How I can unlock the bootloader?
I recently bought LG L9 brand TIM.
Then, I've flash successfully the firmware v20H ITA/ITALY (downloaded from http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=18 )
Following various guides, I read that I can't unlock the bootloader.
Need I install other firmware?

Hello, I know there are tutorials about unlocking the bootloader, but in the case of the P769, is the most difficult of all, so give you some data to see that tutorial or steps should I take to unlock it without problems:
- L9 P760 T-Mobile, 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, V20H (and says that according to LG software, already has the latest version), root and recovery (CWM)
As I said, I have seen many tutorials, but too confusing, and according to what I read, the V20H is an open verison, and not if I can skip the process of installing the kdz V20B (which looks to open the bootloader)
Please I need to unlock the bootloader, confirming what I want most of all if you need to install v20b kdz or not? or at least a simple tutorial for unlocking, thanks.

I hate to bust your bubble but if your P769 ( USA T-Mobile ) was made after March 2013, if memory serves, the bootloader is NOT unlockable. I think the MetroPCS P769 can be unlocked however but don't quote me on that. The only way, if at all possible, is the lengthy process you've already mentioned. For the P769, there is no such thing as a simple tutorial for unlocking the bootloader. Most of the P769 users, myself included, have moved on to other devices because of the inability to unlock the bootloader.
I should also mention that there are tons of threads related to this. Research and XDA's search feature are your friends. XDA prefers it's members to search and search again before creating redundant or duplicate threads.

I understand, I just like to confirm that with the long method (install v20b kdz , wait 30 minutes-1 hour, use the commands in ABD) chance of unlocking the bootloader? O is permanently blocked?
And if it is impossible to unlock, Even I can install roms for phones with locked bootloader?
Now I have understood that it is difficult to unlock in this model, but at least I want to know if there is even a possibility. Thank you

Yes you can flash ROMs for locked bootloaders assuming you have 2nd-init recovery installed.
The chances of unlocking your bootloader are extremely slim at best.
I have a LG Optimus L9 MS769 and I have been searching for a very simple way to unlock the bootloader. The only tutorials I could find were very complicated. Is there some type of toolkit that I could download in order to do it ? I have a Nexus 7 and that's how I was able to unlock the bootloader. My device already rooted.
Thanks in advance
eheh you cannot compare the N7 to a crappy LG! Unfortunately no there no tool to do such a thing, but there are some way to flash a modified KDZ that include an unlocked bootloader and the CWM... Follow this guide and choose your KDZ wisely

This is the original v10a rom. It has an unlockable bootloader and can be easyily rooted. Which should be a prerequisite. But custom roms may not work with the antique baseband rom.
Would be better to update to 4.1.2 first. V20a had an unlockable bootloader and native App-to-SD. In later v2x roms the bootloader may again not be unlockable to prevent rooting. Via OTA you will get v20h or the latest v20o or p roms. I had unlocked the bootloader and rooted when v20c came via OTA.
I would recommend unlocking immediately. But rooting prevents successful OTA, other ways of flashing still work.

and where i found the link to update to 4.12 and V20 or the latest v20o? thank you
Oops. Didn't notice that earlier, because Tapatalk got gang raped and beaten up by its makers. I'm still an unhappy user now.
First unlock bootloader, as the latest roms may prevent this.
Then update to the latest rom via OTA, with LG's service flash tool or their sync suite. Then it should be at least v20h. At least for Artas CM11 you need v20o or p. There is a link somewhere in the two Artas Cm11 threads. After you reached the final level of stock rom evolution, you can root, install a recovery, and try custom roms.

I bought a LG V30+ (V300) Korean version and I was wondering if it would be possible to flash an international stock rom on it.
Is this possible?
Anybody experience doing so?
Thank you.

There is no chance to fladh anotoher Rom in ours Lg V300k yet. First will be needed to unlock our bootloader (not achieved yet), then TWRP and finally to have suitable ROM's for ours devices.
Step be step, lets be patient

On LG V20 they flashed another ROM (KDZ) using a custom made LGUP.exe file -- BEFORE the bootloader was unlocked. They did it in order to unlock the bootloader, installed TWRP, then flashed back the orginal ROM while keeping TWRP.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=74689131&postcount=123
However that method would only help you (on South Korean variant) if you then had a way to unlock the bootloader AFTER you flashed it.
This "flashing another KDZ variant"method would possibly work on the T-mobile H932 which already has easily unlocked bootloader, but just has most of the ADB flash commands removed. It would temporarily turn the H932 into an LG US998U once that KDZ is available. Install TWRP, flash back to original H932 firmware, while not overwriting the new TWRP recovery.
But doing that on South Korea model won't let you unlock bootloader because your IMEI is ineligible on the LG Developer website, and the bootloader unlock exploit the V20 devs used has been patched.

Shouldn't that be possible on this? Or was there a patched exploit after that? Sounds similar to the G4 if I remember correctly.

The bootloader unlock exploit they used on the V20 has been patched, but the T-mobile H932 V30 doesn't need a bootloader unlock exploit -- bootloader is easily unlocked. What it needs is a US998U KDZ and a custom made LGUP.exe to allow installing KDZ from another variant. That custom LGUP.exe is what does the magic, but a dev needs to make one that works on the LG V30. Go follow the links I posted.
