Hi,
I've been doing some research, but cant find an answere. Is it possible to wake up an android device that is powered off with a wake on lan packet? Like you can with laptops and desktop computers?

Hello
I own an Android device called Mele A2000 which runs Android 4.0.4 and has 3 USB host ports, one of them "OnTheGo". (AllWinner A10 chipset, concept is a tv-box like google tv with remote control).
Plugged into one of them is my WD external harddrive, which my Linux computer powers down if it is unused.
The android 3.0.8 kernel power management though switches it off just to power it on again after a few minutes. And then switches it of again nearly instantly. This happens for hours.
Is there a software to controll media queries? Do I have to disable FTP/SSH servers? Any hints how I can monitor which software repeatedly reads from /mnt/usbhost0/* ? Any nice power monitoring apps I can install?
Media scanning from sd and usb is disabled in the android settings.
Thanks,
Fenrasa
Please.. anybody?
Hi, I have a MK808 which I have connected to a usb to ethernet converter. I boot directly into XBMC, but the ethernet connection can be a little flakey. Sometimes on boot it connects to the ethernet fine but other times it doesn't and I need to go into setting and switch the ethernet off and back on and that works.
My idea is to have tasker switch the ethernet off and on just after booting so that I can be assured it would work every time, but I can't see any ethernet option in tasker does anyone know a way of doing this.
Thanks
BW
Hey all,
I'm hunting for an Android tablet that can be used as an HMI for a machine. I need it to be able to boot itself when connected to AC power as well as host a peripheral usb device. Does anyone know of a tablet that supports both of these functions or can be Modded to achieve these?
Hello there
I need to control this android device which is connected with my TV. I want to use my phone for that.
Is there any application that turns android phone into a remote mouse for another android device (tablet /htpc)?
Thanks
I own a no-name brand smartphone running Android 7.0. It has MTK6753 SOC in it.
I was wondering if there is reconnection timeout in Android after turning Bluetooth on and if it is possible to change it. I'm having issues with my smartphone trying to reconnect with a device connected when I disabled bluetooth, preventing me from connecting to anything for at least a minute or two.
I have a rooted device so I can access root directory, but where should I start looking?
