Hello ..
I know the Note 3 is approaching and I've been using the Note 2 for a year now and I am totally happy with it. However, I really miss the JKay Deluxe for the Note 1. is there any possibility to find a version for the Note 2?
Appreciate your support.
thanks.
Great idea. Simplistic framework is not bad, but i miss jkay since i sold my S3 and bought note2.
Count me in too! Used JKeyz back in the dayz of Galaxy S#1 (GT-9000), than I did "the quantum leap" to Note2 and bought me an Simplistic... but when you think of it JKay is the king

The Lock screen options were really amazing. I know you can still have the same Lockscreens when using "WidgetLocker" but it is not embedded in the system and can not replace the system lock so in many cases it is useless.

It's called MIUI. Now, next time post your questions in the Questions and Answers section, here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1569
Why would you want your s3 look like it's?

The launcher doesn't replace the entire framework. What is it with people and thinking a launcher does everything?

Because for most people what matters is what the device looks like, and not really what is underneath. Most users don't even know what a framework is.
So the launcher suggestion is valid if all the user wants is something that resembles iOS.

Why would you want a ROM, that is like iOS? The only ROM that nears iOS is MIUI..

The style of the settings, does that not matter? No launcher can replace the ugliness of the Samsung settings. That goes way down in the systemui or framework.

Is there a flashable zip for floating multi-windows on VZW GN2? I searched and found a couple of threads but they seemed somewhat complicated and quite buggy. I had this feature on my GS3 with Synergyrom and loved it, I'm sure it would be even nicer on the bigger screen. Sorry if there is a simple answer that I overlooked.
Here is a simple way of getting floating multi Window. I know of no other mods at this time.

I tried that mod.... The only issue is the lock screen gets screwed up when you change the resolution.

Is it because it's built into the rom that it works so well on Synergy for the GS3? If so is it something that can be done for GN2? I ask because I don't fully understand what can just be flashed and what has to be built in to the framework of the rom to make it work properly.

Talk to echelon or trevE over in the Verizon s3 forum. They may be able to help us out.

Ihave the same problem, but I deal with the three shortcuts instead of five. Then I use an spp to control jist the lockscreen rotation. Im my opinion, the benefits far outweigh losing two shortcuts.
You can also change the dpi if you want all of your shortcuts as lpng as you can deal with smaller icons.

This seems to have no effect on my VZW Note 2. Running Jelly "Beans" with Nova Launcher and Widget Locker.
Are you hitting the save button in the right corner of xposed after you change your settings ?

Yeah same here on beans 13 didn't change multi Window at all. Tw launcher. Beans stock kernel.
Tried both resolutions. Tried different dpi.
It would be really cool to have this. I am not smart enough. Lol. But i know there are tons of smart people in these forums.

Yes, just like I do when I change DPI on all my other apps. I know how to use it. It just isn't working with Beans 13 for some reason.
Great trick! Working quite well on sprint!

Hi guys,
This is a method I came up with to have your note 2 device look like the note 3.The advantage is that it can work on any rom, rooted or unrooted.
All you need is a note 2 and a working play store. There is just one thing that I haven't been able to figure out is that the weather widget note 3 wont update (I need help on this one).So bearing the updating thing in mind, let's begin
1.Get the note 3 stock wallpapers from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2438493 (I used the fhd_03 from wallpaper pack 2 since its the one that is applied initially on note 3 but its your preference)
Credits to -Aatif-
2.Get the S4 lockscreen from here. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lockscreen.galaxys4
Its similar to the note 3 or should I say the exact same one
3.Get the s4 clock and weather widget from here https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.GoeloeDesigns.GS4clock
You will need UCCW for this to work https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=in.vineetsirohi.customwidget
With the right tweaking and settings adjustment you can make it really look like note 3.
This was my first guide ever.I hope you all liked it
Thanks for reading
Cheers
Can you post a ss please?

Hi,
I noticed that there ain't any themes for this tablet so here is an easy way to theme your tablet.
And of course you will need to be rooted to do this.
Also use common sense when messing around the modules. If you end up in boot loops from wrongly setting up the modules then there is always a Xposed disabler zip file in the root of our sdcard that you will have to flash in recovery to remove the bootloops.
First Install Xposed app.
Second Install xTheme Engine.
Here is a collection of xThemes i have collected and uploaded in one place to easier access them.
Fourth if you want to further mod you Tablet then try the modules here.
The Xposed Framework and xTheme Engine works on all roms. The themes will only do basic theming so do not expect to move mountains with it.
Happy Theming
I was wondering if you had any pics of the specific themes. Would help a lot to see which ones would suit my taste.

Sorry i dont have that as i dont use this at the moment.
I got a Note 3 and there are some awesome themes for that but i am ether gonna buy a Note 10.1 or a Note 8 tablet and was browsing the forums to see what roms was available and noticed you guys don't have any themes.
So i just made a post but when i get my tablet i will be posting the screens of the themes i try out.
If you try any of the themes then you could help the community by uploading some screen shots for others to see
Might be an uber noob question, but root needed?

Oh man I can't wait
I just ordered my Note 10.1 4G 2014 and it will be here in a week or so.
Once I receive my Note 10.1 I will try out all the themes and delete those not compatible with this device.
If I get the time I will make as many screen shots of the themes I try out.
Please if you guys can do the same and upload your screen shots of the themes you try then you will help out the community.
Screenshots
I am a bit disappointed or maybe I did something wrong? I tried royal theme and miui sony theme and the only thing that changed was wifi icons and some stuff in the notification are. If anyone knows some full themes that would be great. Screenshots attached, first two are royal elegance and the last one is sony miui. I only took screen shots of what was themed because nothing else changed for me
I would suggest The guy who did True Icon (keygenSVK)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2286137) I believe gave up on it at 4.2.2
There is a post later that had this Link hidden...
https://www.dropbox.com/s/k7wttxi31jxl8jv/trueicon1.01-Updated-for-Omega-Roms.zip
There was someone that Ported that specific Theme to 4.3 OMEGA Rom. I've Personally Flashed it but only a few things changed, mainly App Icons. Nothing on status Bar Changed which is what Iooking for.
I've Used Wanam Exposed to change Colors at least.

Hi all,
I don't know about you guys but I would very much like to see Bobcat theme be ported from note 3 to note 4.
Here is a list of screen shots : https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ts7vngfpvwjc5uf/8YklxHJwcp/KiTKaT
Link to main thread on note 3 forum : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2535240
It's a very beautiful looking dark glass theme with nicely made icons and the keypad is just lovely.
If anyone is interested in seeing it ported to note 4 then please reply here with how much you would like to donate.
Let me be the first with 10$.

Well we need someone with some skills to do so as i spoke to bobcat and he cant be asked to make it for note 4.
He did say would make a rom but i cant use his roms as i always use xnote with full multi dpi support and bobcat rom is no good when smaller dpi is needed.
I do however love his theme...
Me too on my Note 3 liked this theme. I am willing to donate for the note 4 SM-N910C.
Would not do any good to port the theme if you are not running a rom that has been "de-qmg'ed". In other words roms on the note 4 and s5 use .qmg compressed .png image files, and Vrtheme or any other theme script will not work. I believe X-note, and most roms have most .qmg image files still intact. Will have to wait until someone develops a deodexed rom with standard .png files. I have asked Bob when he releases his Rom, if I can port it to T-mobile, but have not heard back from him. I agree about his theme, it is one of the best. The other Devs rom that I really love is in the international S4 9505 forum, and his name is Carotix, aka CarHDrom.

Seems like we are only a very few that have good taste in themes here in note 4 forum. I have the n910f so I was lucky to find out that X note Dev had the same device.
Now we just need a skilled Dev that could make a bobcat theme for our beloved note 4 but it will take some money to make someone start the project.
I just wish I had the time and skills to make the theme my self.

I loved this theme on my Note3. I would ante up $25 to get this theme on the (VZW) N4, $35 if it included a blacked out stock email client.

But I cannot use his rom as I use multi dpi and he cannot be bothered to make a theme or at least that's what he told me.

Give it some time. The theme for Tmobile variant is stable and might work on your phone if it's 4.4.4. When the lollipop version is completed there should be more ports seeing as it's not loaded with .qmg making it easier to theme.

After installing the potato Gradient control, the status bar get its transparency and the theme looks great, the only small thing i noticed is the alarm buttons of AM and PM is are totaly black same as the background and they are only viewable when you long press them. I suggest you make this public and inform that theme works in the N910C.
Where do I download the theme from? Or do I need to install the rom?
