Bypass Pin lockscreen without Google account - Verizon HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE

My daughter forgot her pin on her inc4G and she does not have it with a Google account. Anyone know how I can unlock or bypass the pin unlock without a factory reset?

Still has custom recovery on it? Maybe you can flash another rom, that will still keep the data in tact anyway, right?

Switching Sim cards

hello there i have an atrix 4g ,now my problem is when i switch from sim cards its always telling to log into my motorola blur account. Im asking if there is a way to disable this feature or remove it.
Install a custom rom that removes the Motoblur registration? I'm using nottach's DarkSide, flawless!
thank you i will try that out
Try a factory reset also.

So factory reset "resets" the MB feature?...

It restores everything back to how it was when you got it. You'll have to log in to moto blur again

I've lost track of bow many factory restores I've done with Android phones, but I wasn't sure how the MB feature was affected by this. Especially with how goofy it gets with and without a SIM...

You didn't expect to get rid of moto-bliah so easily now, did you?

NFC won't turn on.

As the title says, every time I go into Google wallet it says that I need to not NFC on so I go into the settings and attempt to but every time I press it, it checks and then unchecks every time. I AM rooted. But I don't see how that could affect it. Any ideas?

No Google Wallet with root?

Not sure if that might help, but it may steer you in the right direction

Yeah I did see that. But I'm not sure how it would affect my NFC. Thanks for the link though. I didn't flash a rom or factory reset anything.

Did you change batteries? If you did that's why.. the nfc chip is built into the battery

Is it really? I don't see how it's just not turning on.

Yea.... so if you change batteries it won't turn on

I didn't switch batteries though. I tried to flash back to my stock rom from when I first rooted but it's not working.

did u set up google wallet prior to going back to factory?
has nfc worked at all for u like in the past maybe when it was stock?
I set it up, rooted and tried it and it won't work now. Went back to factory image and I can't even access wallet because I can't get nfc to turn on at all. I'm gonna try to unroot and then try it and see

Lol now after trying to unroot Google wallet says it's not compatible with my country. WTF.

theres posts referring to this problem. Apparently you're supposed to clear the settings within google wallet before rooting. Google wallet may be permanently bricked on your device
I dont see how google wallet messed my nfc completely up

I heard the metal replacement backs fück with nfc
Do you have one?

Password protection

Is there any way to specifically password protect the process of install/uninstall rather then protecting each and every app that can perform such an operation.

Try and password protect settings app .... it will password protect settings but the install/uninstall process will also be protected.... hope it works!!

Bug in ICS or not????

As we lock our phone by pattern... so ideally it should be unlocked by that pattern only or by some security question ...
But if we delete gesture.key from /data/system/
We can unlock phone by any pattern....
Strange....
Jst check it out...
Root must be required ...

Why can't I take off my lock screen

I can't remove my lock screen , anyone know why.

Not sure why that isn't selectable, but there is an app called No Lock you could try.

It looks like you have an app or something that is an admin on your phone and it prevents it from being selected
Sent from my LG-E970 using xda premium
Have you set a password or pin or pattern security lock? If so, I would guess that you need to disable that first. It looks like those options are still accessible. Otherwise, I really don't know (never seen it before).
Good luck!

It looks like you have your phone encrypted.
Having your phone encrypted requires you to have a lockscreen, otherwise the encryption means nothing.
I didn't encrypt it though.... I'm wonder if it is an admin app what would do it. I'm going tosee if I can disable the lock
What would happen if I cleared credentials?
Sent from my LG-E970 using Tapatalk 2
i cleared them...hope it wasnt a bad idea. i fixed it though. the issue was my college network profile cert
Edit they came back. All fixed
