cm9 is best i have watched yet they might have used Battery Life eXtender http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1257497

Holy crap I think I might have to give this a shot if fishman's doesn't work out to my expectation. Also I've had my phone since launch day I'm not sure how long you've had yours and I think since I've flashed my phone soooo many times and at times without charging it all the =/ it's degraded the life of the battery as well as thrown the calibration completely off. Yes I have tried to recalibrate multiple times as well but the only thing that gets me through the day is being on a 2.2 rom or stock.

I've had my phone for about a year and a half now
Not sure how long the phone's been out haha...but I got it
close to when the vibrant was new ^^
I used to have a lot of issues with battery life...I would maybe get 10 hours.
But after researching and trying new things...I found out a number of things to help, and now I get great life..on most roms.
A tend to keep my battery at 200 - 800 (sometimes 1000)
and undervolt accordingly
1000 -25
800 -50
600 -125
400 -150
100 -175
Ofc undervolting values differ from phone to phone.
I use subzero kernel #70
and use conserv/ sio
I tend to freeze a lot of apps with titanium backup
and use autostarts to make sure apps only start themselves when I want them to.
I use very few widgets, and make sure to kill my apps when Im done using my phone.
I also keep brightness at about 50% - 25% always...rarely at 100%
That is funny. My settings are almost exactly those. Birds of a feather my friend. Still getting used to your name over "there" but I recognized that screen shot right off.
Only difference I see in our settings is that I OC to 1200 and use smartass sometimes and conservative sometimes depending on what I am doing or testingout.
OP, check out my batter guide in my signature or stickied in the Q&A section. It has everyting you need to get the most out of your battery (even if it is an old one) for all ROMs, 2.2, 2.3.x and 4.0.x
X- I am out of thanks for the day but I'll tap yours later on when it resets.
Thanks a bunch guys I really really appreciate it. Also I hit thanks on both =D.
Edit: One last question was do you guys know how to get rid of the Bali splash screen it's pretty hideous...
It is the kernel splash screen so you would have to change it in the kernel itself. As hideous as it is, I use the splash screens for an impromptu reality check. I know if I don't see one in the right order, something is going to go haywire in a minute or two.
For me I have 3
Bootloader splash ->Gingerbread bl
Kernel Splash -> SubZero
ROM Splash -> ICZen In that order. Sure it is big and yellow but the beauty is the ROM animations.
Sidenote: If you don't the boot animation, you can drop one in /data/local and set your permissions and on boot it will show your new one w/o ever changing your original. I do this to my wife's phone alot just to freak her out. She's caught on to it now though.

hahaha, Does Subzero work well with fishman's? if so I might just go to that. Thanks again
No. Subzero is an ICS kernel.
Check out Serendipityguy's kernel bible stickied in the Dev section. It will tel you what works with what as far as 2.2, 2.3 and 4.0

I may have actually *stolen* some of my settings from your post, in fact Lol
I used to OC to 1200 and use smartass (or a modified lulzactive) but Subzero's build 70 is so smooth that I can sit at 800 with conserv and feel no lags whatsoever. I can only assume that he's using butter throughout his code lol
Any 2.1/2.2 ROM
2.3 and 4.0 are still in development ...and although stable still buggy

Hi all, I'm running wanamlite 4.1.2 with hardcore speed mod kernel.
The battery is stock, had it for approximately 19 months.
The battery seems to be under performing massively, under medium to heavy usage it may only last a few hours.
I usually change my rom/kernel every month or so but I've stuck with this for about 6 months, is it because it's building up data & making the battery work harder or simply the battery reading the end of its usable lifespan?
I really don't want to change my rom if I don't have to!

Try SDmaid pro for cleaning, also - have you tried going back to recovery and cleaning cache/dalvik and fix permissions?
I'll give sdmaid a go, not heard of that.
I tend to clear dalvik cache & fix permissions occasionally if I feel the phone slows down at all as it appears to keep it running smoothly.

Have you considered updating to doris latest kernel - you on 4.1.2 right, so reccomend you check out 8.43 and select battery profile from stweaks and use zzmanx governor for awake and intellidemand for sleep, I) needs to be BFQ. Also, doris kernal has cron tasks, so you can check all the box's and it will do maintenance jobs on a dailey basis. I run 4.3.1 so using 9.43 and it is running excellent, but from what I can make out of the dori development thread users on 8.43 are reporting very good results.
Oh, I feel like a salesman now lol! I'm just really excited about it because it is getting so good.
One more thing - BATTERY life is amazing using governor combination above, honestly, I've never had so much performance when screen on combined with bat life on screen off.
If you want to make it really good use Tasker with secure settings to automatically switch off/on (when we need them rather than when google thinks we should have them lol) all those unecessary things like google now, data, location provider, play services etc that inherently cause a billion wakelocks and drain our poor bats!!
Just my experience, not trying to be promotional :cyclops:
Wow. That's all really good. Thank you.
I tried a kernel in the past that destroyed my battery so once this one worked I just stuck.
One question, what does 'needs to be BFQ' mean?
I'll update kernel & add the profile through stweaks this evening, once it's settled I'll install tasker & start to optimise that way too.
Thanks again.

BFQ is an IO scheduler, actually no need to worry about changing it because it comes set up with that already. STweaks is really quite self explanatory, the first tab you don't need to touch, second tab 'awake' change governor to zzmanx, third tab 'sleep' change governor to intellidemand, go to profiles tab first though and change to 'battery' profile.

This kernel is very much 'live' and under considerable ongoing development with overwhelming support from the community. :good::good::good:
Edit: have you noticed the thanks button, most people like to get feed back and watch their 'thanks meter' rise, me included lol
That's ace mate, cheers.
I'll be back on once it's all done to let you know how I got on!
19 months of charging/discharging would mean it's probably getting near the end of its life (could have carked it a lot earlier if you were charging/discharging more than 1 x day).
I'd be buying a new battery.
Welcome to Shift Kernel
Here we have custom toolchain build Linaro 4.7.4 Aosp custom kernel.
This is based on the Cyanogenmod SMDK4412 updated source.
Kernel uses STweaks which should be installed as a system app with the zip as it's included. If it doesn't just download and install
Starting with 5.0 this kernel supports all AOSP KitKat ROMS for the I777/959G
Downloads: Shift
Also feedback is very welcome. Also I will CONSIDER requests if I find it useful and not too strenuous to implement. Again Enjoy yourself guys!!!!
Thanks goes out to @ZaneZam for the amazing zzmoove that is included that we all love. @dorimanx for a little help and his amazing source for the i9100. If you thank me, please take the time to go thank him as well because without him some of this would never be possible as it helped me understand the extent to which some of this must go to function as it should. PLUS, he's an AMAZING Dev, Get over there already, and of course @gokhanmoral (Siyah Kernel) who without some of his early work none of this would be possible. He is the master Dev when it comes to the S2 community, even if we don't see the I9100 work over here we are forever in his debt @razen_kain for countless hours of testing and dealing with my lip when things are wreaking havoc @TheGeekyNimrod for testing CWM, unsuccessful or not, it is still extremely helpful
If I forgot you, just say so

Just for future reference having this feature activated will cause the battery to discharge at a much higher rate, even when idle. The knock code is optimized for the G2/G3, and while the N5 is based on the G2 it too suffers from battery drain because the screen is always "looking" for the knock.
All that being said, it is a really cool feature. Great job getting your kernel up and running, rogersb!
Excellence. Thanks for this effort. Thanks for not giving up!
Going to keep an eye on this thread as you move forward with it. Does this give us the option to set a separate sleep profile from the awake profile in Stweaks? I remember that from using AJK with an old 4.2.2 rom, and it really made a big difference (at least it seemed) in battery life, not running the normal profile when the screen was off, or phone was in deep sleep.

By all means take your time. I'm in no rush for special kernel features. I've tried building kernels in the past and know how big of a pain it can be at times. So dev on, and we'll be here waiting to try it out.:good:

You have a link to the kernel with this feature so I can look for the source? I've never heard of this but sounds nice and possible very useful but I I worry this mat be an issue with the SOD(sleep of death) issue from the AJK kernel. Don't get me wrong, I love his 4.9 kernel but stopped using just for that reason
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2110542
There's the link. I've been running v4.9 ever since I started using CarbonRom (prior to SlimKat). Never had SOD issues. Maybe because of the profile I used or the way I tuned it. AJK took some getting used to with all the available options. I don't know how advanced it is to implement in a kernel though. I imagine it's no easy task. I could do it now using SETcpu, but I just prefer Stweak, hints why I asked about the option.
I wish I knew more about kernel building to help implement some requests, but it's beyond my knowledge. That's why I leave it to all you fine folks.

Reuploaded. Sorry but updates may be frequent untill everything is working as should but I think that is only BLN that is left. I'm working to try and get that straightened out. Everything else appears to be running smooth and I've been getting great battery life. I added 4 or 5 more governors and a few io schedulers. Anything not working please report. Thanks for support and patience. This stuff is hard lol
Barely optimized but over 12. I'll take that all day

Yesterday I noticed my phone began getting really lagging switching apps, going to homescreen, keyboard etc. Put the kernel on mine and my girls phone say day I odin flashed fog6 on both phones. I updated to v2 last night and the lagging seemed to be much worse today. I've even tried turning off the select few set on boot features I had turned on. Havent updated hers to v2 yet but shes complaining of the lag and I didn't change any auditor settings on here at all, it was mostly just to root and remove some stock crap. Not claiming its gotta be your kernel as the laggy mess seems to be the same as the first 5.1 update got after continued use.

What gov have you been using? Intellidemand was working best for me. Also Id/I do turn off KSM/UKSM. It helps ram wise but cpu takes a hit. Otherwise I havent experienced any lag. Have experienced 2 reboots but its ALWAYS while in the same app.
I have another update coming soon. Updated toolchain, sh!t ton more govs., intelliplug and more. Working on the OC'n you asked about in your earlier post. Also Grarak/KernelAdiutor accepted my pull request for official support so next time he updates it in the playstore it'll be official and coming with plug in support which should be fun.
I was running the interactive governer and changed it last night to performance followed by a reboot. Today the lag just made it unusable and any remaining set on boot options I had checked I turned off. Only thing on my girls friend I changed in kernel auditor was the gpu set on boot option. Haven't had any reboots, if you let me know which app is it I'll give it a go. In the meantime I'll switch to intelli demand, I believe I was using that one before I updated and switched it!

I have experienced lag as well, I have tried all of them and I was going to say screw it and try something else. I have been using userspace and so far so good. We will see if it helps or not.
I am pretty heavily debloated and the slowness was noticable before the kernel. I have to switch carriers to get on cm12!

This new firmware was suppose to cure lag. I guess it's not as good as some make it out to be. I do think the laginess may have been kernel related in some aspects though. I was experiencing lag on the old firmware and the new. I have applied your suggestions @ShinySide, and so far so good. I noticed an improvement, only time will tell if it will be a long term improvement though.

I have applied these settings and so far I can tell a major improvement. I will see how the overall longterm performance is and report back.
I cannot boot v3 for some reason. Tried d/l and flash manually as well as through KA. Sticks on boot after soft keys light up. V2 works great though.
