Stock Android Gallery - Sony Xperia Z Ultra

I'm not really a fan of how the Sony Album works. Is the stock android gallery anywhere to be found. I didn't bother looking yet. Just asking the crowd first.

I don't know about the stock gallery but my preference is QuickPic
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.alensw.PicFolder&hl=en_GB

I actually digg the Sony album. It looks nice and it works quite well. Quickpic is good though (used it as my primary gallery app back on Gingerbread).

I'll check it out. I just want to be able to sort by folder rather than date.
Sent from my C6802 using Tapatalk 2

And I just launched it. Quick pic is exactly what I was looking for. Nothing flashy, easy to navigate by folder. Thanks a ton.

Stock 4.2 gallery works as well as the stock camera.

I took out the gallery2.apk last night from my HTC One X running CM10.2 and moved it in to /system/app/ works like a charm

Just wondering what people would recommend to use as a gallery, the stock jb one is pretty basic and dated looking and in need of replacement.

No doubt. Quickpic is the best choice.

I like this gallery alternative.

That's great. Which version are you using - the one in OP or the linked one on the last page? I used the one in OP.
The OP one! I did notice that the sharing button was sparsely populated until I selected all sharing options. The only one I tested was emailing a selected photo....
It's a really slick app!

for aosp browser there is an app in playstore called root aosp browser that works great
Curious as to why it needs root? Does it install to system? Surely the browser itself shouldn't have it

I meant to ask about the sms app not the browser. I can't seem to be able to rename the thread.

Yeah, it does install it to system and also includes file for sync. Pretty handy app actually for easy install. It will say it isn't compatible when going to install but just back out of that, install, and it works perfect. Sooooo glad too because I love the 4.2 aosp browser!!

Aokp beats

Here is a preview of a port of AOKP 4.4.2 filled with audiophile goodness. Should be uploaded in a day or 2. I haven't found any bugs as yet. This is a port and not built from source.
Thanks to the AOKP team, Viper, Acid, Awesome Beats and everyone who has built audio goodness that I have incorporated into this. If I haven't mentioned your name let me know and I'm happy to credit you.
Also added Cybershot and Motion shot Camera. See screenshot.
Download!

Initial boot takes a while, its a big file guys, boot animation freezes but it will boot.
Gapps not included. I haven't linked the 4.4.2 Gapps I'm sure you guys know where they are

I can't wait for this!! Been really looking forward for an Audiophile ROM to test out. So far Moon ROM was the only one that came with Sound Mods
Just a quick question before the release. Anyone is welcome to chime in:
What would be the best combination of apps to use?
I know viper, dsp, and beats are all equalizers. So I don't see why how one is greater than the other.. At least not to my knowledge...

I just flashed this on a I317M on Rogers and it is really, really good!! This has everything I am looking for in a ROM. I am having the walkman app force close on me. I tried clearing data and cache, but it didn't work. It is no biggie for me as I use other music players but thought you should know. I am restoring apps with Titanium right now and have no issues. Keep up the great work on this one because I think I just found my daily driver. Is there a way this ROM could be maintained for the AT&T Note 2?

I would be interested to know if walkman fc for anyone else. You could always download a different version and push it to system app and change permissions to see if that solves it (only if you want to use it).
Happy for you to link to this thread and share on at&t

Of yes and if you get music stopping as soon as you move away from the home screen, swipe down notifications, turn off the screen etc..
When using Google Now launcher, the problem is being caused by hot word detection. Go to Google Now setting (menu button on home screen)/voice/uncheck hot word detection. Problem solved

Best answer:
1. search XDA i had a quick look and didnt find any links
2. Download a camera app from play store
3. If you have a cm rom extract it go to apps and copy the cam apk to system app of this rom and set permissions
Sorry i couldnt be more helpful. If i get a chance ill upload the original cam apk from the aokp rom and link to it
