How to Build AOSP firmware with PolishBloodProject - Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini, Mini Pro, Xperia Pro, A

Hello. Can not building AOSP 4.2.2 using the repository PolishBlood Project.
Synchronizes with the repository manifests jb-4.2. Then I enter the command:
source build / envsetup.sh
lunch
Choose from the list: PolishBlood_coconut-userdebug
Then I enter - make -j5
After a time, to give an error number 1 after re-entering the make -j5 - mistake number 2 (there is something associated with the kernel firmware). 2 times checked back files from the repository by typing: repo sync, then repo sync-f. Now I try again to rebuild the firmware at the same time clarify the details of errors. While the question:
Instructions on how best to collect the firmware repository PolishBlood Project?
PS: SDK, ADB, JDK stand on their compiler does not complain.
My 4 core CPU, I introduce make -j5

That's what a mistake has issued:
make[4]: *** [arch/arm/boot/compressed/piggy.lz4] Error 1
make[3]: *** [arch/arm/boot/compressed/vmlinux] Error 2
make[2]: *** [zImage] Error 2
make[1]: *** [sub-make] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory`/home/slava/android/kernel/semc/msm7x30'
make: *** [TARGET_KERNEL_BINARIES] Error 2
make: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs...

Problem was solved by the fact that the set lz4. Now I have another question:
Instructions on how best to compile AOSP 4.1.2 from the repository PolishBloodProject? I synchronized the same repository version of android 4.1.2, but the compiler complains that device_specific_code etc. - from cyanogenmod. More bugs lay out later.

You need to post the exact error using
Code:
tags, then we can try to help you ;)

Okay. I eventually resync all the files to the repository, and compiled with the 4.2 repository PolishBlood. I want to compile the 4.1 repository PolishBlood, but not all files are synchronized from the repository by:
Code:
repo init -u https://github.com/PolishBloodProject/manifest.git -b jb
It feels like not all the files are synchronized with the repository
Question: Is everything I'm doing right, for synchronization and compile AOSP-firmware repository PolishBlood?

[Q] Make dist build from AOKP source

Hello there,
I am trying to build a custom ROM for Samsung P3113 based on AOKP source on the jb branch. I was able to make "unofficial" release using "brunch aokp_p3113". However, when I attempted to make a distribution release, the "make -j4 dist" failed. The following are the commands I used:
. build/envsetup.sh
lunch aokp_p3113-userdebug
make -j4 dist
I got the following error messages:
device/moto/stingray/recovery/recovery_ui.cpp:22:20: fatal error: device.h: No such file or directory compilation terminated.
make: *** [out/target/product/p3113/obj/STATIC_LIBRARIES/librecovery_ui_stingray_intermediates/recovery_ui.o] Error 1
Can someone help? By the way, I don't need to build OTA package.
Found root cause
Found the root cause -
All the three header files needed by recovery_ui.cpp are missing. To workaround, I excluded the stingray recovery from the make, and the problem solved.
Hopefully, someone in the AOKP team will add the missing files to repository.

Building a PAC-Man ROM for an unsupported device

Hi guys!
I hereby state that I am a github and source-building n00b, and i could need your help
The thing is, I want to build a PAC-man ROM for the HTC Sensation. The pacman source is on github: https://github.com/PAC-man
And here is the device specific files, which I forked form the Pyramid CM10 Repo (Just to explore github) : https://github.com/InfinityFTW/android_device_htc_pyramid
And I was wondering, how does one add these files into the ROM, in order to build it properly?
I have searched, but I could not find a solution. I have heard about merging it in with the sources, but i'm not sure what way to go
If someone is familiar with this, please let me know.
Thanks

You need to clone device tree
Code:
cd android
cd device
mkdir htc
cd htc
git clone git://github.com/InfinityFTW/android_device_htc_pyramid.git -b jellybean pyramid
Then you need extract propietary files
Code:
cd pyramid
./extract-files.sh
And finally type
Code:
. build/envsetup.sh
lunch "select your device"
make -j4

it has found pyramid/cm.mk required for building but your device is configured to use the common config of msm8660 cpu so its looking for
msm8660-common
in device folder
htc
therefore find the common config download it via zip rename the folder containing the files to
msm8660-common
copy and paste it in htc folder then follow the previuos commands... i will subscribe to this thread if you get any more errors post on this thread i will be happy to help

Well, on pacmans git, there are instructions on how to build Pac-man, which includes a build-pac.sh script, and it says command not found when i run it. And i forked the htc pyramid device repo into pacmans gerrit, so i will try to do everything again, maybe something went wrong during cloning or syncing

Do you mean propartiary-files.sh?
And btw, i had my local repo cluttered with previous attempts at building PA, so i deleted everything and init'd the repo and synced it again.
you dont need to delete and resync again instead do
PHP:
make clean
and
HTML:
make clobber
to delete all compiled files and if you have modified the source do
HTML:
git checkout
it will remove all local changes that was you can save time and bandwidth ...

It probably would not build, coz when it gives you to choose you will choose cm_* and it will build cm10.To buil PAC you need to choose pac_*

[Q] Help needed with compiling an A31 kernel

EDIT3: I was sorta' right about the source package being somewhat temperamental. Managed to build the modules sans kernel, but doing both at the same time leads to the errors below. Also, renaming uImage to vmlinux and then shoving it in boot.img along with the compiled modules resulted in the tab being stuck on the boot logo.
EDIT2: I dunno if the build package was being temperamental or something, but ticking out the tvp5150 module seems to have done the trick.
EDIT: Managed to get further with building, but while I get a vmlinux image, it still ends with a mismatch error with modules. Coud this have something to do with the source tarball being stripped and not the full one?
Code:
Building modules, stage 2.

So, I kinda' figured out on how to cobble up a kernel for the A31s, but upon attempting to build one based on the source taken from http://dl.linux-sunxi.org/SDK/A31/a31_hummbingbird_V3.3_v2_kfb_0k.tar.gz
While I managed to load up the default config and stuff, building it using the command make ARCH=arm CROSS_COMPILE=/root/CodeSourcery/Sourcery_G++_Lite/bin/arm-none-linux-gnueabi- results in this:
Code:
In file included from drivers/media/video/sunxi-vfe/camera_detector/camera_detector.h:4:0,

ANy thoughts or advice on how to make this work, let alone boot?

Your issue is that the device is not supported by cm. So you will have to do all the legwork of getting the device trees and all the proper files. You can't use the same files for other s3 on your device.

Thanks.
Once I successfully build CM12.1 on 9 July, but afterward, never success and prompt that error.
I reviewed a page on how to build for SC06D: http://lawnfield.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-61.html
I had done all the things listed there, but finally got that error.
So, what exactly that error means and what should I do to resolve?
It seems (maybe) I solved the problem, now building but not yet complete.
From the source it use CWM as default recovery but now the code is using TWRP, so it halted. And I change it to TWRP and now running. For sure I have not much ideas on why such change in code, may be the KBC-developer intended to do, but not fully.
Another question is, If I would like to build the rom, but not all apks in /system/app, what should I do? As I would like to slim down the rom as some of the files are unnecessary to me, e.g. bootnanimation.zip and the default browser.

CM 12.0 Build Failed with Error 127

I'm trying to build CM 12.0 for Nexus 9.
I followed instructions from here :
https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/flounder/build#start-the-build
Only thing I changed is replacing CM-14.1 with CM-13.0 in the following command:
Code:
repo init -u https://github.com/LineageOS/android.git -b cm-14.1
I am getting Error 127. These are the details:
Code:
vendor/cm/build/core/maven_artifact.mk:42: recipe for target '/home/attila/android/cm13/out/target/common/obj/JAVA_LIBRARIES/ambientsdk_intermediates/com.cyngn.ambient.ambientsdk-1.6.0-147069776-39fe2d07.aar' failed

Not sure What I'm doing wrong. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

In case someone faces the same problem in future, the error was there because I was missing maven.
Just do
Code:
sudo apt-get install maven
