When I turn off my bluetooth and unpair my devices the phone keeps trying to route all audio through bluetooth. The only way around it is to reboot to get audio back. Has anyone found a solution to this unbelievably annoying problem?
Try a a2dp app.

I had this problem with ICS Passion - turned out to be a bad flash as I reflashed and the problem was solved.
The bluetooth sound on my phone went out while I was on a paired phone call in the car. The phone has no problem pairing with 2 cars, but will not play any sound with either a phone call or bluetooth music in either car now. When I try to make a call the call is routed to the car but neither the sound or the microphone seem to work. If I switch back to the phone's speaker, everything is fine again. Can anyone help me with this?
I have unpaired the phone with the car and re-paired.
I have done a master reset on the car audio receiver.
I have made sure that the media volume is at maximum level.
I am trying not to do a master reset on the phone because I dont want to add the apps and games again.
I am NOT rooted, running software version 2.13.651.1710RD.
Do a soft reset. Hold power and.up volume till it shuts done. 10 secs or so...bottom.lights will blink but ignore. Once off power it.back.on. this happened to me and I almost returned my.Bluetooth headphones. It worked perfect.after

Yeah as I was typing the question and thinking of the troubleshooting steps I had already taken, I realised that I had not don a simple re-boot. I re-booted and went to the car and everything was perfect. Thanks for the response.

Hello,
We have an Audi Q7 with Samsung Galaxy S3 problem.
Bluetooth connects,
Outgoing calls are OK
Incoming calls are OK when I pick up the phone with touch screen it works too
But when I pick up phone with buttons of car, FM Radio keeps on playing, if this happens and I click on Disable/Enable headset on touchscreen of phone it works.
Any ideas how to fix? I have already tried installing Criskelo rom, and all updates but that doesn't help. (I must say it worked once!) after upgrading to Criskelo. But since then, it never worked again. Stock rom wasnt good too.
I hope someone can help me out.

The easiest fix I can think of is probably to swap cars with me? Just a straight swap

Hi guys,
I've been having this weird issue for some time, and it seems to not be related to any roms that I run, since it has happened on multiple roms. Here is my issue: I connect to my car's bluetooth to use things like Pandora, Music, hands-free calling, etc. When I disconnect from my bluetooth, however, my audio still thinks it is connected to a bluetooth device, which I can tell by when I adjust the volume since it has the bluetooth icon instead of a speaker. I have tried turning bluetooth on/off and closing apps and whatnot with no luck. I even tried stopping the music app and turning off bluetooth before I shut my car off, still the same thing.
Do you guys have any suggestions, or has anyone else experienced this? Normally a reboot will fix this, but my current rom locks up sometimes when I reboot, which is a pain since I have one of those Neo Hybrid cases on my phone.
Thanks,
Steve
I had a similar issue with my s3 last year. I believe I fixed the problem by going to settings> application manager> all (2 swipes to the left), scroll down to "Bluetooth Share", then clear cache & data. Hope this helps. You'll have to pair your Bluetooth devices again.

Sorry if anyone has posted this before...
I have a problem and I've been trying to solve it but after months of frustration I have decided to try the experts here. Maybe I someone can help.
I don't know when this all started, but for some reason whenever I connect my phone to my car audio (stock system from Toyota) via Bluetooth I can't use Google voice commands. OK Google gets picked up but after that nothing gets recorded. Just Google waiting for me to say something. I tested SVoice and that works fine, so my only thought is that Samsung has done something.
When I disconnect, the problem persists until I turn Bluetooth off.
I have managed to get it working if I use Google to turn on Bluetooth, but then all phone called go to speaker on the phone. When I connect to Bluetooth to use the steering wheel controls, problem come back.
So, hope that was clear and thanks in advance for any help!
