Well i was just going throught the canvas2(A110) development thread and happen to find that there are now 2 kernels available for its chipset. So i was wondering if any of the devs here might ask the original developer of those kernels to help them in porting it for our device.
It would be really great if we can build it from groud up.
And also sony has released most of the sources for there device XPERIA C which has the same chipset and almost same specs as Canvas HD.
Hope to get some prositive replies.

For Now,
The answer is no.
The reasons are listed below.
No phone can accept kernels from other phones unless it is a clone.
Micromax Canvas HD and Xperia C have common CPU's but aren't Clones.
Micromax Canvas HD cannot use Canvas A110 kernel because they have different CPU's.
Kernels cannot be ported unless the complete source for both the kernels is available.
We will wait for Xiaomi sources and see if they are of use.
We will soon have ROMS based on Android 4.3 as Micromax is releasing an OTA Update for Micromax Canvas HD.

i searched Google, yahoo, every where. i can't find an official or full functioning rom anywhere....

but it is not an official release. OK it is edited , but some functions are not working. i don't want my phone to a mess.....
i anybody knows why there is no official release, please share it here.

is your phone have dual sim functionality?
cyanogenmod only supports single sim phones

Unfortunately in addition to the issue with Cyanogenmod only officially supporting single SIM devices, it would be quite difficult if not impossible to add full functionality for all aspects of your device because it uses a Mediatek Chipset and Micromax and Mediatek don't provide the kernel source code that would be necessary to get everything on your device working properly on a custom ROM like Cyanogenmod.

I have canvas 2.2 model number a114
it has MT6582 quad core processor of 1.3 ghz.. 1gb lpddr2 ram, Mali 400 dual core gpu of 500mhz..
i never had any performance issue on this phone ever playing any game!!!!
i have its stock rom (thanks to u guys), rooted it.. no problem it ever shown..except its stock rom launcher.. which used to
stopped working a lot of times.. i used nova launcher for this purpose..
now the main thing i am asking that y dont any custom roms building geniuses ever build custom kitkat rom for this device??
can i install cm11 on this device? y r custom roms so device specific.. since this device is too much powerful to handle any custom rom
yet neither any builder nor the company is providing kitkat rom or custom kitkat rom for it..
i have used miui v5 rom on this device (again thanks to xda :fingers-crossed.. but not happy since its made on jb 4.2.2.
i really need to flash kitkat rom on my phone!!!! plz help me guys..
this is the best phone under 10k with so much power..even more powerful than canvas a116.. yet people make custom kitkat rom for a116 but not for a114..!!!!!! plz response asap..
Good afternoon, I would like to know if it was possible someone help me to modify a kernel.
tested some roms Micromax A110 in Wiko Cink Slim, and it works almost perfect, taking the camera and the accelerometer.
then I auditioned in use "Xxxxxx-4.2.x-3.4.82" kernel A110
with a 4.2.2 rom that is this, "Ultimate Galaxy V5 Wiko Cink Slim B", I have the same problem
is possible to modify the kernel to my phone?

Micromax is an clone of your wiko (with some minor changes on sensors)
First please do not speak about that kernel here on xda.
That kernel is warez (its not GPL compliance) and its based on the hard work of @varun.chitre15.
IF you really want to speak about kernels, please use the awesome kernel Thunderzap v2 by Varun or the one made by bindass (also based on thunderzap)
Here on xda, we value A LOT the GPL, and the work made by developers, so please if you can edit your post and removed that kernel name, its against all we make here on xda.
ONtopic:
It should be possible to modified the current kernel to work with the aditional sensors of your wiko, since there's an source code, and also the sources released by wiko (check wikogeek.com ) if you have any experience compiling MTK Kernels, it should't be that hard...
If you have any questions, you can ask them on the CyanogenMod for mtk devices thread.., that has become the most active thread (and usefull) about Mediatek development..

Hi guys, I'm Jason and I'm new here. I hope I'm not posting in the wrong section. I've seen that Android Ice Cold Project seems to be quite popular and had done ports for a number of phones. I was looking for an AICP Lollipop ROM for the Micromax Canvas Doodle 2 A240. The phone is already rooted and I have installed CWM as well. I've even used the increase storage MOD, and now have 2.96GB for internal storage and apps. Is there any AICP Lollipop ROM for the Micromax Canvas Doodle 2 A240? I tried looking up the official website for AICP but couldn't make sense of which ROM to download as the names under devices didn't strike me as phone models. Then again, I'm fairly new to this. I would really appreciate any help given over here. Thanks in advance, waiting for all the replies

All ROMs are ported, not compiled from source. This way, we can't upgrade our Android version. What's the point of having these lollipop custom ROMs ?
