Little intro:
I'm not a super-professional developer, but I try to do the things I love to do in the best way. Feel free to do critics, suggestions or anything else, but be warned that this thread is created for developing/sharing purposes, so I want this area to be non-noobs zone. If you don't know what/how/why to do, just search a little bit. And don't make useless posts - if you have problem, try to provide log's & additional info. Thank you.
Now tighten your belts - we're going to fly at the speed of light!
EDIT: Last GB version of FeraKernel is v28..a big..very big step in kernel development. So to juice your GB ROM flash this version. Older kernels are not supported any more so if you have any problem make sure you flash latest version.
"History of universe":
Xperia X10 was released in 2010-03-01. It's a great device with 386MB of RAM (270MB user-available) onboard. X10 Uses modified qsd8x50 board called 'es209ra'. Heart of this SoC is armv7 1Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU with built-in Adreno200 GPU. Latest official firmware for x10 is Android 2.3 GB. The HW setup of this phone was amazing for the time it was released. Even now there are a lot of chineese phones with similar hw setup BUT they are doble faster then x10..WHY? Because Software part of x10 realy sux. And the work I've done on kernel more than just proves this. FeraKernel - this is how it should be..Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger!

zhuhang said:
X10 with Qualcomm 1GHz single-core unable to use A8 is because Qualcomm removed NEON function from this particular processor.
Suggestion: Use "With VFP" - If it doesnt work too, then it means this processor sucks and can only use "Without VFP".

F.A.Q. - Read this before complaining!
1. This kernel works on Y or X rom?
A: It is only compatible with Touchwiz ROMs and i officially support Aliance , Omega , Echoe , XtrestoLite ROM only and users on other ROM are on their own risk and complaining about the Kernel will not be tolerated..!
2. OMG Battery Sucks...!
A: As you can imagine I don't build kernels to decrease battery life. All the battery life problems come from your apps, either Facebook, or Maps, or some Location Service being enabled etc etc. Check your damn wakelocks and fix them, the kernel is not responsible for them.
3. How do I flash this?
A: Reading the OP, theres a reason why I added instructions on it.
4. Which App is the best for Controlling the Kernel?
A: Their are many apps in the Play Store but i personally recommend TricksterMOD or FauxClock rest its on you whether which you find most comfortable.
5. Getting Random reboots..! Any Help
A: I don't answer to problems without a log. The log file is in /proc/last_kmsg. Paste it on pastie.org and link it on your post. Logcats are useless for Kernel purposes, don't bother posting them.
6. OP is arrogant, I'm gonna call the Internet Police?
A: Deal with it.
7. Which Settings are best for XYZ ROM and XYZ thing..!
A: THe Default settings of the Kernel are the best and Balanced one but you can ask other users on the thread or can discuss which settings are the best..!
8. XYZ Feature doen't work in this Kernel on XYZ ROM..! You suckass, fix it..!
A: I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for a fix, I can tell you I don't have the solution. If you leave now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I ignore you.

stock kernel doesn't support init.d script,so if you want to exec init.d you should follow this step:
1. create /system/etc/init.d 755 use twrp
2. flash kernel
3. enable "Emulate Init.d" by kernel Adiutor

What kernel is much better ???
@army9000 I don't think USB fast charge is working.
Also, which app would you suggest to be used to change kernel settings like change the governor's and all.
I tried kernel adiutor , works decently.
Battery life has improved but I haven't seen so much improvement in performance. Scored 29785 with stock kernel and 32255 with your kernel on antutu.
Hello army9000!
Currently I'm using Vitataf's modded stock Rom. IHO, the best Rom ever for X1.
But after I tried this kernel, the Rom lost some features, like native adblock.
Is it possible to use your kernel and keep the original features of the Rom?
And hey! Thanks for your work and time, keeping the development of our beloved device up!

this is a real unesesary question, bro if u install a custom kernel obviously you lost the stock kernel features.... and u ask if u can combine the features the answer is yes if u have theknowledge about programing

Chill, dude.
As I said before, adblock is a feature of the modified stock ROM, not a different kernel.
And obviously, if I had that knowledge, I wouldn't ask if it is possible.
But thanks any way!

If adblock function is in kernel, that's impossible; If it doesn't,you can try a factory reset.
Flashed today. Feels very smooth and fast.
@army9000 Just want to know if you're gonna discontinue the other one lollipop stock kernel.
IMO R3 still the best in battery & performance. Although, currently I'm still using and testing this kernel too.
Anyway, many thanks to your effort for our beloved moto x.

In my opinion this Kernel runs smoother AND ist better in Power management.
Does anyone else have the Problem that 3G is sometimes mit working, only edge? After reboot it connects to 3G!
Also WLAN sometimes is connected but every App says offline. Same as above: reboot and everything works fine.

Awesome Job!
(nice Logo )
Hope this kickstarts the development of other kernels for our device too!
Great Job! Since I am already running the kernel the whole weekend I can say that it runs rock solid. Now let's see if we can get hotplugging going.
Great work, our first Motorola G5 Cedric kernel. ? Thanks a lot lad's.
Just a few things iv noticed
please change the updater script - I know its meant to be a joke but its not really in the spirit of XDA
Onto the kernel itself
Can you explain the following
The big is set to a default of 652mhz yet in kernel Adiutor it doesn't show this in the options but it does show an entry for 249Mhz
The little is still set to a min of 768MHz - can this be underclocked?
Here are some screenshots to explain the points above

Why would we under clock small it calls for big if the frequency is over used there fore big cluster wouldn't need under clock , the reason why its not avalible is because that's what the voltage table picks which in this case was the mid value . I will be looking too fix this , personally I don't see a problem with the update-binary .
But I will Change thanks for your advice !

it also showing core 1 to be permanently offline and it fails to load big frequencies report chart so its hard to run an analysis so I can compare with lineageos kernel
So far in the reports it shows the little to be stuck on 1094mhz and the big at 960mhz but im not sure if that is accurate due to the reporting not working

so I flashed back the lineageos kernel
Kernel Adiutor reported all cores running with the big at 960mhz and little at 728mhz
Turned off all my start at boot options (although when I first tested I stopped it applying them on startup but just to make sure)
Flashed your kernel
It seems to be working now however
little is stuck at 1049mhz - this is because your little gov is set to performance - Changing this to interactive means the little now runs at 768mhz
also big keeps jumping up at 1401mhz where on lineageos kernel it was a stable 960mhz

like I said - no harm leaving it open as people on xda can contribute and those with better kernel knowledge than I have can suggest things
get your testers to use Kernel Adiutor and wait for about 5mins after the phone has booted and then keep opening kernel Adiutor closing it wait a min turn the screen off and so on and then check kernel Adiutor again and see what the reporting says
---------- Post added at 10:15 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:55 PM ----------
oh and just so people know - this kernel is using a different wifi module to what lineageos uses so if people do test this kernel and then revert back to lineageos kernel please make sure if you replace the wifi module with the one from lineageos or you wont be able to turn on wifi
I have none of the mentioned problems. I set big and small to "interactive" and everything is fine. Scaling seems normal. No core is ever offline.
