[Q] Samsung Galaxy Centura Lock Screen - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

My step daughter is a MAJOR kleptomaniac. She loves to steal phones and ipods from friends and family, idk why. Anyway, I had just rooted my phone and ran out of time (prepaid- tracfone) and put it away. She still found it and put a text lock on it, and won't give it to me. I DO NOT want to do a hard reset.
Help me bypass the lock screen or reset the password somehow, please.
The forgot password pop up does not pop up after trying many times with random letters.
I emailed the phone company days ago, and they have still not replied.
I have searched all over for a solution here and google.
I have all the SDK tools if you have a method that requires the tools or command line.
Thanks.

[Q] Bypass Pattern Lock

First of all, I know this has been posted before regarding other devices, but I couldn't find anything about this phone.
Here's the deal, my friend passed away on Friday night, and suicide was highly suspected. His parents very much want to be able to unlock his phone and find any reasons that may point to suicide. They have exhausted all of the pattern lock attempts possible, so now it's stuck at the recovery option.
The phone is definitely on stock, and most likely hasn't been rooted. When I try to unlock it, I can see the actual homescreen in the background before the password recovery screen pops up. The phone is still active, so I can call it and text it if that can help bypass the lock screen in any way.
Any help is GREATLY appreciated.
Wellp, none of the glitch methods I found online seemed to work. But I did manage to get into the phone.
I realized that Firefox/Chrome/Whatever will probably have his password for gmail saved. So his parents let me on his laptop and I managed to find his gmail password in the saved passwords and reset his pattern lock.

[Q] Note II - rooted, lost, apps not installing

Hi,
This is a long shot. I lost my brand new phone! I left it in a cab, of course he hasn't found the phone. As far as I can tell the phone is still on as it rings when I call it. My boyfriend called ATT and had service shut off without asking me. I turned it back on. I was trying to push the app Android Lost from my google account but it isn't installing. I don't know if this is because the phone needs to reboot or what. I have a pin code lock on the phone. Here are some ideas I had but can't find answers to:
Any ideas on forwarding text messages so I can set up family map
Rebooting remotely
Getting the phone to download Android Lost or another app
About the phone. Samsung Galaxy Note II - Rooted, original OS, very few apps and nothing useful either. Any ideas are appreciated. I figure if the phone is still on I have a chance. Thanks

[Q] Locked out - Droid Bionic

To keep my kids from draining my battery with their games, I set up a screen lock on my phone. After I changed it yesterday to a new 4 digit code I couldn't get back in. I haven't been prompted to enter the username and password for the gmail account I used to set up the phone and I've tried 700+ times to enter the pin. I suspect it might be related to the software update that was done in the last few days.
Verizon and Motorola have both told me that I need to do a factory reset but I really really don't want to do that. Can someone please help!!!
Thank you.

Someone please help, for this Idiot :D

Hey Everyone. I have a extremely annoying and stupid problem with my phone
I have Z5 Premium. What happen is that my phone was always locked with fingerprint and pin number. BUT, for some reason after installing some applications and launchers to try on my phone my locking system sometimes didn't work. Some it lets me just to swipe my finger and I unlocks the phone, without asking for pin... sometimes it asks and sometime it don't, it started to be very annoying so I wanted to check if I change it to password instead of pin if it will be the same. The good news is, it looks like it fixed that problem and the bad news is my phone is so f***ing safe now that I can't even unlock it my self!
I created that password for very temporary time, for some extremely stupid reason I used password which I never used it anywhere else, it was only 4 letters and at that time it looked very easy to type and remember it but I was wrong... I reminded it for 20 mins than I felt a sleep for a short nap and when I woke up, its gone I'm trying to guess that pass and unlock it for 4 straight days now!!
I know I can do hard reset and start again from scratch but I don't want that. I just made all the setups for my phone and everything and I don't want to loose whats in it.
So what options do I have? I found quite few good methods but usually I'm not able to do one of the steps in it..
I tried Google Device Manager method, it didn't work because I already had password not a pin or pattern so it didn't let change pass
The best one I found so far is to flash a script through CWM to remove my pass. The only thing is my phone is stock at the moment and unrooted so I don't have CWM. Another problem is I don't think USB Debugging is enabled on my phone which creates even more problems in my situation I couldn't even get my phone into normal recovery mode when I tried with this phone, anyone know how to do it?
So guys, what options do I have without resting and deleting everything on my phone again?? Please help me, as this thing drives me crazy form 4 days now... I want to smash my phone into wall or my fu****g head because I set that pass up...
Ps. Is it possible to do a android backup on my phone? with looked screen and debugging disabled? but somehow so it doesn't backup my lock screen pass to? I dont think so my self but may be Im wrong..
thanks
I just found another method which I will try now, it could work...
nope, usb debuging needs to be enabled on that method too.. :/
never mind "helpful people" sort it out by my self.. how do i delete this threat??
Hi, I have the exact same problem but I want to hard reset the phone as it is new. What should I do to achieve that?

HELP! How can I unlock my Samsung Galaxy S7 without deleting data? Forgot password!

I'm posting this in a bunch of different places just in case someone has an answer for me:
I'm so frustrated. I set some stupid new pattern passcode on my phone (Samsung Galaxy S7) yesterday because I wanted to try it out and see how it worked. It was a method where you swipe on the screen in a series of directions to unlock it. Now I've either forgotten it or it's not working and I only have two attempts left before my phone automatically erases all data on itself. I cannot do a factory reset and lose all of my data, that's just not an option for me. I've tried unlocking it with "Ok Google" which I do have enabled on my phone, but it didn't work. I've tried going to device manager in my google account and locking the phone but it won't override the password I already have on my phone so that doesn't work. Apparently my device wasn't registered in my Samsung account so Samsung can't remotely unlock my device. Verizon (my service provider) won't help me. The link that people online say should appear after too many attempts that lets me sign into my phone using the Google Account that it's linked to won't appear. The information that I've found online about how to "hack" my phone doesn't make any sense to me and requires me to download or already have installed all sorts of suspicious looking files/programs that I'm not willing to install onto neither my phone nor my computer. I'm just at a loss and really frustrated. What could be wrong? How do I fix this? Who can help me?
Check this , maybe it will works for you .

You might be out of luck. You won't lose any files just apps and settings if you factory reset.
This is why no one uses pattern unlock any more. Too many things that can go wrong.
